I was a bit skeptical going in to the course here at first. Because there is so much fluff and companies that just promises sunshine and rainbows.

But I ended up being open minded and everything felt good from start to finish, entering this course. Good presentation from the student recruiter and the coaches really knows their stuff!

Introduction meeting went pretty well until the time I said that I wanted more time to think and make a decision.
The person got super angry when I told him that I will reflect on it and get back to him.
All of sudden, he started to almost yelling at me that I am not serious and I am afraid to commit,...
I kept on telling him that it's me who will be paying and need time to make an informed decision; then he got even angrier, said that it's a no from them because they cannot work with someone who isn't serious!!
tbh, the way he presented the course was good and was probably going to join.
But the presenter's behavior made me very suspicious and even made me think if it is not a scam!
How do you make someone sign a loan contract during a call??

This company marketed itself to me. Nowhere does it mention the price before you get in contact with a sales representative.

Their agreement contains both a strict non-disclosure agreement and a 12 month non-competition agreement. Non-disclosure is not just to protect the learning material or courses (protected by copyright) but rather to prevent you from reviewing it. Non-competition is even stranger as you are not hired by them and do not receive compensation from them. From a Swedish point of view (marketed in Swedish in Sweden) these clauses are combined with compensation for their duration.

Neither clauses exist among serious learning institutions.

On the plus side they do actually tell you what you can expect to get from your education with them. So that's a star.

I got offered an introduction meeting (by the danish branch) and had a very weird and unprofessional experience.

So, I am studying Computer science at uni and was looking at Allcode as a supplement for my education. Before setting the meeting, no price was mentioned, but I kinda figured there would be one (18.700 DKK).

During the intromeeting, I was meet by a danish sales person. This guy used the first half hour to tell me how good a fit I would be for the course, and how great it fit my situation. He then told me the price, and I politely told him that i would have to discuss it with my partner because we have shared economy and since it's quite a lot of money, for someone studying at the university. He then went on to preussere me to say yes, by explaining that my girlfriend proberbly didn't get how big an opportunity I was being offered, and that this would secure me higher income in the future. When I politely told him I wouldn't agree to pay that large a fee without discussing it with my GF first, he declared that I wasn't a good fit after all, and ended the call.

Left me with the impression, that this is yet another business just selling online courses. Acting like acceptance is exclusive, but in reality they just want to sell an expensive course.

After a phone call from a different employee, I've been assured that my experience, is not how they want to represent themselves. At the same time he told me that this case had lead to several changes in how they market themselves an especially how they communicate the price going forward.

I truly hope and believe the students actually see value from this course, it's a shame the first employee acted during the meeting. Completely detured me from considering entering this course, might have been a different story, if I had my intro call with the second employee.

The price is 18.700 DKK, now you know beforehand unlike me😊 Be prepared to accept that or you might find yourself in the same situation as me (at least in Denmark). If you want an alternative CS50x is a course offered by Havard and its free i might add 😉

I hope they follow through on the changes I was explained was in progress.

Allcode gave me the push that I needed to begin my journey as a developer. The course is really well-structured, has very clear and informative videos that will make you understand all the concepts of what's going on. If you ever get stuck the coaches/other students are there instantly to provide you with information, insights and how to solve your problems.

Without doubt, Allcode is offering a serious package comprising not only lessons but homework reviews and an ever present availability to coaching. They will also guide you on your way to obtain your goal of getting a job. Hence they will create a solid reputation and attract an increasing number of students.
My assessment is that their offering is of great potential for those who aspire towards a career.
Clearly they possess a lot of talent and competence and the atmosphere is inspiring.
From my personal standpoint, being 61yo with no prior experience, I find the lessons to be presented at quite a high pace. I frequently pause, rewind and retake.
Moreover, I guess young people are perfectly adapted to the didactic format and find it all but natural to look up things in external resources in order to get a complete understanding of the lesson's topic, whereas I am more used to be spoon-fed in super-comprehensive lessons that don't leave out anything.
I sometimes get a teeny bit unsure about the inference of what's being said in a lesson. After all they are recorded so I cannot interrupt the teacher and ask for clarification.
It's a strong personal trait of mine not to settle with assumptions, so whenever I need clarification I turn to my mentor with my queries and I get my question marks straightened.
Allcode is in the process of developing tools to further improve their operation.One example is a tool to capture the specific portion of a lesson that the student wants to have explained in greater detail, in order to provide a reference for the mentor to better understand the query, hence speeding ut the process and highten the effectiveness.
Theese are my first impressions (I haven't got very far yet) All in all I very much enjoy studying with allcode.
I have great faith that what is taught is really useful and updated. The staff, as well as fellow students, are very friendly and eager to help you progress.
I have a difficulty to set aside time for my studies and thus I advance at a slow pace, but none the less I enjoy it and I'm pleased to have chosen to start studying at Allcode.

Super happy with the environment Allcode has set up for people to get into coding. Even if you don't have prior experience, Allcode will teach you everything there is to know from start to finish.

There is a great teacher that explains his decisions methodically so I can follow along and really understand how the code works. There is also a great Discord server dedicated to this program that I use everytime I need help and people willingly share their advice with me. The admins in the server are such friendly people aswell. They will answer every question I might possibly have.

I've always wanted to get into coding but I never knew where to start and this program gave me the opportunity to start. The best part about this course is they way that they review the homework you submit. They explain what's good with it, what you could improve on and also offer you alternative solutions to making your code look better. This is something that is extremely useful for me as getting feedback for my work helps out a lot.

This course is definitely worth it if you're thinking about getting into coding and I've already recommended it to my friends.

Great education for frontend/backend web development with a focus on practical application building over route theory. The lessons goes straight into it with minimal background knowledge needed, concisely going over topics in a lesson format, coupled with practical live coding to follow along with. The mentors are available for quick feedback within the same day and often the same hour as a question is asked, giving well thought out answers and tips. The full course is in English and I can highly recommend it to anyone who wants to learn web development.

Opplevelsen har vært både lærerik og morro, man får virkelig personaliserte tilbakemeldinger og tips til hva som kan gjøres bedre. Forelesninger er skrevet inn på forhånd som gjør det mye lettere å holde følge.

Allcode är en väldigt bra utbildning, lektionerna är väldigt tydliga och man får väldigt bra förklaring. Det jag uppskattar mest med Allcode är att det finns många duktiga lärare och elever som är engagerade vilket gör att man blir motiverad till att göra ett så bra jobb med sina uppgifter. Allcode är en utbildning för dig som vill läsa på distans och vill styra lite själv hur och när du vill studera.

Även för mig som kom in senare i kursen fungerade allt väldigt bra. Har fått väldig bra hjälp, då jag behövt det och det uppskattas väldigt mycket när man fastnat.
Rekommenderar Allcode Academy för dig som vill men aldrig fått möjligheten.

If you want a challenge and an incredibly bright future, I highly recommend Allcode. I am a student and extremely satisfied with how the teachers instruct – everything is through videos, making it very simple. First and foremost, Nils is an incredibly good teacher who explains things very well.

The community is incredibly helpful. Both students and teachers respond to your questions and assist you with any problems you may have. The assignments are excellent. You learn so much and very quickly. The teachers who grade your assignments are great, and you learn very quickly. If you make mistakes, it's okay; everyone makes mistakes, and the teachers point out where/what mistakes you've made. The teachers provide good criticism, and you learn very quickly from it. I have had Leon grade my exams, and he provides me with incredibly good feedback and points out what else I should consider in my upp coming assignments.

It is a rock-solid course where I do each class when I can when I want!
The course is divided into seected videos of about 1 hr.The teacher is cutting edge and explains well how and why he writes the code, what each term does and how its built.
Feedback on homework is superb.
I am given really good explanations on how to make my code cleaner and easier and of course always in another way than my suggestions, that's a god way of learning. And even different from the teacher's examples---that means yet another solution!
I do not regret my choice of joining this exciting trip and it remains to be seen how helpful allcode.co will be in getting interviews and a job. But I'm certain that will be positive s well!.
Discord community is helpful as I have joined in a few times to help, but not asked for help yet. But I see from other discussions that it takes short time before someone comes to rescue!

Its an amazing course where you do each class as you have time and at your own pace. The teacher is through and explains really well how and why we write the code as we do, what each term does and how its built.
The feedback system on the homework is splendid, they give you really good pointers and tips on how to make the code cleaner and easier to read while explaining their thoughts and opinions. The community on discord is fantastic and so helpful when im stuck, they too explain what went wrong and how to fix it.

I am so so happy i found this and took the opportunity to learn coding. Everyone i have had contact with so far has been super helpful and informative in their response to make sure i understand everything before moving on.

It is an amazing community you have around you to help you get to your dreams of becoming an programmer, you have 1 on 1 with mentors that helps you and gives you feedback to help you become better.
