Worst platform ever

Worst platform ever. My good never arrived. The seller doesn t reply anymore. I ask help to allegro, they send me the parcel number which is not mooving since 3 weeks. Bad platform and sellers. Stupid people and management. Dont order there !!

"it's a trap"

I ordered the strongest model of Lidl's Parkside brand of pruning shears, the package arrived soon - but it contained a model that was half as strong and half as expensive.
I checked on the website, the model I ordered was no longer available - maybe they took too many orders for it and tried to alleviate the situation by sending the cheaper model.
I wrote to them that I did not receive what I ordered, but a cheaper and weaker one and I am waiting for their suggestion on how to compensate me - no response for two weeks.
Avoid this webshop.

Only buy low-value items – the guarantee does not exist

I strongly recommend only purchasing low-value items from Allegro.hu, because the so-called buyer protection seems to exist only in marketing materials.

A drill I purchased broke months after arrival. I contacted the seller multiple times, but they never responded to any of my messages. I then tried to reach Allegro’s customer service, but it was essentially unreachable.

Through the chat system, Allegro occasionally reminded the seller that they should refund the purchase price, but despite these reminders, nothing actually happened. No refund, no real assistance, and no effective resolution.

Based on my experience, Allegro’s “buyer protection” is just a slogan without any real support behind it. If you decide to shop here, I would strongly advise sticking to low-value products, because if something goes wrong, you may be left completely on your own.

Recommended!

For the most part, the website is excellent and the search filters effective. I'd love an English language version/option, but Firefox translate handles it fairly well most of the time. The app could really benefit from this.

I've had one or two issues with items, which are ongoing discussions and have failed to be resolved satisfactorily. Generally, however, the customer service is quick to respond and extremely helpful.

The fairly regular discount codes are the cherry on the cake, and it's only the few issues I've had which are preventing this from being a 5 star review.

Misleading system, incompetent moderation, and total lack of customer protection

Be extremely careful with Allegro! My experience was a nightmare. I received a damaged item, and Allegro’s system actively encouraged me to return it using the 'Damaged Item' reason. However, once the item was back with the seller, the moderation became a total chaos.

I dealt with three different moderators (Julia, Barbora, Aleksander) who gave completely contradictory instructions. They demanded a carrier damage report that was legally and physically impossible to obtain since the item was no longer in my possession. They ignored their own rules and EU consumer protection laws for days.

The 'Allegro Protect' program is a joke—it’s just a marketing slogan. You have to fight for weeks and possess nerves of steel to get your money back. Even when they finally approved the refund, they acted as if they were doing me a 'special favor' instead of admitting their system misled me from the start.

Management is unreachable, and they repeatedly refused to provide a direct contact for a formal complaint. If you want to avoid a legal war for your own money, stay away from this platform. They shift all responsibility onto the buyer and protect uncooperative sellers until the very last moment.

Scammers

Scammers. They send from Poland and goods lost or stolen during the way. Their app only in one language. Pathetic
I rather use amazon that if something is lost or stolen, they refund me immediately

Order not delivered

On 7th November I odered an advent calendar (seller: Cup and You) with coffe inside. All I got was a message thet they will not deliver it due to the size... I guess it is less that 0,5 Kg, but maybe it is bigger than a Boeing Aircraft? Ridiculous.
They said I should cancel my order to get my money back. But the order disappeared from their system. How interesting!
UPDATE: Today I got refund... but still it's a bad experience overall

Money recovered after 2 months

On 29 September, 2029 have purchased and paid for 2 bottles of Floradix iron syrup, seller Jakub Majer. I've never got my items, the seller did not give back my money. After many letters Allegro stepped in just to find out that they are asking for my bank account number to transfer my money back. Is this a fraud? They supposed to know my account as the money for my 2 items was paid by bank transfer.
Until today they continue to send me useless emails only to make me look guilty in this matter. The moment I've attached the proof of the other Allegro transaction where my money was returned my email failed to reach them, looks like error, non existent email address, after it was used for weeks suddenly appears non existent. They steal about Eur30 from me only to point the finger towards me. So disgusting!
Update: after 1 day short of 2 months my money was returned thanks to one single customer support assistant. Interestingly she wasn't able to find any trace of my purchase or my payment (imagine the chaos inside Allegro's system!) but after sending the proof from my bank statement she returned my money.
After reading about my ordeal I leave it up to you guys: would you ever use Allegro? Would you recommend it to anyone? Not me for sure!

One of the best webshops

One of the best webshops, but! they use DHL and Magyar Posta for delivery which are the worst two delivry company. They do not communikate, the delivery time is from 8-5pm, maybe the client has to take a free day for waiting. It is terrible!

Nagyobb rendelést adtunk le, amelyet utánvéttel kértünk. A szállítás során megsérült pár pohár és tányér, de az Allegro csapat készségesen segített megoldani a visszatérítést az eladóval. Minden rendben volt.
