We have visited this pharmacy several times now and there is a lovely young woman there who appears to carry out all flu and Covid injections in addition to all the other tasks in the shop - just to say she is extraordinarily calm and proficient in all her tasks even when under extreme pressure she is charming and friendly and I would say a very valuable employee and her attitude indicates that she is destined to achieve great things - we are full of admiration for her.

Absolutely shocking as a pharmacy. One star is being generous to be perfectly honest.

They are left to provide important medications to people that are in need of it for various reasons and they never have what’s needed in stock.
Out of all the people I seen in the Callington branch over the last two days which were around 8-10 people in total in the time I was in there waiting only one person got the full prescription… ONE!!
One of the ladies waiting had a prescription for emergency antibiotics and was sent away with a days worth and a owing note for the rest… she asked when they’d be in and she was told “don’t know” so if she’s left waiting 2-3 days for it she’ll have to start the whole course again…

I was trying to collect a prescription for my 7 week old baby who is suffering severely with reflux to the point he will scream the house down for hours on end until he passes out with exhaustion because we literally can’t give him anything else for it to be told they only had 8 sachets of his script not the full box of 30… so they owe me 22… I was told to go in next day and still not available!! 3 times I have been in there!! My baby has one sachet left and I have had to skip giving doses and do every other bottle daytime and not give it to him over night to make what we had stretch… so he’s still uncomfortable and crying!!

The staff are very slow, and quite frankly unhelpful, i understand they probably get a lot of complaining thrown at them which is likely the cause of the poor attitudes from the staff… The Allied pharmacies as a company are useless and need to really sort their services out ASAP! The staff are evidently stressed out with the lack of organisation, deliveries and missing orders and support!! I know they do order everything people are requesting as I seen them doing it and one of them said she’d ordered one ladies medicine two days in a row in hopes it would arrive in, her words were “we have two chances to get it in, fingers crossed” I mean really? How Allied are still running I do not know! I am frustrated but also feel bad for the staff too!!

That being said the medication I was waiting on should remain in stock as thats gaviscon infant and just seems a totally ridiculous thing to be out of… and why only 8 sachets? If you have got down to one box (30) why wouldn’t you order it back in sooner? Or order it in when you get down to two boxes to be safe as you know the deliveries are very hit and miss? Are stock checks not done on a regular basis?! Perhaps that’s something that needs addressing?
Anyway, so now I have to go about different pharmacies tomorrow to hunt down this stuff and show that my baby was prescribed the items but due to the useless pharmacy in my town we’re still in need of it otherwise my little baby is left to suffer all weekend in hopes that they have it in stock sometime next week! Honestly this whole thing has made me so angry!
My baby is in pain and too little to have anything else so I’m stuck trying to soothe him the best I can which isn’t helping the issue!!

One day this company and their lack of organisation and care will be the cause of someone’s death! The fear people must have taking medications that literally keeps them alive being left in the hands of this company! Diabolical!

Booked a flu jab got a confirmation walked to the pharmacy to be told they know nothing even though i had the e mail confirmation. Was then told because i pay the pharmacy they have can not do it they only do non paying??? The injection is the same the serum the same the way she puts it in the arm the same so?????? No explanation , no apology just NO. Went to another pharmacy who did it with no hassle

Not a verry good company presuppositions sent to allied pharmacy on the 21 of last month for a blister pack I could not get to the pamacie to collect blister pack so went Saturday morning the blister pack was not ready tablets for hart and epilepsy and aunty cicotic 30 tablets in total because of hospital visits was given a negative response but the blister pack should have been ready for Friday your life in there hands be careful when using allied pharmacy

Vaccinations for Covid and Flu at Heavitree Exeter . Prompt efficient . Emma did vaccinations . Very professional and pleasant . 10/10 .

I had a concerning experience when I was sold medication containing an inactive ingredient that I have an intolerance to.

Luckily, my wife spotted this before I took the medication. We returned it straight away, but were told that it could not be refunded. More concerningly, the staff also refused to check any alternative medications to confirm whether they contained the same ingredient.

I have never known a pharmacy refuse to do this. In my experience, pharmacists will normally check their system or the information supplied with the medication to establish whether a particular ingredient or allergen is present. My local Boots always do this for me.

For someone with an allergy or intolerance, being able to obtain this information is important. I found the response from the pharmacy both unhelpful and potentially dangerous.

I would expect a pharmacy to take allergies and intolerances more seriously.

Heavitree pharmacy is fine but don't bother trying to call them, they never pick up. They should just delete the phone number off the internet and save us all some time.

If anybody is unsure what amazing customer service is, then please visit this pharmacy, Laura and Osna were both absolutely amazing.

The pharmacist female in the Bromborough Pharmact is very helpful and knowledgeable about what the pharmacy can offer including regular blood pressure tests. They are exceptionally quick on receiving requests for medications and having the prescriptions ready on the same day. It provides a very efficient service. Very happy with service they offer.

Don't book vaccinations on website, pharmacy has no knowledge of them so it's a wasted trip.

The website lets you book vaccinations on days when the vaccination is not even available. Pharmacist was understandably frustrated. Luckily my journay was only 10 minutes, but it's a waste of time all round.

If you must use Allied Pharmacies, call the pharmacy branch directly to check days/times when they can do the vaccination.

Not the fault of branch staff - this company has the world's most useless booking system, where email "confirms" date/time that will never work and nobody follows up to fix this.

I ordered my prescription online on Monday afternoon and had a text from Allied Wednesday morning to say my prescription was ready to pick up...... Brilliant!!

not the first time that the health centre sent up a prescirption and have wait four hours for it to be put up after checking the health centre had sent it up by computer after it was on my NSH login and when I go to collect it they are short and told to come back the next afternoon and then wait for it to be put up the rest ,this time I thought that I would wait an extra few days to collect my pain killers as the walk to the pharmacy is painful enough at normal times but when you have run out it is even worse , after waiting for 15 minutes I get asked to come back later as the pharacist is putting them up now , three days without pain killers and I have to stand there and wait or come back later, I'm not sure whether it is the lack of staff or what there seems to be plenty of staff there but no-one seems to know where anything is they tend to go around in circles looking for bags of prescriptions that have already been made up

This review is for their Bridgend branch next to riverside surgery, merthyr mawr road north. The team there are absolutely amazing, nothing is too much trouble and they actually went above and beyond to resolve the issues I was having. Id like to mention Josie whose customer service skills are nothing like ive experienced before, any company would be lucky to have someone of her calibre on their team. An absolute godsend. Id advise anybody lookimg for a reliable pharmacy which can also deliver to sign up with Allied pharmacy. Thank you Allied keep up the good work

Twice now I have been given the wrong dosage medication even though it clearly says on the prescription 30mgs I have been given 20mgs it has even been put 30mgs on the label but the box and tablets inside both say 20mgscan this pharmacist not read and it just shows they are not checked

Received a eventual reply, which basically banning myself was done on ;reasonable grounds' - without explaing what those grounds are because certainly I was not aggressive, did not swear, did not shout, throw a tantrum, or chimp out - I was just straight forward, was curt in my dealing with the situation.

I replied to their email asking what the 'reasonable grounds' are, I am still awaiying a reply... well thats a shocker isnt it?

I think that what they want is an ultra safe place, maybe they should work with plants - just a thought.

If I could give more stars I definitly would. They are very friendly, very helpful and they deliver next day.

Other online pharmacies can take a week plus to come, and you cannot ring and order your repeat prescription over the phone yet you can take a peice of paper to them and do it that way which isnt helpful at all. Allied pharmacy, you can call them and do it over the phone which is very handy fir people that cannot leave the house for whatever reason, and delivered by a very friendly person also. I will continue to give good reveiws because it is 100 percent deserved! Amazing service, no hassle at all.

I struggle with anxiety and agoraphobia, and one of my therapy challenges was to walk to my local chemist to collect my prescription. At first I was terrified and had panic attacks just trying to get there. But the staff in this pharmacy were so kind that, bit by bit, it became easier.

They always greet me by my name, and every member of staff is friendly, calm, and genuinely helpful. Their kindness made a huge difference to me. What started as a frightening challenge has now become something I can easily do. I’m really grateful for the support and understanding they’ve shown. A truly wonderful local chemist
