Not for singers!!
I took a bit of a gamble, to be honest. I went there hoping it was a good place to record audio (I am a vocalist). Sadly, this is not the place for that kind of activity. The background noise puts a stop to that! And if that wasn’t bad enough, 2 guys were pumping out rap music in the corridor! So, I left earlier than what I paid for. Saying that, the facilities were impressive and the toilets were very clean, including the rooms. The equipment was sufficient for what the room is designed for however, there was no mix stand. I knew that at the time of booking, though.

Enjoy with a few issue
This studio was what I needed for the session that I was working on, served a propose well.
Headphone were broken only sound only came out one side. Which to my personal headphone work fine.
Mic stand holder wasn't on the stand properly and was tighten to hard so was able to fix so the stand was to short of my signer.
Also had to rewire the monitor as the left and right were wrong.

Really appreciated the affordability but brought 1/4 jack headphones like the description said and they didn't still work very well. The space was nice though but was difficult to navigate mixing without headphones

Easy access into the studio room
Easy access into the studio room. Excellent parking facility. The room smelt fresh , but studio desk was sticky. The cable connection to enable my laptop 💻 to function was short , which led me having to use my laptop at an awkward angle. Large midi Keyboard was situated on the desk , which took up space and should have been on a keyboard rack. Wi-Fi wasn’t working , booking next door came to ask me if I knew how to work it , and I said no. Overall it was a pleasant experience, much better than Pirate studios. A few minor tweaks would better my experience, but would I go again, yes I think I would.

Equipment was functional and well maintained. Reasonable amount of space for the cost. Unfortunately the space was not soundproof enough to be suitable for recording. Lots of bleed from the studio next door and the noise from the corridor outside.

Steer clear!
Poor instructions on how to find the studio, no way to enter the building without being let in by other tenants from the large building. No signposts to inform you of where to go (there are 100 studios in the building). No code provided to enter the door once found (a night guard eventually appeared and showed us which door despite it not being his responsibility to do so), no answer on the phone for at least 15-20 minutes. Once we entered the studio, some 40 minutes later, the equipment was not as described on the website and the booking seemed useless. No refund received, despite them confirming it would be. No responses to further emails sent. Nightmare - do not use!

The only reason I give this studio a 4/5 is because the dj booth next to us was quite loud. In saying that though after contacting the studio team they kindly reached out to our neighbors and asked them to turn the music down which they did. Luckily still managed to get good vocal recordings despite the noise so I would def recommend for the price and level of service. Booking my second session now!
