I was super lucky there and it felt like a breath of fresh air after all that hullabaloo with Alt. Alt might have been something years ago, but now it is an absolute bottom. Nearly every woman I interacted with turned out to be con artist lying about everything and eventually asking for money directly or indirectly. There are no women with real BDSM mindset on Alt. Their intentions are completely different from what they claim in their profiles. You have to dig a ton of mud to find a diamond.

I object to the claims that every woman is scamming. I'm a woman and have never done anything like that. However, Alt was always pretty bad but now that they have removed the chat rooms, without warning, it has 0 interest for me. I was a paying gold member but never again. Tata Alt o/

This scum service keeps spamming me... I requested they stop 42 times and they keep my inbox full of unwanted bogus offers. They provide no means for me to stop them.. their website obfuscates attempts.

They refuse to honor unsubscribe requests. Emailing them for support in unsubscribing is responded with a note they don't process or respond to emails asking to cease spamming me. Like other "dating" sites it is a fraudulent operation as the ladies that are paid to paid to chat and keep you buying access coins.

Been on the site since 2002 and now they want me to prove I'm 18 all the kink categories have been removed and replaced with PC woke terminology. Next thing you know holding hands will be a big kink alt.com is a pale shadow of itself it was always bad but now it's so terrible you can't even use it and now they can't figure out if you've been on the site 20 years you're over 18 years old they even had my billing record to prove it so anybody got any good suggestions on where to go now

Echoing other comments. There are way too many false profiles that either use photos from the web, claim to be looking for love (on a BDSM dating site?), or have no profile information whatsoever.
Moreover, ALT is notorious for not replying to questions, problems, clarifications even though they proudly state that a customer service representative will reply soon. Or keeping its user base informed about bugs, system changes, etc.

I found that the web-site administrators were shadow banning my photos and videos which is why I was not getting any matches. I changed my search settings to see the photos of men to find out if any of mine were being shown and none were there to be seen. Instead I was looking at poor quality unprofessional photos of men with photos that clearly should not have be featured over my own and my videos did not even have a single view. I decided that since I was being treated so unfairly I should delete my profile.

Alt has gone downhill steadily for years, it's rock bottom. Nearly every female profile has turned out to be fake or someone seeking to Nickle and dime you to death. Of the 15 or so people I spoke to from alt all 15 were asking for money or something with in a day or two. They refuse to send verification photo's or share anything that could possibly confirm they are real. It's tedious at best now.

One of the worst if not the worst personal sites for people looking to meet like-minded people into the BDSM lifestyle. To many fake profiles, girls wanting you to subscribe to their Onlyfans page, etc etc.
DO NOT even waste your time making a free profile!

In its frenzy of attempting every possible ways to squeeze out any revenues from members the site has become a total mess where most features do not work. If you only want to see some small profile pics that'll work. Twice in the past I attempted to purchase a short membership where they cashed the money , provided NO service and refused any correction.

This is one of perhaps a hundred similar websites that prey upon human weaknesses by pretending to offer fantasy sexual encounters. All of the sites work the same, and so are similarly cynical and useless. Very often you can meet some of their models offline as well. Don't waste your time and money trying to do the same thing on Alt. The overwhelming majority of the accounts are as fake as a three dollar bill. Everybody tends to ask you for money sooner or later - this is the only reason they sign up for Alt.

Paid a three month membership fee. It was booked off my credit card and then I could not see profiles or send any message. Was constantly asked to upgrade. I sent messages to inquire and no one would reply. I called and no one could give me any explanation why the money was booked and it was not showing in their books. Please, just get off that place.

Having met them, my friend was
brutalised,
ALL there cash money stolen,
bank details noted and abused,
cleared the bank account
took all their personal details.

Alt.com used to be amazing in its time twenty years ago. As time passed, they kept adding fees for everything. This pushed many real people away. There used to be 100 of people in the chat rooms during popular hour. The main room is maybe 20 people. Now it is full of bot accounts and scammers. STAY AWAY from this site. They do not care. They allow this because they want numbers to look popular. STAY AWAY.

ALT account blocked and no way to get help with account login. Extremely poor/No support, full of fake profiles and unreliable. DON'T waste your money

Most of the contacts I have had on this site seek money for a variety of reasons, travel to meet, sick relative, need to fix car etc. They are prolific Scammers and ALT do nothing to remove them when reported.

Even the renewal pricing is a Scam. The company offers renewal at a price monthly but the 'billed' cost is well above the actual monthly amount.

It seems everything connected with this site is a scam. The company does not respond to messages to its customer services.

Been off and on for years. Thought it would help finding someone honest that can talk about what they like and want. Nope. It's way worse. Almost entirely scammers and prostitutes. Also I think there is a heavy presence of actual human traffickers dealing both adults and children. I found it in my area, and my suspect seems to appear in many fake profiles around the country with variations of the same pseudonym. She for sure had Facebook and Instagram, Id be charged with a crime if she was in innocent

Awful. Just fake profiles and woman asking for money. Not sure why this scandal is allowed. Every reason possible is given to plead for money. Even so called Mistresses want paying in advance, then of course never to be herd from again. Not sure that anyone genuinely in to BDSM would go near this awful web site. Also, other sites are the same.
