My experience with Altabank has been so ridiculously bad - and I've been sitting here on hold for so long - that I thought I'd at least warn people about this bank. Two things have really soured me on Altabank. First, when the PPP loans came out they were completely unprepared to help customers. They were caught completely flat-footed and we had to scramble to get our PPP loan elsewhere. Second, they just rolled out new software and it has been the worst software rollout I've ever witnessed. I've spent over two hours on hold this week, been locked out of my account, had to reset my password multiple times, they used the same temporary password for all clients which seems like a hug security risk, and then when I finally logged in the one transaction I needed to do, which normally takes about 45 seconds, doesn't work.
I'll add one more on. This bank used to be local. All you need to do is listen to how they pronounce Alta to know that this is no longer a local company.
