I was very nervous as I began working with Rayan Ashford, having been scammed before, but he was very patient and understanding as he worked with me, listening to my vision and working with me towards the publishing of my first book. What made my experience great was Rayan Ashford and his team. They completed my project remarkably fast. The quality was/is amazing. I spoke to several other firms about my project, during discussions all of them were interested in money first and my project second. Rayan asked me what is my vision, what do I want to accomplish, what is my time frame and how far along was I. After we discussed all of that then he let me know pricing which by the way was super competitive but really fair for what I was asking. This was my first book but the communication with him and his team made the process feel effortless.

I'm a first-time author of a non-fiction book about my 34-year naval career. I was fortunate enough to start working with Hazel Roy from The Book Publishing Pros. Then I switched it up by bringing the book to multiple different platforms, where my book is currently available now. She made a nice-looking website for me too.

Currently, we are working on marketing projects, and I have seen some good results, so I took the same marketing package for another 3 months. Now, we are looking forward to making the book a bestseller in its categories. Working with this company since 2020.

I worked with several different people during the writing and publishing of my first book. Overall, it was a good experience. Several times the girl I worked with changed what I wrote and that changed the meaning of a sentence. We worked together, and she changed the wording back as it was originally written and intended. It is important for the author to proofread everything carefully. David Collins was extremely helpful after the book was published working with me on social media content, the audiobook and website.

I can't say enough about how dedicated, eager, pleasant or helpful this company was to me. On my publication team, I had the absolute privilege to work with Daniel Green and David Collins, and I could go on for days about the work they did for me. When I set out to write a children's book I was looking for illustrators and I came across Native publishing who for a very reasonable cost was able to do the illustrations and help me complete my book. This was my first book and I knew nothing about the process and they were very patient and were able to take the time and give me the personal attention it took to make my book a reality. From inception, illustrations, publishing to Amazon and Barnes and Noble my project manager Hazel Roy made me feel like I was her only client always taking the time to walk me though every step and process. She earned my trust and now is handling my marketing campaign.

The formatting and editing teams have been inferior as they make mistakes that as payer for their services I should not have to catch. I have been working with them almost a month and had to send it back again with errors.

I am ready to get done and wish that I had never used them.

I was very pleased with the publishing of my book with KDP publishing. The files of my illustrations that I sent were not all the same size and the colouring was not consistent. Martin, the contact person on my team, was very helpful in advising me so I would end up with a book of really good quality. He was available to answer all my questions usually the same day I asked. The only draw back was that I live in Canada and I hadn’t realized when I first started I was dealing with an American company. So though the price was reasonable it just happened to be a bit more than I had anticipated. I also had to pay more to get the quality I wanted. But overall my experience with kdp publishing was very satisfying.
