Quando ho iniziato con AmblyoPlay, avevo molti dubbi. Pensavo che non sarebbe stato il percorso giusto per me, che sarebbe stato solo un altro tentativo destinato a fallire. E invece, con il tempo e con costanza, ho visto cambiare qualcosa dentro di me. Allenamento dopo allenamento, senza forzature e con la flessibilità di cui avevo bisogno, ho cominciato a intravedere dei veri miglioramenti — piccoli, ma reali, e per me enormi.

Se non fosse stato per AmblyoPlay e per il suo team, sempre presente, gentile e incredibilmente disponibile, probabilmente avrei perso anche l’ultima speranza. Oggi, grazie a loro, questa speranza è più viva che mai. Spero con tutto il cuore di poter risolvere definitivamente il mio problema, ma qualunque sia il risultato finale, vi sarò per sempre grato per avermi ridato fiducia e motivazione quando più ne avevo bisogno.

I am impressed with the offering from AmblyoPlay, as I have not encountered many systems like it. Being able to coordinate my treatment with a connected health provider means that I can discuss progress and adjust training accordingly. The treatment is valuable both from an immediate eye training perspective as well as simply a deep insight into how each eye behaves when placed under more complex inputs than a typical real world or in-optometrist-office scenario can reproduce over time.

There is room for improvement; the training is very much tailored for children and simple eye challenges. I am of the opinion that the system could be varied to be much more convenient to adults, and present more suitable binocular challenges for those where the training eye has different needs, such as adequate vision but insufficient binocular convergence. More complex visuals in their games would help here, as well as less time wasted in the game design in terms of prompts.

The application is wonderful and excellent , it has helped my daughter a lot with her lazy eye problem. Its only drawback is the high subscription price.

We have subscribed to AblyoPlay to try to correct the lazy eye of our son. We are waiting to see the outcome at the next check-up with the eye doctor. The app is weel designed, stable and fluid. The games for my child (5 yr) are pretty funny but it would be good to introduce more (maybe as sumo volley?). It's good to have the option to disable those not suited to his abilities. Good the the reward system.

I started using AmblyoPlay six months ago to help with my lazy eye, and it has been a great experience. The best part is that I can do the exercises at home, and they only take about 30 minutes a day. The games are fun, which makes it easy to stay motivated.

At first, I wasn’t sure if it would work, but after a few weeks, I noticed that my vision was improving. My eyes started working together better, and I could see more clearly. The progress tracking also helped me stay on track and see how much I was improving.

Overall, AmblyoPlay has really helped me, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their vision in a simple and effective way. It’s easy to use, and I’m happy with the results so far.

Interesting, need to test for a few more days. Translation in French could be perfected. Support team is fast.

Ο γιος μου, 12 ετών, οδεύει προς το τέλος της θεραπείας μετά από σχεδόν 6 μήνες κ είναι πολύ ευχαριστημένος με το πρόγραμμα.Τα παιχνίδια του φάνηκαν πολύ ευχάριστα κ δεν τον κούρασαν καθόλου, καθώς υπήρχε ποικιλία. Τον βοήθησαν, όπως μου αναφέρει, στην όραση αλλά κ στον συγχρονισμό χεριού κ ματιού, κάτι που στην αρχή της θεραπείας του ήταν δύσκολο. Το πρόγραμμα του έχει γίνει μια διασκεδαστική κ ωφέλιμη συνήθεια στην καθημερινότητά του!
Το συνιστούμε ανεπιφύλακτα σε όποιον αντιμετωπίζει προβλήματα όρασης συμβατά με αυτήν τη θεραπεία!

J'ai 30 ans, je suis amblyope depuis petite mais jamais vraiment traité, Amblyoplay est ma "dernière" chance avant l'opération.
J'étais très enjouée de commencer la thérapie, même étant adulte, je place beaucoup d'espoir dedans.

1ère remarque négative : la calibration des couleurs.

Les lunettes reçue, je télécharge l'application sur mon ordinateur, et vient le moment de la calibration de couleur : impossible de faire disparaitre totalement le rouge. Le vert pas de soucis, mais impossible pour le rouge.

Je me dis que c'est mon ordinateur le problème, alors j'essaye sur la tablette : c'est encore pire, le vert et le rouge ne disparaissent pas.

Bon je me dis, c'est pas grave, c'est peut être "normal" je vais tenter les exercices quand même.
Il y a des exercices qui passent bien, mais d'autres ou mon oeil droit (le rouge) voit tout ! Ce qui fait que automatiquement je switch vers l'oeil droit uniquement, sans faire travailler le gauche, ce qui pourtant est le but de l'exercice !

J'ai vu qu'il y avait plusieurs cas comme le mien.. Donc ce n'est pas un cas isolé.

2ème remarque négative : support inexistant

J'ai essayé de contacter le support pour ce problème sur le chat sur le site. Malgré qu'il est indiqué que quelqu'un est présent, je n'ai à ce jour pas eu de réponse. D'où l'avis qui peut être m'offrira plus de réponse. Peut être il y a-t-il un moyen de calibrer son écran puis de faire les réglages dans l'application ? On ne saura pas, car pas de réponse...

3ème remarque négative : Aucun retour sur l'amélioration, les statistiques

Les statistiques sont inexistantes. Mis à part les jours ou nous avons fait la thérapie, nous avons un pseudo-graphique qui affiche si la thérapie a été Bien ou Mauvaise : qu'est-ce que ça veut dire ??
On a aucun retour sur ce que font travaillé les exercices, on ne sait pas ce que signifie un Bon entrainement et un Mauvais entrainement..

L'application s'attend juste à ce que nous fassions les exercices, mais je veux comprendre, je veux suivre la progression.. Là.. Il n'y a rien. Et faire confiance aveuglément à 70 euros par mois. C'est non.

Amblyoplay m'a donné de l'espoir, mais dans l'exécution, beaucoup de chose ne vont pas. Et sans réponse, je vais devoir me tourner vers une autre application peut être open-source pour faire les exercices. Au moins, ce sera gratuit.

Il mio strabismo è migliorato tantissimo sin da subito. Ho 32 anni e quando ero bambina non esistevano questi sistemi così efficaci e non ero neanche candidata per l’operazione essendo una deviazione non fissa.
Ho cominciato la terapia su consiglio della mia ortottista e il cambiamento è stato evidentissimo da subito.

We have been using AmblyoPlay for almost 6 months now. The app is so engaging and it has really helped with engagement with the Therapy. To my child, it feels like a game not therapy

I had been determined to find something like amblyopia to receive the vision therapy that I knew in my gut would help me with my amblyopia, I am a 52 yr young women who loves a challenge and when my eye doctor told me last year that nothing could ever correct it and didn't even want to bother with a prescription for glasses and.told me to just keep wearing reader's from Walmart! He underestimated who he was talking to because that day I went in with the knowledge of brain plasticity and Amblyoplay! He was embarrassed as he should have been. So if an ignorant eye doctor tells you the same know that you can improve in just 2 months I literally have 3d vision I'm my near vision and it was so amazing when I saw depth for first time. Repetition Is the key Repetition rewires your brain and that is exactly what Amblyoplay will do! Trust the process.

The app is amazing and it shows good results!

Amblyoplay has been wonderful for our daughter. I do recommend this program for children five and up. We first started at four years old and my daughter was not as receptive, and had sensory issues with putting the 3-D glasses over her prescription glasses. At age 5 she was a lot more receptive to doing the eye therapy. We also purchased 3-D clip on glasses through Amazon, which definitely helped with her sensory issues and awkwardness of it being over her glasses.
The app is super user-friendly, and for the most part my daughter can complete on her own. She is very excited when she sees the progress of her eye becoming stronger! We as parents definitely see improvement!! We try to aim for 30 minutes of training daily. My daughter does have games on the app she prefers over others, but they keep her challenged. She loves the idea of exercising her eye, making it stronger just like any other body part! It's definitely a boost of confidence! We appreciate this app so much we have recommended this to other parents at her school that have children with the same eye condition, they were so grateful!
My daughter hopes to see new games added in the future, otherwise 10 out of 10!

its not easy, but is great

Child feedback that his 3D vision has improved and he can see 3D images better as compared to before the therapy. However, our 3D glasses broke and had to pay for a new one to be shipped over in order to continue with the therapy… hope they can make better quality kids friendly 3D glasses that can last longer.

Excellent program improve my lf lazy eye 2 lines after 3 months of working

My 8 years old daughter is using AmblyoPlay for 3 Months and the doctors on examination were asking me what is she doing, because her eyesight has improved so much, more than in last 3 years. I recommend to everyone with vision problem.

As an adult, I’m not exactly in Ambyloplay's target demographic—it's designed primarily for kids. However, I’ve been looking for a way to train my eyes to help with strabismus and amblyopia, so I gave it a try. Instead of using special glasses, the system recommended I wear an eye patch, which was a bit of a letdown given the hefty €60/month price tag. You'd think they could include an eye patch (which costs only a few cents), but nope! Luckily, my kids had an old pirate eye patch lying around, so I made do.

Comparing it to another health-related gaming product, Perifit (which helps you train your pelvic floor through games), Ambyloplay falls short in several areas. With Perifit, you pay once and gain access to a community and regularly updated games. There’s a much wider variety of games, they’re less frantic (a plus for me), and they offer solid, detailed stats. Ambyloplay, on the other hand, really misses the mark in terms of tracking and feedback. You can do a vision test each week, but the results aren’t explained or compared to previous tests, so you’re left guessing at your progress.

I also don’t understand the gaming system. You get a score after each game, but it seems irrelevant—the important part is that you complete the training to earn diamonds, which you can use to customize your character. Sure, this might be motivating for kids, but it doesn’t do much for me. Plus, the score isn’t saved, so you can’t see how you performed in the past or how you stack up against others. The score seems entirely pointless, which is frustrating.

Overall, while I’ll stick with Ambyloplay for a bit longer due to the lack of alternatives, it’s definitely not worth the subscription price. €8-10 per month would be more reasonable; €60 is just too much. Even my kids, who usually love anything on a screen, find the games boring. That says a lot!

E' stata diagnosticata un'ambliopia a mio figlio di 7 anni, ha iniziato con il classico bendaggio ma non era abbastanza. Ho iniziato ad informarmi in rete per vedere se c'era qualche gioco per pc che sfruttasse la tridimensionalità e stimolasse singolarmente gli occhi e sono venuto a conoscenza di Amblyoplay. Ho effettuato il mese di prova per testare il software e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto. Il kit è arrivato dopo 2 giorni tramite Ups, ho attivato la licenza, installata l'app su Ipad, abbiamo fatto la calibrazione ed il bambino ha iniziato ad usarla. L'app è fatta benissimo, ti guida in ogni passaggio, ti fa fare le pause per riposare gli occhi e in questi 3 mesi non abbiamo mai avuto problemi, anzi l'app si è aggiornata spesso apportando diverse migliorie, in ultimo hanno aggiunto la gestione degli oggetti periferici durante gli esercizi. Il tutto viene rendicontato nei grafici dove puoi vedere se il ragazzo sta lavorando bene o se è stanco o se non ha voglia di esercitarsi, davvero un ottimo supporto alla vista. Infine l'app ha un aspetto videoludico che permette di creare diversi personaggi e potenziarli facendo gli esercizi giornalieri. Il consiglio che posso darvi è di non lasciare niente di intentato e per la salute di mio figlio quello che posso fare lo faccio anche se con dei sacrifici economici. Non abbiamo fatto ulteriori visite di controllo dall'oculista ma posso dirvi che mio figlio si allena effettivamente con i due occhi in modo separato e questo è sicuramente un grande stimolo per il nervo ottico.
