This company is a total fraud. They should not be allowed to operate in Nevada. I have two homes in Henderson insured under company’s best plan for a second year now.renewed because Alex made a sales pitch that we are a local company. We will be at your house within an hour. If you have any problem call me directly etc I did not use them first time. First time that I needed something under home coverage was not only denied after charging $65 as claim filing fee. on 26th April my hot water bursted . I immediately called them and send photos etc. they assigned a claim #726191. A technician ( contractor) came in 2 days - who took pictures and told me he can get the hut water heater installed in 2 days - all I need is insurance approval . I kept getting text messages from the co
Pant that the claim is under review and discussion. I tried calling Alex ( my rep) and Paul Manager/CEO. For all this while week they said they will call me back no one did. I spoke with Ray, James and Kay. My claim was under review by them for 7-10 days. Today Kay called me that the water heater is not covered. So if it was not covered why they charged $65 , why they assigned a claim # and what were they reviewing for all this time . If water heater is not covered why could they not tell me when I first called about ten days ago. I am going to report to BBB ( but they are not a member), now I am going to try to shut down their business as a fraud through Governor’s office.

Took out the Platinum plan as I wanted the best coverage as possible. After a few months, I filed a claim with them over my pool pump. It took over 2 weeks to even get someone out to look at it. The tech that came out had just got the service call two days before and had tried to contact American Home Coverage. They were very unprofessional with the pool tech. In fact, he didn’t even think they were a legit company! This has been going on over 3 weeks. The pool tech has the part and could have replaced it a week ago. American Home Coverage has taken it upon themselves to be the part supplier for all their claims. I have asked to speak to a supervisor and a manager for over a week now. I have called multiple times requesting to do o. They refuse to let me talk to one. This is so infuriating . I will be canceling my policy. I have American Home Shield in my other house and have never had an issue. Stay away from American Home Coverage! Very shady and unprofessional!

Do not even try to get a quote from them. They will spam call and message EVERY day with 100s of different numbers. Have been dealing with spam messages for almost a year no matter what I unsubscribe, say remove me, use national block lists.

Not all home coverage are true. I was told that American Home Coverage covers everything on the Platinum side no matter how old they are. I.switched from American Home Shield to this.company because of a salesman promising me this. Well now this company is telling me that they can't help me because my unit is twenty years.old and they are unable to get the parts. I am 65 years old, disabled, and poor this is why I purchased a home warranty plan. It is going to be 24 degrees on Saturday and low 14. Now I have to worry about being cold, possibly getting sick, and pipes freezing. I live in a house that is 110 years old and this company says they can't cover a unit because it is 20 years old. I am just warning others beware of home warranty salesman who tell u that they cover anything no matter how old it is, they may be lying to u. What an old fool i.am to be so trustworthy. I should have definitely stayed with American Home Shield. Beware people of this company when they tell u that all is covered by American Home Coverage especially if u are a senior struggling to survive. This has been a very emotional situation for.me. I was told by the claims department that a representative would call me back. I have waited for four days.for someone to call back. If i.didnt call them today, who knows when someone would have called me back. If ever for that matter. Just beware of salesman.of companies telling u one thing, and they do another.

Very bad experience, as soon as I had a minor issue their whole attitude changed. They go from nice and patronizing when they try to sell you to dismissive and rude whenever you need help with something. I was shocked at how I was treated and how they spoke to me.

Worst company EVER!! Reported to BBB today. Have been strung along for 5 weeks trying to get my wash machine repaired. With each part they ordered, there are two weeks inbetween with NO communication at all. I only know parts were ordered by calling them. Most recent part came in 12/30 and I’m still waiting for them to send someone out to put in. 6 messages have also been relayed to the Acct Mnger since Friday. No return calls EVER!! Do not use these folks !!!! NOTHING!!! They gladly take your monthly dues but give you NOTHING!!!!

The claims process with this company was simple and responsive! I had someone out to my home within the same day got my dishwasher replaced with the same one I had. Overall great experience!

Be aware of this scam. They sold me their plan with a written email that says "free roof leak coverage" and I signed up. Two months later, I got a roof leak and tried calling them for the warranty claim but no one picked up even after waiting for 30 mins on a call. I kept ion trying for several days and my call was finally picked up. I raised the warranty and they charged me the service fee to send someone to inspect. We were going to get hit with Milton hurricane in 3 days and so I requested them to act fast on it. They sent a technician and sent the company his report. AHC then sent me an email asking me to pay another $575 to diagnose the issue. This wasn't acceptable to me and it was highly frustrated. One day before the Hurricane, AHC sent me an email that they do not cover tile roof. This was never communicated to me so far and I was now in a bad situation to face hurricane with a known roof leak. You can clearly see how AHC simply got away from their responsibility by yet again playing a game around their T&C. I later checked the T&C and it nowhere mentions that tile roof is not covered.
DO NOT rely on this company and rather pay a little extra to a reputed company to bet your lifetime investment of a home.
