They Don't Answer The Phone

Been a policy holder for many years. A. I'm very concerned about the 1-star reviews I've been reading here should I ever make a claim. B. I received their "Privacy Policy" and am trying to call to get off of their share list. The 877 number they provide on their privacy policy puts you through to someone who doesn't know which end is up. They transfer you and put you on hold. The initial message says that the hold is 20 minutes. I'm still on hold 50 minutes later. I've hear someone pick up the call twice, now, and then put the call back on hold before saying anything. They're evading answering the phone. I have to find a different insurance company and cancel this policy. I'm not putting up with this. Something significant needs to be done about these criminal companies who have no problem taking your money and selling your data and not doing their jobs.

My insurance guy is awesome!

My insurance guy is awesome, I have been meaning to email my insurance company for some time now since everything went paperless, I have been carrying an expired Insurance card, not intentionally, but anyway I remembered I wanted to get my current proof of insurance emailed to me so I could save it and have it in my phone. I sent the email at about idk maybe around 4 am, expecting to get my current insurance card on Monday. I can honestly say that I have never experienced this before, insurance representative comply with request ON A SUNDAY! And only a couple hours after I sent the request. It may seem silly to post this , but I'm literally surprised and somewhat blown away that my insurance guy replied with my request so promptly and it is Sunday. David Farizo has made my day quite a pleasant one.

Very mediocre insurance company. Deal with them at your own risk.

Pretty bad. I went with them because they suckered me in with the initial lower rates. But then over time they simply raised them for no reason. Like right now I’m out of the country (and will be for over a year) and asked them to freeze my car coverage. It still costs me over $25/mo for something that they know I won’t be claiming since I’m not using that car. This month they raised it to $36/mo. A total rip off.

On top of that they also lost all of our personal identifying information (SSN, DOB, address, etc) in a data breach. Search their name online followed by “data breach.” Then instead of notifying everyone in an email, they sent it out as a snail mail letter that I never open.

All in all, I don’t know what century they operate from? I asked them multiple times not to send me paper mail (when I’m not in the country) and to use email instead. So what do you know. Every time I check my mailbox it is filled with their snail mail.

Don't do it.

Great company until you have a claim, then they drag their feet, stop responding and really don't do what you've been paying them all along for.. I wouldn't be suckered in with the lower rates because the headaches you will incur for that first claim will make you want to jump off a building.
