The idea of giving help is greatly appreciated. It talk along time to receive a check. I gave page after page of info and was told a monthly figure would be coming soon. It was about 7 months and not the figure I was told. I do appreciate the help I'm getting but it was hard to wait for so long. Made me wonder???

Representative was very helpful and explained everything that I needed to know and provide through the entire process. All the documents I provided were quickly reviewed and I was notified of any additional information required. The process was very thorough and successful. I am very pleased with the results of this program. This program has been extremely helpful an important aid to the care of my 91 year old mother in law. Thank you for caring enough to assist those veterans and their spouses with the aid they earned and deserve. Without your caring team of professionals my loved one would not have ever known of the funds that are available. God bless you in this very worthwhile endeavor.

They worked very hard and got us approved very quickly i so appreciate it som much.

From the first phone call to actually receiving the benefits took about 8 months. The papers spent exactly 6 months in house with the VA. We were not one of the lucky cases that got approval super quick because of the timing. The VA was overwhelmed with dealing the Camp LeJeune cases. This was of no fault of the AVA.
Our experience with AVA was stellar from the start. They were professional, consistant, caring and responsive. I was very overwhelmed when it became obvious that my Dad needed help. When he developed dementia, then fell breaking a hip and arm, I was at my wits end. Dealing with Doctors, nursing facilites and all of the finances was very stressful. AVA took one of my major stressors off my mind. I may have been able to do it by myself, but I am so glad that I had their guidance.

I am so thankful I found American Veterans Aid! They helped me successfully navigate the VA benefits application process which I had tried and failed previously. My mom is now receiving benefits that will help pay for her in-home care and allow her to stay in her home. I am so grateful for the AVA!

We were extremely skeptical of this entire process, we had never heard of the benefit and were not sure if we even qualified. AVA was on top of everything from start to finish. AVA was extremely helpful to my brother and I as we applied for benefits for our father. We started on paperwork by ourselves and soon realized it would be a monumental task. Several neighbors had used AVA with positive results. They know exactly how to complete all the forms correctly and were available to us whenever we contacted them. They were very easy to work with every step of the way.

The guidance we received prior to applying for my husband's veteran's aid and attendance benefit was comprehensive. Because our questions were answered thoroughly as we proceeded through the per-application process, we could proceed with confidence when we submitted his application. My husband received his benefit with no delays. Thank you, AVA.

American Veterans Aid did a great job helping me through every step in the process to apply for survivor benefits for my Mom. I appreciate the care and conscientious support they provided. It was about a five to six month process from start to getting the benefits. The key was the letter of intent at the beginning so that my Mom received benefits dating back to the start. I couldn’t imagine doing this without their support.

However, I knew that our family didn't have the time, expertise or resources necessary to move through the application process without help. After a thorough internet search and meeting with the AVA representative, I felt comfortable enough to move forward. I am SO thankful that we did!

From the beginning, the AVA representatives were fantastic. It was evident they were so experienced - they knew exactly what documents we needed to complete and the best way to share information to ensure a smooth approval process. We felt supported every step of the way. It was also comforting to know that there was an accredited VA claims agent who would be reviewing our application. Everyone I worked with at American Veterans Aid was caring and knowledgeable. They were very communicative every step of the way. As I worked through the process, I had access to phone numbers and emails of the people I was working with. I can’t imagine having to navigate this process without them!

It was a lot of information gathering but I was guided every step of the way. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Truly their fee was the best money I ever spent-my loved one is now receiving her aid and it is extremely helpful
