SCAM ARTISTS AND THIEVES
These ppl are scam artists. I bought a vip membership online, which clearly specified that it included GUEST PRIVILEGES, only to show up for the first time and be told that that did not apply at my location. (The website expressly stated that I would get guest privileges AFTER I selected my home location.
I told them to downgrade me, and they said I had to pay a DOWNGRADE FEE, even though I only signed up for VIP due to this misrepresentation.
I refused. I talked to the manager, and he refused to waive it. I had him talk to the owner, and he also refused to waive it. I told them forget it, I was canceling, and challenged the credit card transaction— and I won. But then they sent the “debt” to a debt collection agency. I had to hire a lawyer at that point, because the debt collection an agency wouldn’t even put me on the phone with someone with the power to cancel the debt.
My credit was damaged. And only after all that did they back down.
These ppl are criminals. Stay away.
