Valves arrived promply, securely packed. They were replacements for the original Fender valves. On their advice I bought one alternative valve that was supposedly better than the original. It was easy to fit them and they work brilliantly with a crackle free warm sound. They give a new voice to my vintage amp. Well worth the cost.

I went to this company for replacement valves for my 1970 Vox AC30 because I had messaged them for help and Barry Tyler got straight back to me. Sure, you might save a little money elsewhere, but Barry has been amazing.
The amp hadn’t been played for maybe 30 years, but he sorted out the correct valves and followed up with more emails to help on correct fitting.
It turned out there was another problem with the Vox and he even rang me at the weekend within only a few minutes of me letting him know to offer further advice.
It’s the kind of service you don’t get on eBay or other online sellers and worth its weight in gold.
Don’t go anywhere else, is my best advice

A truly great company of which we see less and less these days.

I had a series of questions and sent them an e-mail on a Sunday, 2 days before Christmas and their Service Manager Barry Tyler answered within 5 minutes with a perfect explanation for all my questions. These days I've gotten used to the fact that if you ask more than one question to a company you almost never get answers for them all, sometimes you get answers to questions you never even asked. But this was not the case with Ampvalves UK. I cannot recommend this company more.

This is my second purchase from Amp Valves. Both times, orders were processed and dispatched in a timely manner. Valves really well packed so even survived transport to the Isle of Skye. I have to say the JJ valves sound super sweet. Many thanks!

Just found this company, they are fantastic! They have a website that’s easy to navigate, and they are fast & professional. Communication amongst their team is excellent, I made a small mistake on my order and they sorted it out simply & quickly. So refreshing to get a quality service of this caliber. I have absolutely no qualms about ordering from them again when I need new valves.
