I feel very fortunate to have Anderson Woolven looking after both my company accounts and personal self-assessments.

I am a big supporter and regular user of AI, but my recent experience reminded me that there are some things where proper human knowledge, judgement and experience still matter enormously.

I recently went through the closure of a company, which involved a number of complications, including assets, overseas trading, VAT, corporation tax, adjustments to self-assessments and various final liabilities. I tried putting different scenarios and questions into AI, but no matter how much information I gave it, I still could not get the certainty or confidence I needed.

That is exactly why I wanted to take the time to recognise Steve, Sarah and Ashleigh.

They really take the time to understand the full situation, talk things through properly and work together to find the best outcome for their clients. You get the sense that they genuinely sit down, discuss what is needed and bring their individual strengths together.

They are also incredibly responsive. No question ever feels too small or silly, and they always come back quickly with clear, helpful answers. That makes a huge difference when you are dealing with complicated tax and company matters and simply want to know that everything is being handled properly.

For me, the biggest thing is the peace of mind. There is too much at stake with company taxes, personal tax, liabilities and business closures to rely on automated answers alone. Having experienced people who understand the detail and genuinely care about getting it right is invaluable.

In a time when so many services are becoming automated and impersonal, it is refreshing to deal with real people who know their clients and are always there when needed.

I cannot recommend Steve, Sarah, Ashleigh highly enough. They are professional, approachable, responsive and, most importantly, people you can trust.
