It's an easy to use platform and I liked it but the price increases are unsustainable when it's pretty simple to use a spreadsheet and fill in a tax return in manually.

Excellent record keeping and tax return programme
Have used Apari for over 3 years and find the programme for my record keeping and tax return very easy to use. I am able to check my categories of expense etc with ease and when I have had questions their support team have always been speedy and very helpful accepting my lack of computer skills and accounting knowledge. Highly recommend.

Best MTD compliant software for joint ownership landlords
Apari is the only software I can find that does all the following for landlords:
i. deals perfectly with joint ownership
ii. is fully MTD compliant
iii. does not require to be submitted via an accountant
iv. works for non-property trading income streams
This week I have been testing out a competitors product. The competitor has a better GUI interface than Apari, but it is not MTD compliant and does not allow non-property income streams while being far more expensive than Apari.

We know the admin that comes with being a landlord can be more complicated compared to other self employed businesses so we have designed our software to ensure the process for landlords is simple and easy allowing you to keep track of individual property profit and loss as well as simplifying the process for jointly owned properties.

Great support from Anish in video call
I just had a Google Meets conversation with Anish from Apari support. He not only managed to answer all of my questions but also showed me how to do other things with the software to make the process easier. I now feel confident about using the software to record my accounts going forward. In addition Anish was very patient because I was unfamiliar with Google Meets video calls and so a bit slow sharing documents. I even accidentally closed our meeting at one point but he took it all in his stride. I hope if I have to contact support again then Anish will be the person who helps me. Thank you.
