We absolutely love the BETTERDOG online puppy training course!!

It has helped us get to know and understand our puppy, Ziggy (4 months), far better than we ever would have on our own, both in terms of how he’s developing, what to expect at different stages and how to adapt our approach and expectations, and our ways to communicate with Ziggy (and, importantly, understanding how he communicates with us). As a result, the whole family have an incredible bond with him.

The bite-sized lessons are a big part of why it works so well. You can work through the course at your own pace without ever feeling overwhelmed, and I often go back and rewatch a video when I need a refresher.

Jo is a real expert, and she also makes the videos enjoyable to watch and listen to. You can tell she knows her stuff, but it never feels heavy or preachy.

If you have a new puppy, I’d highly recommend this course. Five stars from us (and Ziggy!)

I’m two weeks into the puppy program.
It’s been ideal .Already our pup has learned the basics in just two weeks. Although sometimes ive not quite understood the theory behind the task . Its definitely made my pup happy secure . And pretty compliant .

I cannot recommend Jo-Rosie’s Puppy Development System highly enough. If you’re thinking about getting a puppy, have recently welcomed one into your home, or simply want to understand your dog better, this is a resource I genuinely believe every puppy owner should have access to.

In my opinion, Jo has created something truly special. The Puppy Development System is a genuinely exciting and innovative approach to sharing essential knowledge with puppy owners, and I believe it has the potential to change the way we educate and support people raising puppies.

As a dog trainer, I see firsthand how much conflicting, confusing and often outdated advice puppy owners are bombarded with. What I absolutely love about this system is that Jo has taken incredibly important information about puppy development, behaviour and training and made it accessible, understandable and, most importantly, practical for everyday dog owners.

What makes Jo such an exceptional educator is her ability to take complex behavioural science and explain it in a relatable way. She doesn’t simply tell people what to do; she explains why they’re doing it, and I think that is incredibly important.

For me, one of the biggest challenges in the dog training industry is getting the right information into the hands of owners early enough, ideally before problems have even had a chance to develop. This system has the potential to do exactly that.

I genuinely believe this is a fantastic resource for anyone welcoming a puppy into their home, whether it’s their first dog or their fifth. There’s always something new to learn, and understanding the dog in front of you is, in my opinion, the foundation of responsible dog ownership.

I would love to see every puppy owner starting their journey with this level of knowledge and understanding. Just imagine the difference that could make to both dogs and their owners!

The Puppy Development System is easily the best content you'll find online for raising your new puppy.

I've bought 'perfect puppy' courses online before for much more money, and this outshines them all by a long way. There is absolutely loads of content in the course, but it's all in really easy-to-follow bite-size chunks; it takes you through everything you need to know from the first weeks, puppy biting and toilet training and obedience foundations. Alongside the network of approved trainers to support people in person, it provides the perfect overall package of ethical, modern systems for raising wonderful dogs.
