messy dysfunctional operation -- no customer service either
On May 4th I ordered four blouses from the clothing store called April Cornell ($394.00) and when given a choice to make about shipping method, the kind and the speed, I chose to pay for UPS delivery to my home, for which the charge was an extra twenty-six dollars and thirty-five cents, bringing the total amount charged on my Visa card on May 4th to $420.35.
I provided the specifics of my physical home address for the UPS delivery, and UPS deliveries are made here all the time. Because April Cornell requires it, I also filled in an extra section wanting the specifics of my billing address, which is different from my home. My billing address is a post office box in a different city.
For whatever reason I am unable to understand, April Cornell decided to take the money I was charged for UPS service delivery, yet send my package via postal mail. This means that the address label they created for my expensive order was incorrect and undeliverable. This is their error. I live in a small town where the mail is not delivered to our homes. My mailing/billing address is entirely different, a post office box in another nearby city. When the post office received a box that they could not deliver, they returned it to the sender. I never got my blouses; they were returned to the company, April Cornell. So much for paying for UPS delivery!
I called April Cornell early this morning and waited on hold for a long time hoping to speak to a service rep and finally left a voice mail asking for their help. I explained the problem and asked if they would please fix the error and I also asked that they please return my call. I spoke my phone number into the message. From my point of view, it was a $420.35 order bouncing around in some sort of limbo.
No one called. This company did not help me in any way.
I sent April Cornell an email repeating all this, including my order number and the fact that no one did me the courtesy of helping me get what I paid for -- 4 blouses and swift UPS delivery service. This incorrect address label was their mistake, not mine, and it seems to be a bad business practice to advertise and charge for an expensive UPS delivery fee but override my choice and send via postal mail.
In their complete silence, there is no way for me to know if they are understaffed, poorly trained, disreputable or simply feckless about shipping costs, but I do know that they undermine their own credibility by complete absence of customer service and by sending my order to the wrong address. I have no other choice but to request prompt refund.
I can't recommend this company to anyone.

Sizes are way off…My order took nearly 2 weeks to arrive…
My order took nearly 2 weeks to arrive and never had an actual “tracking number” with the delivery company. When I emailed customer service, there was no response. I ordered 3 pieces. None were a good fit. One jumpsuit ordered in size xs, was huge on me. When I held it up it looks like a size large from other stores. You have to pay for shipping initially (regardless of the amount of money your order is) and then you have to pay for return shipping. I tried to call in to their customer service about the return, they don’t answer and say they are receiving higher than normal calls. Left a message they wasn’t returned.

I had to ship it myself and am still waiting for my $168 refund.
My emails have not been acknowledged.
I will not shop here again.
Disapointing
I ordered a dress like tunic which is good for my " petite size": it was the right / same color as online..quality is good: 100% Cotton. Embroidery are nice.the price : good: was on special: buy 1 dress get 2nd one 50 % off.the 2nd dress : was supposed to be : sungold color .picture seemed a bright yellow..but on delivery : dull yellow color.quality of fabric seems ok.embroidery are nice.i wrote 3 reviews about this " dull colored " dress which never appeared! The positive review about the 1 st dress did appear.i did email them about this: why don't you allow my review to which I didn't get answer ..a bit dishonest on their part..so to conclude: beware about colors when you order at April Cornell.Sizing is good though..
Very disappointed in the dress
Very disappointed in the dress. Picture shows capped sleeve. Dress I received is sleeveless. I reached out, comes back not able to contact. Tried chat. It won't go through. Glad I ordered only one dress, to check them out. NO more for me. Also, very thin fabric. Cost and product don't match up.

I was looking for a more high end tablecloth for my kitchen table. I saw the tablecloths on April Cornell and I knew this was what I was looking for. There wasn’t any problem with shipping or receiving what I ordered. I received the table liens and the cushion covers and they are gorgeous. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again. I ordered a fall/winter design and I’m looking forward to ordering my Spring linens from this company.
Decent quality
I have ordered a few items and they have arrived promptly. Sometimes have noticed some minor flaws in garments such as fraying but the flaws are minor and for the price definitely within reason. Items fit true to size
Tablecloth sewn with 3 different unmatched pieces
I purchased a round tablecloth and received a product that had 3 pieces of fabric sewn together with no attempt to match the pattern. Of the many round tablecloths I own, this is the only one that has multiple pieces (I didn't order a quilt!).
On a positive note, customer service returned my call, waived the $14 return fee and provided me with a prepaid return label for UPS. The refund was processed within a few days. I'm very satisfied with their customer service (I was initially skeptical due to the other complaints) but am still disappointed in the quality of the product.

I bought 3 pairs of different stockings and weigh 145 lbs. I looked at the reviews before I bought them and one person said that she weighed 145lbs and bought the l/xl size. I am so glad I read the review because I bought the l/xl size and they fit perfectly!
NON EXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
I was excited to find a locally based cottagecore brand but they are so disappointing. I received a defected product in my order so I reached out to customer service before doing any kind of return (as suggested on their website). It has been over 1 month since I have written to them with zero response.
No matter how good your products are, if your customer service is shit you are going to lose sales.
Do not buy from this place, do not encourage poor CS and brand management.
customer service impossible to reach
I've been a long time customer, and they do carry good products, hence the 2 stars rather than 1. But recently I have only received a partial fulfillment of an order and have waited a month to receive the rest. I have emailed and left messages for customer service and they do not return my calls or messages. No live agent can be reached on their customer service line either.
I have found the dresses to fit…True to size. I wear an XL but I love the dress loose I gather them with the tie most have hane an looks great and fits fits beautifully.
I have found the dresses to fit beautifly and the fabric is very nice. The fabric doesn't shrink but best to hang dry. I have also bought many tunics which run a tiny bit smaller than the dresses. Every thing that I have purchased I have been pleased. Will continue to buy!

I ordered some items from April Cornell 1 July I have not received any of the items they gave me a UPS tracking number and according to the tracking number, the package is stuck somewhere in limbo. I don’t understand why it’s taking so long to receive packages. I have ordered from other companies at the same time and I have received my items I will never use April Cornell again and from some of the reviews that I have read seems like people are very disappointed with this company years ago. It was a great company but today it’s not so please find somewhere else to order your purchases because April Cornell has went down the tubes no longer a good company.
If you buy anything consider it final!
If you buy anything, you should consider it a final sale with no returns. They tell you a return request is accepted and they will follow with an e mail to print a label. Well two weeks later and multiple requests from customer service...no label. I consider myself stuck with a nightgown that was never even removed from the package because the color was so awful!

So disappointed. I am a long-time customer of April Cornell, but I purchased curtains last month which were the wrong color. I returned them via UPS the following day and over a month later, still have not received my refund of over $300. I've left multiple phone calls and emails and have had no response. I wonder if this company is out of business. No one picks up the. phone...ever!
Terrible exchange service
Ordered two items, one was way too big and the company wants you to purchase another one in order to do the exchange or pay to ship it back for a refund, will never buy from them again and I’ve spent over $600.00 with this company on multiple orders
April Cornell does not care about customers! Run away!
I paid over $100 for cotton pajamas from April Cornell. They arrived and there was only one pocket on one side of the pants. I have been trying to reach customer service to return them But so far no luck. I have made phone calls. I have sent emails. I have sent text messages. They could not care less about whether or not my purchase was correct. This is a horrible company! Do not buy anything from them!

Ordered a dress, received it, didn't fit, tried to pull it up to send back ( like other reviews comes up non-existant. Tryed to call, said they would get back to me, very busy, wanted my patience. It's been almost 30 days to return , can't get anyone. I wouldn't order from this Company. Customer service does not exist. AI is better than this
