Great technicians doing the great work, communication and technology are bad
Great technicians doing the great work! However...
The company seems to be on a quest to make it harder and harder to communicate with them:
- No workable email support (only by phone)
- No flexibility in scheduling (only plus/minus 2 days)
- They do not seem to read any optional comments, e.g. whether you happen to be away
- The website has been getting worse and worse in terms of accessibility, etc.
Recommend if you are a kind of "set and forget" person. Do not recommend until they enhance their technology and communication.

No ant or insect issues since the have been treating our house. Did under our kitchen sink also and got rid of a small ant concern before it developed into more.

Better Communication Needed Well a month ago my Aptive service went…
Well a month ago my Aptive service went very well and the technician did a great job spraying my house property, sweeping out spider webs, and placing bug/mouse traps near the entry points of my garage. However, they had notified me that they would be servicing my property again today (6/12/26), but they FTA'd (failed to appear). This unpredictable service is what caused me to cancel my monthly subscription a couple of years ago so it looks like I'll be doing that again.
I stand corrected because an Aptive technician ultimately sent me an email around 1730 hours advising he was on his way to my home to provide treatment. He did arrive and applied spraying around the perimeter of my house. I did let him know that I didn't appreciate not receiving some timeframe to expect his arrival because I did not like having to be home all day to awaite his arrival. He apologized for the lack of better communication and said he had saved my house as his last treatment because it was close to where he lived.
In the past, Aptive would normally give me a timeframe of 0800-1200, or 1300-1700 hours so I would make sure I was home during those hours. Not having this information this time meant I had to make sure I was home all day.

Friendly and Expert Technicians
Eli and his helper arrived on time, explained to me what pests found, and answered all my questions. They swept away all webs, and changed my glue traps. He sent pictures of all the areas that were treated.

Exceptional Communication and Service
Aptive Pest Control technicians are VERY good at communicating pre- and post-service with excellent solicitation of special service needs and recommendations for improved pest control. We have pretty severe spider webs, and they are very good at de-webbing our decking and outdoor furniture, saving me a TON of time and effort. We've just added mosquito control (by upgrading to their Premium plan) and I look forward to more time outside in the warm evenings this summer.

Last service did damage to my property…
Last service did damage to my property with no response from tech after two request
Opened report on 800 number with commitment to hear back in 24-48 hours and at 72 called them back still with no response
Pretty pathetic customer care!!

It would be nice if they would show up when they are supposed too. The rat trap is empty. no bait...spiders are having a field day also...

Techs are great but scheduling by corporate office is terrible …
The technicians who come are always professional and ask about issues, addressing all my concerns. I’m giving 3 stars because I’m a bit disappointed with the scheduling process. First of all when I signed up I was led to believe service was monthly. It wasn’t until 6 months after signing up that I was told visits are fewer during fall and winter. I was having issues with rats and ants in January. Someone came on 1/27/26. I had no service in February, March or April. I finally went online to schedule myself and someone came on 5/13/26. Three and a half months had passed since previous visit. I just don’t think I’m getting the number of services I should for $155/month.
