Appreciate the email notice from Aptive about a week before scheduled service date. If inside treatment needed or wanted this allows time to reschedule and / or time to move furniture away from baseboards & windows etc prior to arrival.
On day of treatment Tech sends a text about 30 minutes prior to arrival & follows-up with text upon arrival. If treatment only requested for outside areas, no need to be home.
Techs are always friendly, courteous & professional. Efficiently perform and explain upon arrival each treatment which varies for each season.
Follow-up from both the tech (text) & email from Active, list all the areas where service was performed along with photos of the different areas of applied treatments.

At some previous visit a tech had t removed the bait trap under our shed without notification and this time the tech no only trudged through the snow to do the work but also came back to replace the missing trap as the work had been done before I could request it while on site. Courtney did great work

Scheduling is never clear until the tech is on their way. Doesnt allow for considerate planning on our part. Also, this time tech only did around the garage. Didnt check in with us. I was sitting by a window and never saw them walk by.

They show up like clockwork every month. They do a thorough job and address any problem areas every time. The provide a written report of their visit along with photos to back it up. Reasonable pricing too.

I like the company but they went up in price by almost $25 a visit/per month. In that case I'm debating on canceling the service or not:-(

This young company is impressive in that thus far, they do what they say they will do, at the time scheduled. They are also very good at follow-up, including written descriptions and photos. This makes our experience with them more meaningful and concrete. We were skeptical at first, since they came to us via a door-to-door solicitation (usually a no-no for us). But the staff we have encountered seem to know their "stuff" and have so far given us good service -- they come when scheduled and do the work they've described. These are qualities hard to find these days amongst independent contractors.

Despite explicit instructions not to use pesticides, the company destroyed my pollinator habitat by not informing the workers. This is on the company, not the person who destroyed my yard. Thousands of dollars and years of work to rebuild nature were destroyed in a morning by a careless and toxic company

I've tried to cancel several times and they keep coming back. I turned the guy away the second time he came and he said no problem. I'm now on disability and can't afford it. If I can't cancel in person and have it be done, that's just bad business.

These guys are great! We moved to our new home, and a sales rep came to our door within the first few days. There is always such a bad reputation for them, but he was so polite, and he was really helpful with what he was advising would be best for our yard.
I live next to a stream, and he had anticipated that that would be a big area that bugs would congregate from. The first visit I did not ask them to do anything extra with the misquitos and wow they were bad! The next visit I asked them if they could do something specifically for the mosquitos and they placed something on the fence and after that the mosquitos weren't nearly as bad, and that was in August. I love how they go around the house to knock down all the spider webs.
Also, everytime they come, they will text you before to let you know that they are on their way, and they always ask to speak with you directly for any concerns you may have before they get started.
We haven't had any issues with bugs inside our house, but I had read in the policy I signed that they will come out again for free if the bugs you requested they paid special attention to were still causing an issue.
The most reassuring part for me is that they don't do anything to eradicate bees. I am a big bee person, so I appreciate their their chemicals are not intended to kills any bes because they are vital for our survival
For the service, I definitely think it is a reasonable price.
