We tried every dog food known to humankind -- including homemade, but this is the only one our picky dog will eat. It has great ingredients and I believe it's great nutrition. Opening the packages is messy and gross, however. I wish there was a better way to package them. I also find their website finicky when I try to modify my subscription. Still, I'm so glad to be able to get this food!

A Pup Above has helped my dog get to a healthy weight. Plus he loves it! He’s been eating A Pup Above for about five years now and always gets excited for his dinner.

I have five dogs of my own, and I have focused on using only fresh food for several years now. All the other brands out there are very liquidy and not full of meat as they promise. A pup above goes above and beyond. It’s food that my picky dogs eat and yes, it is a little more expensive, but you’re actually getting real food for them and a lot more meat than the competitors.

I love that there are no seed oils and no additives and my now 15-year-old dog has been reversing in age as a result of using this food. He had a liver issue and was also diagnosed with a mild heart murmur and ever since using this food he has reversed in age. The doctor say he’s probably biologically eight years old. This is the only food that you will want to buy your loved ones! Highly highly highly recommend.

My pup didnt like one of the recipes but the rep that reached out took care of us quickly and now my pup will have the recipe she loves.

My dog is SUPER picky and she seems to like this food better than most. We have gone for 2 months feeding beef and pork. (That is a record for her.) She is allergic to turkey and chicken. The first few orders were great! But I had an issue with the pork in my last few orders. There were bone fragments and a few tough pieces in the pork patties. She would have choked on a few of the bone fragments!! So now I carefully dig through everything before giving her the food. The beef patties have been fine. I would love it if they had LAMB patties as well... since my dog is limited on what proteins she can eat. I would also like a text when my order arrives. Maybe I just don't have something set up correctly. I will keep ordering to see if maybe the bone fragment issues will go away. Otherwise, this seems to be a great product!

We've been feeding A Pup Above to our two French bulldogs for over two years now. The quality is top notch and there are many great recipes that we rotate to provide variety. Our pups LOVE them all! The auto ship is very convenient and I love that I can change the varieties in each order if I want. A+! Thank you A Pup Above!

My new little pup loves the puppy food and my two senior dogs who are very finicky, love the variety of flavors in the dog food. I mix them with some dry kibble and they clean their bowls at every meal!

Do not use their website. Promised codes don’t work and they NEVER return emails. Good luck canceling a subscription or getting a refund if your dog doesn’t like it. They don’t respond to email but spam you with marketing emails several times a day. Very questionable company.

Prompt customer service. Love the product but the shipping carrier is mediocre at best.

Tito is new to fresh food, so I tried the best seller variety pack. He wasn’t the biggest fan of the turkey or beef, but he loved the pork and chicken. The pup guarantee replaced the flavors he preferred over the ones he didn’t. Great customer service! Now I feel confident Tito enjoys his food. He even sits by wining while waiting on it warm up!

We took the decision to changed our dogs food from dry to gently cooked and after a lot of research we decided to try with A Pup Above.
They both love it, either the pork or fish but I decided to go only with fish as the other has more fat that you can see in the package. We had to do some adjustments at the beginning but now they are fine.
I only would like to have more live support when questions arise or sooner replies in social media.

Customer service is great. My pup loves the food minus the peas. Every time she picks out the peas! It’s hilarious.

The food is very good my dog Cena enjoyed it at first, but she’s not eating it now. But we did just move so it might be a settling in situation. I do have a comment though it would be nice if you cut the packages in half. Cena seems to eat the first half but when the second half sits in the refrigerator, she doesn’t seem to like it I’ve thrown a lot of it away. But it’s a fabulous product. I am a chef and I see the quality that’s put into it. I would recommend Pup Above. It’s just that Tina’s not eating it right now, but I don’t think it has anything to do with the quality of the food.

My furbabies favorite meals are Beef Stew and Turkey Palwella. I use these tastey toppers over their dry kibble and the benefits are amazing..
This food has made my dogs healthier, no more tummy issues, better breath, their coats are so shiny!
We had a shipping issue 2 weeks ago, and Bianca addressed it immediately. Food arrived promptly and no extra charges on my end.
You just need to try it, you're dogs will thank you!

Quality control is my main issue.
-There isn't consistency in cooking the dog food. Most of the time the food is overly cooked and hard to break up
-I have found 3 bones in the dog food. I have sent you a picture of them, The bones seem to be consistent in shape and size with one end of the bone very sharp and pointed.
- More often than not I will find any vegetables in a one lb meal packet.
-Recently you have changed how you pack a 7 lb bag of food. The five bags for dog food that are placed at the bottom of the bag, standing up instead lying them flat all freeze together. Very inconvenient to have to defrost all 5 bags of food in order to separate them.
-On the positive side, shipping has improved. OnTrac use to leave my box in the drive way, rain or shine, not the front door. They had shorted me a couple time the amount of bags that were to be shipped.
