Con artists. Liars and cheats. Gone missing with my life funds. Appalling stay clear of the Williamsons. No conscience, their time will come.

Made money from scamming others with 79th Group
Stuart Williamson from APW looks helpful and friendly but is nothing more than a wolf in sheep's clothing. Advised us to invest in 79th Group, and when it all went bust, he disappeared. The police should investigate the role of these introducers and he should be thrown behind bars, along with the Websters, whom he says he knows.

I was sold Godwin bonds and the company has gone into administration. It appears those who recommended the bond received high commission. Very disappointing. Avoid.

Stuart Williamson was introduced to me by a colleague and I was impressed by his personal and friendly approach. Rather than than communicate by email, Stuart would always call or arrange a Zoom call - a lovely approach or so I naively believed. My parents had recently died and so I had a small inheritance to invest. My plan had been to look at buying a property but Stuart convinced me that he could make my money do more for me and convinced me both to invest in a new property through Prosperity Wealth in Sheffield and to take out loan notes at high return with an organisation called 79th. After a few months I also withdrew my savings from a safe but low return investment and Stuart helped me to invest these in 79th and Goodwin.

Since April, it has become clear that both Goodwin and 79th were little more than elaborate Ponzi schemes and both are now in administration with 79th being investigated by police. At the first sniff of trouble, Stuart vanished. He stopped responding to calls and messages and I was fobbed off with a minion who knew nothing of me or the case. Since then the company has gone dark and refused to reply to communication. Administrators have made clear that introducers like APW were pocketing huge commissions and it seems more than possible that they were colluding with 79th in scamming customers.

My savings and inheritance have gone courtesy of this bunch of dishonest charlatans and I’m writing this review in the hope of steering others away so that the same does not happen to you.

Appalling candidate experience - they also keep removing my reviews whenever I try to give details but I will say one thing; if you see a position on LinkedIn or any other website with them luring you to Malaysia - Stay Clear!

Really poorly run and atrociously poor communication, and clearly from the other reviews the rot runs deep

Biggest mistake of my life. APW senior manager lured me in to an investment opportunity. Turns out it was a giant Ponzi scheme. Look up 79th group, this is who APW introduced to many investors taking a big slice of the money raised for 79th. It's disappeared and APW managers gone silent. Expect the police investigation (operation mold - city of London police) to start to uncover APW as well. Utter scum.

As an expat I was looking for investment opportunities, APW introduced me to 79th group. After one month the company (79th group) went into administration. APW's COO was the introducer and assured me he knew them well and it was a good investment. APW will have made a significant sum from the broker / introducer fees and the least they could do is give their cut to the vicitims of the suspected 79th group fraud. It stinks to be honest and APW look pretty suspicious in all of this. Stay well clear.

Introducer for 79th Group, in administration and under investigation for suspected widespread fraud by City of London Police. Claim to have known the Websters, directors of 79th Group, for 20 years. Callum, COO, made serious misrepresentations - both before and after Police investigation initiated late February 2025. All leading to significant write-offs for investors, as confirmed by administrators. Callum and APW continue to post investment advice on social media, including LinkedIn and Instagram. To be avoided!

Do not get involved with or take advice from APW. I and many others were introduced to an investment opportunity with a company called 79th group who are under investigation by the city of London police for fraudulent activities. APW acted as the third party introducers, their staff including the COO Callum continued to facilitate payments and not update Investors even after the initial police investigation announcement. They are complicit in this scandal.

As an expat, investing felt scary and overwhelming at first, but Callum made the entire process so much easier. From our first conversation, he took the time to understand my goals and explained the ins and outs of property investments in a way that was clear and accessible. His patience and expertise, really stood out. I couldn’t recommend him and the team at APW enough!

Surprised! I had been scouting around for services for property purchase back in the UK,

APW offered an excellent service throughout, very transparent and honest, will use again and would recommend to friends and family.

Reached out to me while in HK, really know what they’re talking about. Basically held my hand through the mortgage process, all the way into exchange. Been a good couple of years now, looking to buy my second buy-to-let through them.

First met Stuart who guided me through some of their projects at the time in 2022. Initial chat was by online and he referred me to some mortgage brokers in UK who may have assisted. I was 65 at the time so did not wish to 'borrow' to invest so I asked for some investment 'vehicles' that would take smaller amounts without borrowing..

They then invited me to an event in the Capital Club in Dubai , where I was introduced to some of their projects and met Callum (son of Stuart).

Initially, I invested a relatively small amount with one of their recommendations and all aspects of the process went very smoothly.

I then increased my stake and have had 6 figure amounts ++ (£) and to date all interest payments have been on time.

I never felt pressure and I am always happy to introduce them to my friends and business colleagues at the Capital Club where people can make their own minds up of what product will suit them.

Different people have different requirements...

I am now 'cashing in' these original investments and APW have steered me to new alternatives for me to
use as I approach retirement.

I have used their services since 2022...
