I have recently completed the 4 Day VRAY NEXT for SketchUp online course and the expertise and guidance from Dan has been excellent. The tuition was delivered in a focused and engaging manner and any questions we had were answered with a comprehensive explanation even after the course finished. The course material was well thought out and made to suit our individual needs if we had any project-specific queries. Fantastic 'bitesize' Sketchup course today with Dan - Modelling with Photography. As a fairly experienced Sketchup user, Dan was able to show me new techniques and pluggins which will be a massive game-changer for my workflow. He is a great teacher, and very patient - even when I go off at a tangent! Thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend. Who knew that Zoom would be perfect for this type of thing!

I have just completed a 3 day on-line course for the Access into Sketchup with Dan Stone. This was a truly excellent experience with very expert guidance into a powerful and intuitive programme. I started a complete novice and come away with the ability to start 3-d modelling. Dan's teaching and guidance was excellent with his ability to hone in on my own particular needs whilst ensuring I completed the whole course understanding all the new concepts, ideas and tools. I can't wait to get modelling.

Today I completed the new “shaping your topography” course, for something that is quite complex it is made so easy and clear. Making the transition from 2d contours or datum number to a 3D topography model was something I thought only the pros could do but after completing this course I can confidently say I can do it To :). Dan is a great guy and a great teacher, nothing is to much trouble and he can answer any questions you have, so pleased I took this course and will definitely be booking on the other courses ASAP to grow my knowledge further. Great course!

When I attended the course I had no knowledge of Sketchup, I have come away from the course being able to make a model and use various tools. The course is really well taught and gives you the opportunity for one on one learning as well as learning within a group. The support you are offered after the course is great too!

Thank you for a really engaging and informative training course. Having self taught myself some basics, Dan took the time to establish what I had learnt and what I needed to work on. There are many facets to this course and yes, there are many other worlds within SketchUp to explore, but you can now be productive in a reasonably short time. There is a path for everyone.

Great introductory course, or even good to do if you have tried to self teach yourself in the basics some time ago (to make sure you have taught yourself the right way!). Dan was very helpful and happy to tailor things to meet your specific learning needs.

The two day introductory course was excellent. Dan is a great teacher and we all had an immediate rapport as a group. Most of the attendees had some previous experience of either Autocad or SketchUp which enabled us to move through the course at a similar speed. We were shown how to use the main tools and functions and then proceeded to model a house together in order to get our process in the right sequential order. By the end of the course we were able to create our own fly throughs which was great. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone who is looking to develop their SketchUp skills or iron out any bad habits!

I would highly recommend Archilime SketchUp Academy. I was very excited upon the prospect of learning from a team of young and talented experts in their field and I was not disappointed.
With guidance from very knowledgeable trainer, Dan, this professionally set up and well-delivered introductory course was intense and challenging as well as greatly enjoyable.
The course is run with a small group of participants, giving plenty opportunity for the trainer to answer all individual queries and work through any issues with the learners and adjust to their learning styles.
Myself being dyslexic as well as English not being my first language I often ask more questions than your usual student, Dan has handled it with great patience, explaining a task that I found particularly problematic several times until we were both satisfied with both my understanding and my execution of the task.
The syllabus was structured in a clear manner, with helpful learning materials provided.
Upon completion of the course I feel confident to continue work with 3D modelling and I am looking forward to more courses with Archilime Academy to further these skills.

Would highly recommend taking a course from this experienced team. Dan was knowledgeable, patient and a great teacher. They truly cared that people got the most from the course and went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was satisfied. The small class size meant that Dan was able to give a lot of time individual support. He kept track of our different interests/professions and made a point of emphasizing certain aspects that would be particularly relevant or useful to us.

I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 days for this course, It was friendly and informative. There was always opportunities to ask questions, I completed the course and feel inspired and pleased with learning new skills. I feel that there is a real connection and understanding from the course provider. The provider made it feel personable and there was always transparency with what we were doing. Would definitely recommend!

Having never used a modeling program before, I was unsure whether the course would be beyond my capabilities. However Dans clear, consice explanations along with his patience made it much easier to understand and use the program.
His teaching methods adapted to the different people in the room, offering help in alternative ways depending on how someone learns more effectively.
The two day course is a lot of information to retain, but with regular breaks and practice sessions, alongside a helpful guide, it becomes easier to understand and very satisfying!
I would recommend this course to a broad range of people, as the skills taught are a useful tool which can be applied to many different types of work, and a good foundation for any progression with modelling software.
I have left feeling comfortable enough to tackle some simple modelling work and look forward to becoming more adept with the program.
