Lost my server. They said it was a bad hard drive but the issue was I lost it in my config window I could still log in and play. Instead they loaded up a new server and said sorry for your lost. After I called them on thier BS they shut down the IP address so I could no longer access my game. Do people fall for this BS talk still?
They offered me a free week. Then 2 weeks. Why would I want 2 weeks of shoddy service? After leaving this review they then told me its not fair of me to give a bad review for things out of thier control. Sorry but lying about bad hardware is in their control. So is redundancy. How all my info is just on one hard drive with no data back up is amazing. Exactly how many other people lost their games because of this 1 hard drive OR was this just an excuse? I have moved on to a better service. I suggest anyone reading do the same.
John was extremely helpful when the machine my server was being hosted on had issues, he was quick and efficient which made the whole process easier.
I have used other ARK server hosting sites and I can say this has been the least user friendly. Not only that, but there isn't a solid save function so whenever you shut down your server to make changes it will go back to whenever it last auto saved... which could be up to an hour before.
Once you add mods the only way to edit the server after that is by using the text editor (or this site will overwrite all the mod text and you'll have to re-add all the mods every time) so the only slightly helpful interface that comes with this hosting site becomes worthless.
I am capable of googling and figuring this all out eventually, but it took longer than I would have liked to get the server the way I wanted and the price wasn't really a huge steal for the added difficulty.
I want to start off saying that they did not ask me to leave a review, I asked them because of how good my experience has been so far. There were some initial issues with set-up and I was doubtful at first, but very quickly realised that I am in good hands.
The customer support is the best I've ever found, their pricing options are the best I've seen, and everything is running smoothly. I literally got everything I wanted, and I will recommend AGS to anyone looking for a server in the future.
To the staff that helped get my server running, I'd like to thank Leroy, James, and Rylan for their patience, speed and efficiency. You knocked it out of the pARK.

When I first began using AGS Hosting services, I really didn't have any idea what the game hosting looks like and I was very unfamiliar with server panels and all that. I simply wanted to try it out as the service fee was very cheap and that didn't take a bite off me. So I ordered a game server host from them and to my surprise, everything was extremely simple and easy to manage.
For a layman like me - you couldn't ask for more because you have the perfect panel from which you can control your gaming server, use the FTP and even install/de-install modules without leaving the panel itself - all in one place!
I could say almost 24 HOUR customer support has helped me with fast and helpful responses whenever I had an issue.
I remember a moment when I had only been their client for a few months and there were some problems with the server connection. At that moment, there were definitely a lot of customers who were sending in tickets and I didn't expect them to reply me by the time I would have wanted, but INSTEAD I got the reply to my worries like in 10 minutes which I call an extremely fast customer support. I have written to them day and night, asking for support with things which should be logical but they NEVER told me off but gave me the very best help they could.
Jerry K, John Knight, Rylan Parsons and James Richards - These guys are definitely drowned in work but they still come to your aid no matter how hilarious or difficult the issue is.
Would I recommend them? -
If you are interested in professional service, positive and always supportive customer support, cheap prices then it is difficult to find a competitor in this field.

Everybody expects tech support to be bad on these kind of servers, but that's not the case here.
James Richards and John Knight have both been a tremendous help. The average response time is five minutes. That's unheard of.
Also, my problem is listened too, not just shluffed off. Action is taken.
I'm sticking around.
Simon was of fantastic assistance helping me restore my server that I incorrectly cancelled.
Was able to get the old save files transfered to a new server and everything was working as it was before.
I have been with AGS for a couple of months now and couldn't be happier. Their support has made the difference with other companies in my experience. James Richards, a lead support tech, makes sure to clarify what I need if there is any ambiguity, minimizes down time as much as possible, and promptly responds after changes have been made. For those of us that just like to play games and not know the technical server part for a game, it's people like James that reassure that our server and game progress are in good hands.
