Calm and creative holiday activity
Our daughter has been to holiday club at art-K a few times now and she's always asking to come back again. The small group size and calm atmosphere are great for her, the teachers are so supportive and make a lovely creative environment and she's always really proud of what she creates. It's great to get access to quality art materials too. We'll be back in the next school holidays!

It is lovely to see how "M" has worked beautifully and confidence in the skillset and techniques develop each time, coming to both the classes and workshops. I absolutely loved her stinky flower too which she developed from paper mache and completely her idea. This was to to make it for the OXO Exhibition in London and I cannot wait to see it in the flesh in all it's glory. Thank you again for the lovely review and I cant wait to see what he does next in the new term/year.

This is fab thank you so much for your kind words - it is great to see how "A" has developed her work so much since starting here. I especially loved how she worked so hard on her Toucan ready for the OXO Exhibition, in London. It was great to see her work developed in the projects and how she beautifully worked from her plan into the final piece. Well done and I look forward to what she does next term/year. :)

Excellent art classe
Both my children love their art k classes. My son (13) has now been going regularly for several years and is really enjoying the secondary school art classes now. He has the opportunity to to work on some quite in depth projects and build his skills. My younger daughter (10) has mostly done holiday clubs so far, but they are the only holiday clubs she will even consider going to without a good friend and always comes home buzzing and proud of her work. She will be starting regular classes from next term.

This is lovely to see and thank you so much for these kind words. It is great to see how B has worked hard on both his Hockney and Jo Rance and especially the collaborative project for OXO which was the tree trunk - it looked amazing and hope I can see it in the exhibition in London when it is up :). I also cant wait to see how B gets on in the classes as I think she will do a lovely job as she knows the studio well now and works hard in her development and thought process as well. My near 7 year old goes to weekly classes & holiday clubs. Loves it!! Emma and the team are so dedicated, passionate and great teachers. I can always see progress weekly and some really lovely projects completed. Looking forward to next term!

Thank you so much for your kind words - it is wonderful to see how "E' has been developing her projects both in the term time classes and holiday workshops etc - especially as she loved her Day and Night project from the workshops :) which she was inspired to create her very own Jungle and City theme piece of artwork. I have also loved her term time project such as the landscape or elephant project :) . Best art class there is!
My daughter has been going to art-K for several years. She's done the classes in London and now in Bristol. She loves it and it's the only art class she wanted to attend continuously. The teachers are all well trained and super lovely. What I really like is how they are not just about techniques but also about having fun and following your own creativity. Maybe one day I'll attend an adult class too!

It has been absolutely wonderful getting to know 'K' over her time here and also seeing how her confidence has grown in both techniques but also the ideas within the projects as well. The teachers are all patient & knowledgeable, they have encouraged her to try so many different techniques & she is always incredibly proud of her resulting artworks.
We couldn't be happier with it & can't see us stopping any time soon!!

That is amazing to hear and thank you so much for sharing. It is great to see how "B" works and develops from the plan to the final piece. They always look so alike which is lovely to see. I adored her clay bowl with the cabin, waterfall and butterfly. Well done :) I look forward what she does next term, I also feel that she has come out of her shell a lot more and more confident in her whole persona in delivering her ideas to final pieces and confidence interracting with others too :) which is lovely to see. Thank you for such an amazing review and it is great to see that "T' is really settling in and cant wait to see how the Hockney develops or alternatively how the ant looks within the Oxo Exhibition, based in London. I hope that you have a lovely holiday and have some time afterwards to go and visit the exhibition before it ends.
Amazing adult course
I did an evening adult course here lead by Emma, and it was great fun! Emma created a super relaxed environment and supported me to see how I can improve. It was the perfect Thursday activity to wind down after work and set up for a final day before the weekend. I will be back!

Hi Dean - thank you so much for your kind words, I loved the piece of your red retriever inspired pieces influenced by Daniel Mackie and Georgia O'Keefe with the building of watercolours and watercolour pencil to create more depth and precision within your piece. Lovely supportive and friendly classes, both my children have attended lessons and the holiday classes, they were particularly helpful when my eldest was working through their course work for school when struggling with their ME/CFS - I really can't praise them enough!! :)

My daughter has been a member of this art club for two years now, and it has been a wonderful experience for her. She always looks forward to her classes and enjoys every session.
The atmosphere is relaxed and very supportive. At the beginning my daughter felt quite anxious, but because the class is small and only has a few students, she quickly started to feel comfortable. The teacher is very understanding and supportive, which helped her settle in and gain confidence.
Emma, the teacher, is always kind, helpful, and encouraging. She creates a positive environment where children feel comfortable expressing themselves and trying new things.
My daughter especially loves the variety of projects they work on. There is always something different and creative to do, and she often talks about what they will be making next. It’s lovely to see how excited she is about each new project.
I would definitely recommend this art club to other parents looking for a friendly, supportive, and creative space for their children.

Have loved "L" coming here and seeing her confidence grow but also the willingness in how she listens and takes everything on. I have loved the projects she has done thus far especially her bear pop up scene and the colours that she developed on her Hundertwasser painting was beautiful. "L" was able to create and mix and blend new colours and understood a lot about the layering that was needed and the work within the patterns which was influenced by the original design. Even though it is a small class it is great for those who prefer a smaller and quieter setting and can really develop their needs. I cant wait to see what she does next.
art k is a great place to push yourself to do your best.
Art K is an amazing experience for doing art projects and working on them with your friends!I love doing watercolour and acrylic as it is satisfying to paint onto the canvas. The teachers are great and help you to push yourself to work harder. They give advice and support you with how to do challeging peices of art. I love how you have a choice on what project you work on and how you get to design your work. I specifically adored working on my animal poster, featuring an arctic fox and a beaver, with written facts about them. How Lily teaches is great because she helps us on how to do difficult drawing, clay models, and more. but I think all the amazing artists who teach us are amazing.

Thank you so much for the lovely review and for mentioning Lilly who is particularly great at working with 3D as she has come from a 3D background working in animation and clay. She is overjoyed with the chocolate :) . I loved your wildlife poster and your Elke Trittel is coming on exceptionally well too. I look forward to what she does/ you do next which looks as though it will be finishing off the still life and working on a new project which I cant wait to see :) See you soon.
Great experience
My daughter has loved Art-K from day one—she started three years ago and still looks forward to every class. She attends several other clubs, but if you ask her which one is the best, she’ll say Art-K without hesitation. Even though she has to wake up early every Saturday and travel quite a few miles, she’s always excited to go.
Emma at the Southville branch maintains excellent communication with parents and makes sure we can see the progress in our children’s work. Art-K as a whole is always working to improve their services and genuinely listens to feedback. A great recent improvement is the ability to book up to five make‑up sessions, which has been really helpful.
I’m confident we have many more wonderful years ahead on our Art-K journey

Hi Marlena, thank you so much for a lovely review - it means the world that 'I' is fully immersed in the class still and the projects, plus a bonus that she gets on so well with her table and class mates always nattering away. I however, am loving the development of her Graffiti train all inspired by cats in space and now the makings of her hybrid which should begin next week in clay. I truly appreciate when parents can make the journey to come here as I know it can be tricky with distance but we do really value each of the students time here and love it when I can see how their development, confidence and abilities grow. Thank you again for the great review and cant wait to see how her future projects look, thank you. Emma :)

We love Art-K Southville
We love Art-K Southville. My 8 year old loves Lilly and Emma and she always has a fantastic time. Holiday art workshops are now a staple for us and part of our holistic wellbeing routine. They always have fun projects ready for each day, provide fantastic guidance and direction while allowing for individual freedom and I always collect a calm and happy child after. They also accept tax free childcare payments which is a big benefit for us (Only art class I know that does this!).

My nieces loved this!
I booked a session as a Christmas present for my two nieces (aged 8 and 10). They loved it! The artist made them feel comfortable and at ease and the artwork they produced was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

I am so happy to read this and to hear that both 'E' and "E" enjoyed the making of their projects of the Van Gough cat and the acorn. It was lovely to see them enjoy their afternoon and also to get stuck into it. We do hope to see them again soon and they continued to enjoy their half term holiday - halloween events too :). Art-k is different
Art-k is different from other classes I have attended in that each student is working on something different that appeals to them rather that everybody doing the same whether it appeals to them or not.

Fantastic Art Club!
My Daughter Izzy has attended Art K for the last three years and still enjoys going every week. The highlight this year was having Izzy’s art work showcased at Ashton Court. Izzy was very proud showing her family the work she had been doing in such an amazing setting. We would like to thank Emma for all her hard work and effort organising the event. It was the highlight of Izzy’s year.

Ahh I am so happy this and it was a wonderful display of not only Izzy's work fro the exhibition but everyone's. It was great to see you all together with other family members and friends coming along to the event as well for other people or those who may have just wandered across it. I am loving her collage and shoe development at present as well and may her inspiration and motivation plus imagination continue.
