Useless

The app runs slowly. Crashes a lot so I have to close the app and reopen it multiple times whilst trying to do an online order. When I go to pay it takes considerably long to confirm the order. It’s been like this for months so I doubt they even care enough to fix it.

Went to Asda this morning and was told that they now don’t do create your own pizza at the pizza counter,we have been going to past Asda for over 20 years and the decline is terrible,always out of date food out on shelves and fridges. Staff are not that pleasant either. Off to Morrisons instead not that the arranging staff will care.

Very poor experience

Very poor experience. Order didn't turn up, had to call multiple times to get a proper update. Agent didn't do what they said they would. They didn't care if I got the shopping or not. Recommend not to use for delivery. Raised a complaint but told I may or may not get a response.

ASDA, what is GOING ON!??

Just rang my local store in West Midlands to ask why Asda Easter Potatoes 2kg bag in promotional vegetables are not available for 3 days now online. When I got through, the man on other end of the call came up with a bunch of scenarios where I had to stop him and request he check or ask the store manager for an accurate reason. The man on the phone said he was unable to do that as he was in India ha ha ha ASDA I'm in the UK west Midlands and was then told the Bloxwich Store phone calls has been outsourced to India where the individuals on the other end of the line don't have the answers tut TUT! I guess it's Tesco and Sainsbury's online then! Online as I'm not well to go instore at present?

Don’t rely on ASDA delivery service if your desperate for food & can’t get to shop because of disability and old Age

So I’m OAP and Dissabled
My delivery should have arrived between 7.30/8.30 last night
I kept looking for updates it kept saying your driver is on the way!
I looked on the map but he was in same place as he had been previously!
I waited till 9.45 !
Then rang Asda up who said the driver had been at 8.30 !
He had not been then I was told he tried ringing me because he couldn’t find my address!
He definitely didn’t ring me ! I was then told there was nothing they could do now and to ring back this morning!

Which I just have but still no further forward!
Got to await until they speak with the driver after he’s finished his morning deliveries!
What a JOKE!
I was relying on that order !!!
Won’t be relying on ASDA no more !
Tesco it is for me from now on !
I see ASDA vans regularly where I’m at so no way the driver couldn’t find the Address

Update ❗️
I’ve waited in all day for Asda to contact me to see if they will deliver today !
No response from them so I’ve just rang back and they say order has now been cancelled!!
I’m fuming 😡
All I got then was Thankyou for calling Asda have a nice day !!
Absolutely disgusting behaviour from them ❗️❗️

This glitch when you want to check out online is getting very tiresome.
I've done everything they say..
But unable to checkout as the details are grey and the confirm button is not active?? Come on asda sort it out!

If there was a way to put a negative…

If there was a way to put a negative score I would put that. Every single week have to contact customer service to place an order (but they do not take orders over phone). IT is appalling. Substitutes are not nearly the same or alternative. Sell by Date on products on Date of Delivery which is unacceptable. Quality of Food disgraceful and goes off quickly. Only good thing about Asda is the drivers who have always been helpful. I will be going somewhere else now to place order.

Asda has lost another customer

I would give Asda a minus score if I could
I cant believe a sub couldn't be sent for skimmed milk.

I phoned the online service and was told a supermarket wouldn't have a substitute to send. I NEVER SEEN A SUPERMARKET WITH NO MILK. ,Told the person at the end of the phone and his reply was the supermarket didn't have any milk !!!! He said this more than once.

Don't do online !!!

Aw what can I say. I have been getting Asda deliveries for quite a few years. Stopped for a couple of years and resumed 6 months ago. This whole thing of "return to the driver and you won't be charged" is total nonsense. I keep handing back and keep having to request a refund as am still charged Then tonight received my order with 30 yogurts advertised as having 10+ days on website but apart from 6 the rest expired within 8 days. Do they chose short dates deliberately???. Declined refund online ...by the sounds of it because I have asked for too many....not my fault ...your drivers fail to process the handbacks!!!! With that said customer services were good and have assured me I will be refunded. Regarding drivers they are generally very pleasant but real consistency in failing to remove returns from the bill. Cancelled my delivery pass ..thankfully was paying monthly so had a get out. So very disappointing...these negative reviews cannot be good for business. Asda sort yourself

Get delivery once a week , as disabled, been late a few times, but living in Manchester expect it , with football match days, and traffic, been lager with Amazon fresh and cancelled Christmas Eve, 4 pm, had good driver service and very helpful only one thing substitutes, order

SCAM AT HIGH LEVEL

Attention,you made your order and product are in stock,when they delivered they charge you a minimum fee because they didn't had the products that says available when you buy.This is another type of scam at high level.I end up to pay 12£for 2 chocolate bar,customer service says for a refund I need to turn back the chocolate bars in one store out of London.
SCAM AT A HIGH LEVEL,SHAME
If you don't have the products that it's shows on stock when I buy,why are you charging me?I pay a different fee for delivery and the product arrive without being packed or any sort of package

I wish I could leave no stars!
What an appalling company, who have this false advertising campaign claiming to help the pockets of everyday people - lie!
I have been scammed out of £69 for a delivery saver (joke) pass for:
Unfriendly drivers
Missing items
Damaged items
Short or out of date food
App that doesn’t work so you can’t amend your shop
And the most appalling customer service department I have ever come across.
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Every time I try to amend my order on…

Every time I try to amend my order on the evening before my delivery, the Asda website won't let me check out. I have informed customer service and they say that they have sorted it now, but after 6 months , they have not, and they don't seem to be listening. When my delivery contract ends, I won't be renewing it. Very annoyed customer.

I ordered my groceries Wednesday 7th January 2026 . 98 pounds was taken out of my account, many items not available so the final Bill was 66 pounds.. I rang them up and they said I will not be charged but I was charged and not refunded for the items that was not available. Friday 9th January my Bank account was empty and 52 pounds was taken out of my account, I contacted the bank they said asda took the 52 pounds... I contacted asda again and they said I've been over charged and I have to wait 5 days , this has happened twice in the past and I wasn't refunded but that was for 8 pounds and I didn't want to be stressed but this time was to much to let it go. Don't use asda online, they are not to be trusted. Customer service is terrible.. my bank customer service is no better.

Abysmal customer service!

Had a delivery booked for 12.30/1.30pm. No-one arrived by 3pm so phoned for an update. Was told 4.50pm. Phoned at 5pm and apparently they were outside the house! Looked everywhere but couldn't find the elusive Asda delivery van. Phoned again, this time we were told the driver had experienced vehicle issues and estimated delivery was 5.45pm. Fingers crossed.

I realise the roads may be bad with snow and would have been very accepting of honest delays or issues and planned around it (the roads from town to us are fine tho!). My main gripe is we didn't receive any delivery delay notifications from Asda. If we'd been kept informed by email/text/call we could at least have organised our day. Rubbish customer service.

*The delivery didn't arrive - we still weren't contacted by Asda Customer Services and the payment has been allocated from my bank. No food for us until it's refunded which will take up to 5 days apparently.

** 2 days later and my account shows the order was delivered!! Unbelievable! Refund of payment hasn't even been issued yet!
