Great service
Ricky was the engineer from a shade greener maintenance, who called at my house today to look into the solar panel problem I had. He was extremely knowledgeable and efficient, and explained everything he did to repair the system by replacing the inverter in the loft. Couldn’t ask for a better service.

This company are an absolute disgrace
This company are an absolute disgrace, and should be brought to task for their bullying tactics.
My Mother is elderly and lives alone since my Dad passed away in 2018. During storm Darragh in October 2024 there was extensive damage to my Mothers' chimney which she had to have removed. Some months after the removal of the chimney the company claimed there was an issue with the panels and they arranged for an engineer to go to my Mothers house. The panels were inspected on THE INSIDE of my Mothers' loft and the engineer reported that the issue wasn't with the panels but with the trip switch which is located under the stairs. This led to the company demanding my Mother pay for scaffolding to be erected at a cost of £600, for which we refused and they sent another engineer who issued the same report, panels are fine the the electrical panel under the stairs needs to be changed.
In the meantime my Mother is literally living in hell, these bullies keep sending bullying letters (two at a time), with no way to contact them by phone. We have sent email after email for which they ignore and then they send more letters to say that my Mother doesn't engage!!!!
My Husband has had permission to speak on my Mothers' behalf as she is hard of hearing but now they refuse to respond to any emails saying they will on only speak to the homeowner, which is impossible as you as there isn't any way possible to speak to a human being.
My Mother is vulnerable, afraid and her health has deteriorated with all the stress this situation has left her in, this company seem to have no regard for anyone especially the elderly, perhaps that should be the company moto "we're kind to the environment, but that's the only thing we're kind to!".

Queried missing readings on the website
Queried missing readings on the website and I was sent them on an email the next day with a comment to say IT are looking at the website. Logged on today and the website has a whole new display with more accurate readings. Excellent service!

The lady I spoke to today was amazing
The lady I spoke to today was amazing. Apologetic for all.delays. Had great customer service. And did what she said she would instantly. The company as a whole is a different ball game. After having my panels for 11 years they only this year registered them with LR which has incurred delays on sale of my house and impacted solicitors costs.

My solar panels stopped working
My solar panels stopped working I rang to report it and they already knew and within a week an engineer had come out and replaced the inverter in the loft everything working again now the engineer was very polite and very efficient he arrived on time and explained everything he was doing as he was going along

We recently contacted A Shade Greener regarding several solar panel enquiries arising from a property sale, including a request for a Deed of Variation relating to a solar panel lease.
Izabela from the Legal Department provided an outstanding service throughout. She responded to every enquiry promptly, always within 24 hours, and kept the process moving efficiently at every stage. Once she received our client's signed Deed, she immediately submitted an application to the Land Registry and successfully expedited the registration.
Her professionalism and responsiveness were truly exceptional. It's rare to encounter such a high level of efficiency and customer service. A huge thank you to Izabela for making what could have been a complicated process so straightforward. Highly recommended!
