I highly recommend this estate agent

I highly recommend this estate agent. They sold my house within just 6 days, which was incredibly impressive and exceeded my expectations.

Jake was fantastic throughout—great with viewings and always kept communication clear, prompt, and consistent, which made the whole experience completely stress-free. He was professional, approachable, and clearly very knowledgeable.

This is the second time I’ve used this agent, and once again they have delivered an outstanding service. They are trustworthy, reliable, and honest—qualities that are so important when buying or selling a home.

Aimee was also brilliant during the sales process, ensuring everything ran smoothly and progressed quickly from start to finish. She kept everything on track and made what can often be a complicated process feel straightforward and well-managed.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a dependable and professional estate agent.

It was a long g process due to a chain but wonderful Aimee kept going and made sure I was OK too.

Avoid at all costs

Had an awful experience with this estate agent. We part exchanged our home with a local developer, who listed our property for sale with Ashley Leahy. Unfortunately Kirsty the office manager was rude and obnoxious and could do with a lesson in customer service. After we agreed the PEX, our dog had major surgery which meant he had to be crate rested for 6 weeks. I explained this to Ashley Leahy and the fact that viewings would have to be restricted due to this. Kirsty went running back to the company saying I refused viewings which absolutely was not the case, she didn't listen to anything I said, did not try to work with us, was condescending, had no compassion or care. I think she forgot that it was still OUR HOUSE at that point as we had not even exchanged contracts with the developer.

She was horrible and a really rude woman. I do not recommend at all!

Little empathy, lack of care to support

Until day of completion all fine, had no choice but to move into a property with no electric or gas. Plus my buyers has been given key over 1hr 30 before me giving me no time to load another van as per the estate agents previous agreement. Visited the estate agent, tearful whilst they were quite cheery. They even said the can just wait.
Given keys 4.45. To discover I'd be mobile darkness. Energy supplier advised day before it should be up running, services are never cut off. However the previous owner capped services, I spoke to the previous owner, they advised solicitors & estate agents were made aware early on during conveyance. It's the local authority responsibility to uncap prior to completion. This did not happen. So I spent over 7 days battling for it all to be uncapped whilst living there. Heard nothing more from solictors or estate agents, chased many times. They took the money and ran, left me to move into something inhabitable.
No empathy no care no willingness to try to get an update knowing what I was living in. Something of standard practice on a property like this was ignored and the issue palmed off making an already difficult situation harder.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we’re genuinely sorry to hear that your moving day was such a difficult experience.
As you know, the legal expectation on completion day is that the property should be vacated by 2pm, and sellers are responsible for arranging suitable removals to make this possible. The timing of funds transferring — and therefore when completion is confirmed — is controlled entirely by the solicitors’ systems. We were in regular contact with them throughout the day to chase for key release on your onward purchase.
In terms of key collection, we can only release keys once completion is formally confirmed, as the property legally becomes the buyer’s at that point. When the buyers collected their keys at 3.15pm, we made sure to explain that you still had removals ongoing and that access would be delayed. They did not enter the property until later in the evening.
We completely understand how emotional and stressful the day was for you, and our team did their best to support both parties — including taking calls outside office hours — to help manage the situation as smoothly as possible.
Regarding the capped services at your new property, we passed on the information as soon as we became aware of it, and you confirmed to us that you had spoken with the relevant services. Unfortunately, the process of uncapping is handled directly by the providers and was not something we could influence.
We hope you are now settled into your new home, and we genuinely wish you all the very best for the future.

I cannot thank Ashley Leahey enough.
I went through 3 different local estate agents and my house being on the market for over a year, then I went with Ashley Leahey and my property sold within 3 months.

The communication is great, always recieved constructive feedback straight after each viewing and the aftercare was second to none.

Georgina was amazing! Unfortunately I picked terrible solicitors who delayed the whole sale process but Georgina was on the case daily chasing and giving updates, I honestly couldn’t have got through it without her support.

100% recommend to anyone looking to sell their property.

Horrendous experience

Horrendous experience. We signed up with Ashley Leahy Real Estate in March 2024. They were supposed to start the sale ar Easter but never did. We had to push them into getting things started. We had to ask quite a few times for them to put the sale board up.
They brought a couple of groups and we got an offer on 11th April. Ashley Leahys told us the buyers were ‘cashed up, in a rental, after selling their house, ready to buy and wanted a quick sale’. Then on 23rd April, 2 weeks later the buyer came to our home and told me he needed to ‘dig his payslips out and try to get a mortgage’. Then Ashley Leahys said he had a 50% deposit, so getting a mortgage was no issue (this is the time we got the MOS). Then when nothing happened (mid June), we found out they now had a ‘sizeable chunk’ as a deposit, so Ashley Leahys said. They denied all the different lies every time the story changed. Then after that Ashley Leahys said they had a ‘deposit’, which to be honest, could be anything? Then Ashley Leahys told me the buyers were going for a high risk lender for their mortgage (they even told me who the lender was, at that stage). At no stage did they communicate things to us. We always had to hassle them to get any info. They even took our house off the market without asking us. They then told me what they meant by ‘cashed up’ was that they were cashed up with a deposit (they actually wrote that in an email). If someone is ‘cashed up’, it clearly means they have the cash to proceed but apparently not with these guys. The manager then started ranting at me, over the phone and later apologised over an email, when I reported it to the owner (who was NEVER around). We ended up dismissing them at that point but they refused to release us from the contract until its legal expiry (15th July). As of today (8th July), we still havent arrived at the finance stage of the house sale - 3 months later (first base). Always get offers in writing guys, especially if you deal with this company and be prepared for utter chaos.
