I got several quotes for solar and battery installation, I also needed a new roof and Ask were one of the few that could do both at once. Although not the cheapest I think the quote was ok and with them doing the roof at the same time this seemed less hassle. Other firms had requested 30-50% deposit up front but ask said they didn’t want anything till I was happy with the job once it was finished. A fantastic way to do business in my opinion which creates less stress and empowers the customer. The quote itself was for a large system, bigger that anyone else had advised but I am glad I made this choice.

A date was set for the scaffolding and a start date for the roof, estimated time for the work was 2-3 weeks. The roofers were so polite and tidy, couldn’t ask of much more from them. I had grp on a section of flat roof and some resin was spilt on my bi fold doors. They couldn’t get it off cleanly so the got someone to paint them and now they look as good as new.

The system is excellent, and generates way more than I was expecting. It’s October and I’ve only used grid power once for about an hour. Everything about the process was stress free, even any problems we did have were quickly fixed. I would recommend these guys to anyone. True professionals at every stage.

Your employees were brilliant, especially Adam the Plumber who spent 4 days at our house ,and his work ethic was brilliant, especially when it came to cleaning up!
From Lee's initial contact with us through to Adams Development of the project, and of course, and not least, the professionalism of Claire, the whole process was smooth from start to finish.
Any problems were solved with little fuss, and in general the whole experience was very good.
But you have successfully tranfered a house built in 1780 from an antiquated hot water/heating system, into an up to date  efficient property that is snug and warm with 21 st Technology.
It is a credit to you all. Great service from a great team and a great company.

My wife & I were blown away by how dynamic & efficient the Ask Team have been from start to finish. Within a week of our initial telephone approach, we had 2 site visits, the calculations on our home were completed & a detailed quote with the specification of our air source heat pump & hot water cylinder were received. I have found Ask Renewables to be knowledgeable helpful and professional in all my dealings with them, right from my first contact with the company.
From the initial contact, through the quotes and planning process through to the installation of my solar panels I have been kept informed, given opportunity to ask as many questions as I wanted and not pressured in any way.

I had an Air to Water Heat Pump installed at my home in 2021, the actual pump was fine with no problems at all but the installation of the pump and the fitting of the pipework and thermal insulation was a nightmare. It was identified after someone from HIES who checked it that the orientation of the pump was wrong and the thermal insulation on the pipework was not the correct thickness or had not been fitted at all and the radiator in my Bathroom was undersized, Eventually Mike Kellett "the Professor" at Ask Renewables came to my home to observe what was wrong. He informed me that what had to be done was for the pump to be raised over my Water Butt and sat on a special steel upstand. a few weeks later the workmen arrived and I was told that Mitsubishi would not approve lifting the pump onto an upstand and the pump MUST sit on the floor. The workmen then installed a second Heat exchanger in my upstairs Airing cupboard this additional exchange was not shown on the approved Single Line Diagram and rather they then installed a larger radiator in my my down stairs hall. I have spent 3 years reviewing this with my Insurance my Insurance Backed Guarantee Company who admit hat they know nothing about Domestic Central Heating or Heat Pumps.
We must have clear approved rules, Heat Pump installation is after all Government approved

Along came the scaffolder’s, and the installation team of Ste, Ste and Daly everything went like clockwork it was great to see such good team work. What a great company to deal with. From my first phone call with Adam through to the installation of solar panels and battery they are a credit to the industry. No questions were left unanswered and when Adam wasn’t available Claire sorted things. The installation team are a great bunch of lads (easily bribed with coffee) and go above and beyond to ensure everything is done spot on.

Absolutely top notch service from pricing, planning to the installation and aftercare. Team onsite were brilliant and did a fantastic job over just 2 days installing everything, nothing was too much trouble and the kit has been working perfectly for 4 weeks now. Would highly recommend them.

Absolutely fantastic company. Adam and the team are the ultimate solution when considering solar installation. I researched the market for quite some time and talked to about 8 companies as soon as I started talking to Adam I knew I was in great hands. His knowledge of the industry is second to none. Even now after my installation in March he is stall available on the phone when I need to understand some technical info about performance he is always available and happy to help. I would urge anyone considering solar energy to speak to Adam before making a final decision and I’m sure you will instruct them. On a financial matter we would not go back to not having solar installation our household it’s definitely saved us a lot of money and also selling power back to the grid is amazing. The whole team were excellent.

The installation team were really helpful, going out of their way to help sort things ready for the equipment to be installed (the electrician talked me through the various options for the installation, which resulted in a change to the location of the equipment from our initial decision).

I have a serious medical condition meaning I couldn’t move items in the garage to create space for the installation, the team just got on with it for me.

The installation all went smoothly, well from my point of view, it was sweltering outside and I wouldn’t have fancied being up on the roof and/or lifting heavy equipment in those conditions (good weather for a solar panel system though!)

Claire in the office is always quick to respond. All the relevant paperwork (certificates etc) was provided straight after installation.

All in all would thoroughly recommend ASK

Great Service way after purchase.
I bought a solar and battery system from them two and a half years ago and suddenly yesterday it stopped working. I phoned Clare at Ask Renewables and she was very professional and got their engineer to check my system out remotely. They updated the firmware but still the issue was not resolved. They then contacted the inverter company: LuxPower who again logged in remotely and worked out I had accidently set an incorrect setting... (D'oh!) which they corrected. All back up and running within 24 hours. Can't praise them highly enough. Fantastic company.

I had the pleasure in 2024 of meeting Mike from ASK Renewables after having a complete nightmare of an experience with a previous company that left us with a home with an undersized heat pump/rads & pipework and a hefty electric bill. I was at the point of giving up on heat pump all together but Mike turned that all around. The service received from him and other staff at ASK has been truly wonderful.

Fabulous service from the first phone call. Courteous, punctual, no hard sell. I felt I could trust them form the first contact, Very knowledgeable personnel. No deposit or lengthy waits for installation dates. All work carried out extremely promptly. This was very important for us because we were on a tight schedule with scaffolding due to be removed.
An extra shout out to Claire in the office who has been very helpful and efficient.

We worked with Mike on getting a heat pump for our Victorian terraced house in London. He's not only incredibly knowledgeable on heat pumps, heat loss and heating setup, but also just a pleasure to work with.
