A truly wonderful experience overall. Lovely clean and comfy Pinewood cabin to spend the night, adjacent clean and functional showers and toilets. Wonderful animal collection with a skew towards re-population in the wild, so its not over-filled by any means. This place is not a zoo, it is not crammed full, they actively send "new" animals to their native habitats to aid repopulation. Great fun too being able to explore the site exclusively out of day visiting hours. Excellent on-site gardens and restaurants, with friendly staff and tasty food.

Only thing that could be improved on-site really is signage, but that is a very small gripe overall... Signs are lacking in some places with regard to directions, and would be beneficial additionally on enclosures that currently have no occupants - purely to save you gazing on like a lemon trying to spot something that isn't at home.

Also, on the day we had our safari drive about, there was a technical problem with the PA system on the truck we had (D4?) so from the very friendly and clearly knowledgeable female host we had, unfortunately we only caught maybe every 15th word from what she was saying along the journey as the tannoy speaker kept cutting out… A shame, but an easy fix for next time.

My partner and I will definitely be heading back again soon though, looking forward to it already.

So after fighting this for months they refunded me 50%. So basically charged me £45 for a day out. Rip off. I’d rather have kept my ticket than be refunded half. They said I’d agreed o this. I did not. You’ve nothing to say I did. They’ve conned me big time - twice now. They are money grabbing. I’ve reported them to Trading Standards.

What have you done? You’ve ruined what was to your visitors a great day out!!

Why have you cut the safari well short? No longer can you see the giraffe, zebra, white deer. the babies, hyenas….the wonderful views which go on for miles across the fields out to sea…. All that’s left is a very long walk around the park seeing barely a thing!

I’m an annual ticket holder £90 and I WONT be again. The safari was why I went there. Now it’s virtually gone. What’s left is pointless. I know you say it’s not a zoo but when you walk past countless animal enclosures and see nothing, the safari made up for it. You always saw animals. Lots of animals. It was the only way you could see my favourites (giraffe) and I used to get amazing photos. Now without that, what’s left? Nothing! Oh your staff said you could pay for a personal safari, is that what’s this is about - Money? If people don’t like the long safari, personally the short one is pointless - you don’t see a lot. The monkeys never venture outside in the part you drive past, in 2 years how many times have I seen the spectacle bears and wolves? All you see now is the giant Guinea pigs and deer - boring and pointless. Do a short one for the people who said it’s bumpy and cold and bring back the normal length one. It’s a safari not a luxury coach trip!

You've conned me into buying an annual ticket and then took away the main attraction which incidentally is still on your website as included in the annual ticket price. You fail to say you’ve changed it completely. I left there straight after the safari today. I won’t be returning. I’ve used my annual ticket twice! The other time I’d gone for an experience and had paid for that. So really used it once. What a waste of money. I don’t have money to burn. I don’t earn much. This was meant to be a treat for me and a place to escape my stress of life.

Another thing I enjoyed doing. GONE!

You should refund my ticket in FULL. I bought it for the safari experience which you’ve withdrawn. I didn’t sign up for that. I only found out by going on it. I asked the driver why it was cut short. She said that’s how it is now. I was shocked, disappointed and angry. I left and complained to the staff in the shop who took my details but they ignored me.

Those buggies the privileged guests use stink of petrol fumes. Hardly environmentally friendly!
