STAY AWAY FROM ASPIRE CREDIT CARD

This is the worse credit card you can ever have. Opened a new account, never got a single statement or notification of anything. Found out through Credit Karma alert that I was late on the payment. Called and cancel. Customer service is terrible. I can’t recommend this to anyone. Will also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Non-existent customer service. Called to report fraudulent activity on my account. Got a message to say all agents busy, leave your number and we'll call you back. 4 business days later they still haven't.

Turned out to be a mistake..

I applied for a credit card from this company following a suggestion from the credit monitoring tool of an online bank app, as an option for credit improvement. I got approved for a $700 credit limit.

Two weeks later I got an email saying I owed them $177, but wait.. I hadn't even received the card in the the mail yet! Fast forward about a month and I just received another email telling me the minimum payment on my next bill is $55, including some monthly fees.. um, the card still has yet to even be activated!

How do I owe all this money when the card is still sitting in the envelope it came in? I purposely have not touched it because I was so turned off by what they did to me in the beginning.

Either way, those are the facts. No emotional negativity towards the company, no trying to sway other potential consumers one way or the other. Just the details of my personal experience.. do with that information what you will.

Do not get this card

Do not get this card. They do not keep records of all calls, they denied me ever calling.I have spent an unreasonable amount of time calling customer service, only to be given the runaround, transferred repeatedly, and told conflicting information. Instead of resolving the issue, they refused to reverse the fees for a card I never had in my possession.

This has been an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. Customers should not be charged for products they never received, and the lack of accountability and poor customer service makes this company very difficult to deal with. I would not recommend this card based on my experience.

This is one of the biggest rip off's I've ever dealt with. They charge $150 a year for a $500 credit. Their app is almost as useless as their customer service.
I used $90,00 and was charged $165.00 when I called to inquire as to why, they closed my account and hung up on me much like their useless app did, then sent me the $200 bill.

In 2017, I was in a horrific automobile accident that left me in the hospital for a year with 11 surgeries. While I was in a coma, my identity was stolen and $45,000 was charged in my name, including a vehicle purchase. After 15 years in the USMC and 3 combat tours, I found myself fighting a new battle: rebuilding my life and credit from scratch. Every other bank turned me down, telling me I needed credit to build credit, but never giving me the chance. Aspire was the only one that said 'Yes.' They looked past the damage others had caused and gave me the tool I needed to start over. I am incredibly grateful for their trust."

This review is from the United States. Aspire credit card is a predatory lending company. If your card goes over even one quarter of the credit line your credit score will drop 50-100 points. I've had to deal with this crappy credit card company for the last two and a half years. If you're desperate for credit they're good for people for that reason. Pay your card off as often as you can or every month and don't use them for more than a year and a half.

They charge you $50 to have a credit line increase.... And a whole bunch of fees that nobody can afford in these days, especially.

I put up with a lot more. Here's a few examples. You're only allowed to make two payments a month. Your payments are held until those two times a month. My card was frauded, and they refused to remove the fraud charge, and give me the benefit of the doubt... Telling me I had to wait up to 90 days for an investigation, the fraud was from Google, of all places. After being their customer for almost 3 years. At that point I closed my account.

Their customer service people are rude and not very knowledgeable and the calls are farmed out to people in different countries so the whole world has all your personal information. Customer service reps don't speak very good English and they're hard to understand.

avoid this card unless you're absolutely desperate, and then only keep them for a year or less and move on to something better.

Communication is the key

This company communicates. Makes this whole process a lot easier . They helped sell my property very efficiently and I would certainly use their services again .

Several videos pop up recently inviting me to find out how to own and rent property without owning a bean

Several what can only be money laundering scams have been on my radar this past 24 months
I think this is one of them and .... Aspire? Connected to Teleperformance? They said one bought out the other - I think it is all the same people... they just change names

Is a big shout I know but listen to what they are selling
The same kind of people who want you to invest your pension in Forex Trading machines which is basically gambling
For Money for Nothing using I assume AI to do something devious

Cheap scamming

Cheap scamming, ridiculous forms of life.
If only had a look at their " offers" advised by Clearscore. I have been called in a matter of hours after that.
Then, next days , lots of other different scamming calls followed.
Away from their despicable practices and reporting them seems the best solution!!

Scam

Scam, I applied for a card. Never received it and got a bill for 125 dollars. When I called their number they requested my social security number for log in. Their support email does not exist. what a joke.

They are total clowns!!

They are total clowns!!! About 3 months ago, I called them asking if I could pay w/my debit card, in order to get my credit asap. The guy said NO, it's not possible. Then, on Friday, 5/31/2025, I called the and spoke to one of the mgrs. I asked her the same thing, and she said YES, you can! So, now I have to wait another 4 days b4 having my credit available!

Totally useless people!

I received an offer in the mail

I received an offer in the mail. The letter said:

1. Enter your acceptance code
2. Complete your application and get an instant credit decision
3. Review and accept your offer.

I did number 1. Got NO credit decision and did NOT review or accept the offer.

After I put in my info, they did a hard pull and thanked me for being a new member.

It's a scam!! Watch out and stay away from Aspire!!!!!
