I’ve traveled to over 30 countries and Tanzania with Aterra was the best trip I’ve ever taken. Amanda split our two weeks between Singita Grumeti and andBeyond Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, and the sequencing was perfect. Grumeti first for the open plains and big cat sightings, then the crater for something that genuinely felt like another planet.

What set this apart was how little we had to think. Amanda had already spoken to both camps before we arrived. Our guide Herman at Grumeti knew we wanted early morning drives, not midday game viewing. At Ngorongoro, our dietary preferences and room setup were handled before we checked in. When a bush flight was delayed and our Nairobi connection was at risk, she had already called ahead before we even landed.

She has been to these properties herself and it shows. The recommendations were not pulled from a brochure. We are already planning Madagascar with her for next year.

Wow, still can't stop thinking about this trip. Amanda and Aterra Travel have genuinely changed how our family travels. We just got back from South America, Patagonia, Torres del Paine, stays at Awasi and Explora, and it was unforgettable.

Patagonia and any international trip, for that matter, is not easy to plan. There are many moving pieces, and honestly, I wouldn't have known where to start. Amanda understood what we were looking for without us having to over-explain, and every recommendation was right for the family. The whole trip was smooth from planning to execution, and I can tell that Amanda has a lot of knowledge when it comes to traveling. Going on a premier safari vacation has always been on my bucket list. Finally last October, I proceeded to book a safari trip to Botswana with Aterra, an experienced luxurious travel specialist in custom premier safaris. It was an amazingly incredible experience. A bespoke journey that is unforgettable and cherished. Botswana is one of Africa's top luxury safari destinations, known for its exclusivity, uniquely diverse and high-quality game viewing. Known as one of the premier destinations for “Big Five” sightings. October was an excellent time for me to visit as it’s the dry season. Saw massive herds of elephants, thousands of zebras, lions (even spotted some black maned species too!), leopards, cheetahs, and the African wild dogs…even some rare beautiful antelopes and the meerkats! I have never felt so immersed in nature…so close to wildlife before. I saw the magical beauty of the Kalahari wildlife reserve with its abundance of desert adapted wildlife. And also the natural paradise of the Okavango delta, a lush oasis in the Kalahari for sightings of crocodiles, and hippos. This is one of the best adventure journeys in my lifetime…the wildlife encounters that will stay with me forever. It was a totally stress free experience. Aterra curated a unique bespoke itinerary for me…the best “reimagined” experience of my lifetime. I would very much like to take another safari trip later in a couple of years. It will be with Aterra again…the best premier safari experts around 👍
