Honestly it wasn't all too great, the tutor never had a lesson plan nor did she go through exam question. However I will say she was very punctual which was good. But over all the teaching is quite slow and disorganised.
Edit: Thank you for so publicly confirming my concerns regarding your professionalism. It is truly telling that more effort was invested in this defensive response than was ever visible in your lesson planning.
While I acknowledge that the conclusion of our sessions was abrupt—and I apologize for the lack of notice on our part—it was a necessary step as we found continuing would no longer be a productive use of resources. It appears your ‘unique’ methodical approach is simply a lack of professional structure and a frequent need to ‘brush up’ on basic specifications during my paid time.
Furthermore, the tasks I was assigned lacked practical academic value. As a Chemistry student struggling with math-based questions, recording and listening to my own voice is an illogical use of study time; one does not simply recite equations to master them. Despite this, I did follow your guidance regarding being an 'auditory learner' by using external resources like YouTube to consolidate the knowledge.
I am genuinely sorry that you’ve taken a business critique so personally. I’ll be moving on to an educator who prioritizes academic rigor and focused, person-centered planning over personal anecdotes. I sincerely hope you find the time to manage your services rather than blaming students for your own organizational shortcomings.

Carol teaching has given my daughter a more clarity in Chemistry

Carol is amazing - She is helping generations 🙏

The teachers are helpful and considerate.

My daughter likes the lessons and I feel the tutor is knowledgeable and has experience. Also, she is highly engaged in the lesson and responds. As she is in year 13, I would rather like if she can have more work at home and get them corrected including Exam Papers. So, she needs exam practice a lot.

I was taught by Carol during lockdowns for Chemistry A level and obtained a grade A and she was absolutely brilliant. I came back this year and she supported me both in my studies and living situation. She helped me with clearing and collating all the documents. I am now all set for university, and will soon be off.

Carol was very helpful in helping my daughter have a good foundation in Chemistry in her Y9. She taught her the basics and I can see the progress my daughter has made in her grades.

Carol has helped her know her personal learning style, developed her organizational skills and how to study effectively.

My daughter did not use much the Web learning platform but was mainly revising from the notes she used to write during the lesson. Very good experience. Thank you Carol.

I absolutely love Carol, she taught me all my basics and fundamentals in chemistry and I absolutely would not have passed my access course to get into uni without her. Now I have a 2:1 BSc in zoology. Using specific learning styles and treating students as individuals is such a wonderful thing to see, and the results coming in from her other students too speak for themselves.

Carol is kind, caring, incredibly able and intelligent, and will give everyone the chance they deserve to shine as long as they are willing to work with her, and those who do put the effort in are shwon just how capable they can be when they understand how they learn and how to apply that to their lives - in academia and in life.

I am pleased to write a review about the academy. I have been working at Atompi Academy since 2021. I have found it amazing. Carol is doing a great job. She is nice and cooperative. We have helped several students to achieve higher grades.

Waste of time and money. Her teaching is poor, she is only interested in the money. I enrolled my child, paid upfront for the first month, my child only attended 2 lessons out of 6 as her teaching and the whole arrangement was poor, I provided notice after the 2nd lesson and told her my daughter will stop attending her tuition, only for her take money from my account for another 2 weeks. I requested my bank to pay the money back which they did only for her to file a dispute. The paper work she submitted for the dispute was so much it was like a court case, she submitted photos of my self and my child and recordings of every communication we had, who does that, my bank eventually refunded her the money.
Now I know why she does not offer free trial because she knows the poor quality of her teaching. I will NOT RECOMMEND

Worked with Carol for my GCSE biology, within her course I went from a D to A*. I learnt my learning style and with this my understanding of the subject and exam experience increased highly. I truly recommend Carol!
