They take real care in asessing what is the best way to prune my trees and hedge and carry out the work expertly, leaving my garden clean and tidy. ATS have previously completed work for us and we asked them to tackle an oak tree which needed permission. They completed the application which was approved for a crown thinning by a max of 30% but we were disappointed as to us the crown is the top of the tree. They removed a number of branches but not reduced anything in the crown (top) which is the problem area to let in more light. When the branches are in leaf there will be no difference at the top. The team also left when the work was completed without coming to see us to say it was complete and discuss the work.

I've been using ATS to pollard my fig tree for many years now and I have found their tree surgeons are simply the best. Not only do they always do a brilliant job, and are complete professionals, but they are always friendly and cheerful. My tree surgeons this week, Garth and Luke, managed to have a smile on their face and in bitter, zero temperatures which was no mean feat. They were a pleasure to have around and did a great job as always. ATS also offer very competitive prices. I cannot recommend the company highly enough.

Apalling service. As the team were cutting trees by a school in Ewell they disregarded parents and nursery children safety and reversed their vans through a pedestrian lane in a threatening manner and completely disregarding parents and teachers plea to wait until the children were safely handed to their parents.

Efficient appraisal of the needs of our tree issues

Very pleased with the work carried out by your men on a cedar which hadn't been cut for years. Top of crown reduced by over 3 metres, lateral branches by up to 1.5 metres. Looks much tidier now. Excellent work.

In our opinion, ATS is a trustworthy firm who carry out the tree cutting tasks as agreed and clear up at the end of the work.
They have reasonable rates that are agreed with the site surveyor in advance with no ad hoc increases.
The technicians are very knowledgeable and pleasant.
