Average Product Inflated Prices

I bought a pair several years ago. Paid fortune at the time. Around 6k. They did not isolate voices as promised. Went to Costco and got Jarbra. For 1,500. They out preformed the Audible in every way. Hearing loss is frustrating. No hearing aid restores natural hearing. Go middle of the road they usually out preform expensive stuff. BTW Costco makes all repairs free of charge. Their hearing test was way more sensitive.

Bought Audibel Vitality at hearing…

Bought Audibel Vitality at hearing specialist after hearing test about 12 months ago. Have made many visits to specialist to correct problems. The product info says that there is means of suppressing surrounding sound such as pub etc. this has never worked for me. The aids have been replaced once in that time. Would not recommend

Lees Summit MO Audibel Hearing Center

I went to Audibel in Lees Summit MO for a hearing test exam and to discuss options with hearing aids. I so enjoyed the entire experience. Everyone was very professional and were able to explain my loss of hearing to me in a way that made sense to me.
I especially liked how the levels of hearing aids and their affordability were presented.
I like how quickly I will be able to get my pair, along with the check ups and warranty package is available.

Incorrect Location & Telephone

D o not patronize this unprofessional business. This organization does not even have a trustworthy customer service phone number. Their (877) area code numbers are used to make appointments. There are even automated reminders. But the LOCAL offices have no clue. Second, their office address is not even accurately listed. Google cannot help you find it. Stay away from this hole-in-the-wall-devil-may-care small outfit. There are many other competent audiologists to choose from.

Happy to Hear It!

I was so impressed with the time and care I was given at the Zephyrhills, FL location--an assessment of my hearing needs that took several hours. I have been wearing aids for 12 years, but have never heard with the clarity of the Audibel devices. Because I have mobility problems, my audiologist is going to pay me a follow up HOUSE CALL, imagine that! Thank you, Jeff, for the work that you do!

Shrieking won’t turn off. Plugged or unplugged.

I went to the forest for five days to get away. Unfortunately, I brought my audibel
hearing aid.
When I put it in the case to charge, it started shreiking in a way that fried my nerves. Then I unplugged the case, and it still kept shrieking. I could not get it to stop.
I thought about maybe putting it back in my ear. But then it would’ve just shreeked soon as the charge ran out. And the charge seemed to be intermittent anyway.

It seems like some designer thinks being tortured with a shrieking sound that you cannot make stop is preferable to having the Charge run out on your hearing aid. They must have a very unrealistically high opinion of hearing aids. I cannot think of any situation where they would be worth this torture.
Since I was on a vacation intended to be out of cell tower range and Internet range and Wi-Fi range, I couldn’t call for help or get help online.

I am wondering if this is some kind of an alert to let you know that your hearing aid is dysfunctioning and is not charging.

But the alert was far worse than having no hearing aid at all.

I didn’t want to throw it in the stream to get rid of it,because I didn’t want that sound to torture the wildlife.
I brought the hearing aids and the charging case back to the practitioner and told her I never wanted those things in my home or my car again.
She kept stating that she would check to see what the problem was.
But since it would do that for a few hours and then stop and maybe not do it again for another 48 hours, she may not experience this horror.
I am now terrified of all hearing aids and even earplugs and AirPods. I don’t want anything near my ear.
They could’ve just had a flashing light to alert that there was something wrong with their charging mechanism. But an ongoing screech that will not turn off!!!!!
My heart goes out to all of the vulnerable people who may be experiencing this.

They didn’t even offer a refund. My year just ended. I’m wondering if it was just designed to last for the one year.

I am now remembering all of the people who said that using their hearing aid was not worth it. Now I deeply sympathize with them.

May 20, 2025 update: I brought the hearing aid and charger and everything back to the office. She said she would check to see what happened.
I told her I did not want the equipment back in my car or my own. I never want the pain of that awful sound again.
Never heard a word back.
No refund. No nothing.

I absolutely do not recommend this product. No does anyone who was subjected to listening to it.
I only used the hearing aid for certain events spaced fairly far apart. Sorry this only happened a little after the warranty ran out.

My experience was horrible!

My experience was horrible!! I booked my appointment in November and the office made numerous excuses as to why they couldn't make my appointment. Family problems, machine broke, etc. I wanted my hearing aids to be repaired by starkey but they wouldn't send them in . Waste of time and energy and starkey should know this because my hearing aids were made by starkey!!!

I visited their clinic in Nairobi and the person in charge to take impressions for making moulds is indeed incapable to deliver the moulds within the stated time they said.They lied to me. She takes 48hrs more after impressions before they are think of sending my information to the lab. At the same time they don’t communicate until i prompt them to so so. They can’t refund you; you have to wait for another one week for the queue and lab services which they are not sure of!!!Disappointment in capital letters. Sack that person because how I was treated was not right! I won’t come here for services again!

Fayetteville office of Audibel

I contacted the Fayetteville office of Audibel inquiring if they could service a particular brand/model hearing aid for my mother. Being 94 years of age it’s difficult and tiring for her to travel. Rather than saying “yes or no” to my inquiry they insisted I make an appointment and bring her in. I explained, it would be helpful to know if they could service her model before I set an appointment and travel to Fayetteville. Their response was scripted and inflexible. -Just simply ask the audiologist, “can we service Oticon brand hearing aids?” Again the staff insisted I travel with my mother to Fayetteville to get the same answer I could have received over the phone. -
Audibel; a service care provider should focus on quality patient care as much as they do on a profit motivated business model.

i have a pair of audibel 1000

i have a pair of audibel 1000. constant issues with blutooth pairing to my iphone from the get go. frequent connection loss alternates side to side. sometimes no connection at all. 2 year old units had to have one battery replaced then 4 months later the other failed to hold charge..!!!!!! After

Disappointing Audibel Intrigue AI

I have severe high-tone deafness and am old. I purchased the expensive Intrigue AI 24 RIC digital aids 7 months ago because of their "optimal technology" and Bluetooth connectivity.
Though the fit and battery charging are better than my old NHS aids (Oticon & Phonac), their performance has been disappointing particularly for speech in company, background noise, or the theatre.
Bluetooth connectivity is inconsistent for telephone, and impossible to link with my Sony Bravia smart TV. Therefor I was advised to buy a Starkey Starlink Remote Microphone to connect to TV and radio. Problems increased, in part related to the design of the remote.
The Remote is a small rectangular black object 15x2x0.5 cm (easily held in one's palm). It is controlled by one large black button and three very small ones (10x3mm), two of which have tiny black ± symbols.
The Remote is unsuitable for most persons aged over 60 - who are likely to be less nimble and no longer sharp-eyed. It is a troublesome and costly addition to what was purchased as Bluetooth enabled hearing aids

On my third pair of hearing aids and less than two years

In March 2023 I bought a pair of intrigue hearing aids. The first pair out of the box was so loud and there was no way to reduce the sound. They were broken. The hearing aid specialist got me another pair which worked for about six months or so. They died and had to be replaced with a third pair. The third pair after a few months had to be returned to be rebuilt. That lasted a few months and now today I had to return the right one which was malfunctioning. All this happened in less than two years. Actually, the two years will be up in March 2025. Extremely unhappy with these hearing aids. I have to drive about 40 miles to get service. Now I will be without the right hearing aid for about two weeks. The first time they were returned I had no hearing aids for almost 2 weeks.

Rejoining the Conversation

I saved money by buying Brand X rechargeable hearing aids on line 5 years ago and got exactly what I paid for: uncomfortable hearing aids that didn’t work and customer service from hell.

After 5 years of torture I finally upgraded to Audibel rechargeable hearing aids. Best decision I ever made. Comfortable, lightweight, 51-hour battery life, and most importantly, they returned my sense of hearing! PS. They’re MADE IN USA!

Would not recommend

I had an appointment at a local office of Audibel in Hamilton, New Jersey on 2-22-24. I was waiting and waiting and finally I called to see if my hearing aids were ready. No response. Called again. Same thing. So I went to Penn Medicine and ordered hearing aids from them. I just wonder what kind of an operation gives you a hearing test and no follow up. Strange....

The products are lower quality than Oticon

The products are lower quality than, say an oticon. My insurance was paying $6,000. Audible office in Melbourne (now closed) “John” ordered the crummiest hearing aids they sold, hoping that I would accept them. I did not, this was just the start. I finally got invisible in the canal, like the oticon I had. John tried like crazy to eliminate the hissing and warberling. After many tries of sending them back and tuning I had enough and just took them and figured I would just live with them.

And then they broke, rebuild time, not even one year under warrantee, then broke again, and again, and again. Now costing me $400 per repair, 1 year warrantee. Then the office closed in Melbourne and I had to drive 5 towns away. Another two repairs, getting expensive. And that office closed too, now I have to go to Orlando, 60 miles away for another repair. Top it all off they DON’T sound good, lots of hiss and background noise. If I am in a restaurant, I can hear the kitchen clatter, but not the person sitting next to me.

Save yourself the grief, don’t buy audible Starkey brand. My honest $.02.

I went to the Ocala, FL office for mine and highly recommend both Mateen, at the front desk, and Paul who helped me greatly with my hearing!
Folks, you won't disappointed if you go there!
