We have been working with Tristan at Automation Crafters on a significant automation project focused on HUB Cycling's School Education programs, and our experience has been outstanding.

As a non-profit organization delivering cycling and road safety education programs to thousands of students every year across to schools in BC, managing school bookings involves a large amount of coordination, communication, data tracking, and reporting. Many of these processes were spread across multiple spreadsheets and manual workflows, making them increasingly difficult to manage efficiently as our programs continues to grow.

Tristan has taken a convoluted, messy program booking and coordinating process that has barely been updated since 2014 and converted it to a streamline, user-friendly automated system that will save us hours of work every week for years to come.

He has an intuitive understanding of systems and is quick to identify duplications and gaps in our processes -- impressive as an outsider seeing them for the first time. He's always willing to entertain our requests and investigate solutions (if he doesn't have one ready to propose, which he often does), and equally clear about when what we want is not possible, in which case he has realistic, practical alternatives at the ready. He's remarkably efficient, communicates clearly and calmly, and has a wealth of knowledge to draw from to identify solutions. As a non-profit, we really appreciate that he is able to work wonders with free or affordable applications. Tristan helped us automate on of our mundane tasks that often had us dragging our feet. We wanted to track our business projections all in one easy to read spreadsheet but transferring that data (especially since copy and paste wasn't really an option) was quite tedious.
