Total scam company

To not buy from them, I’ve learnt the hard way so annoyed with myself i didn’t read the reviews

This company is a total con. I wish I'd read the reviews before I was taken in by their false adverting. The cardigan was nothing like the picture and not fit for purpose. They expect you pay £11+ to return it to China! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE.

If I could not give a star, I would! I bought a "sculptured cats head" which in the advertisement looked like stone with beautiful vibrant coloured eyes. What arrived after weeks of waiting was a lump of dull plastic with dead looking cold eyes. £29 for absolute rubbish. On the advert it says easy returns and a business in Manchester, founded in 1997.. In reality they are Chinese Scammmers with a dodgy returns policy which they say "might get lost in transit" if you want to pay to return the item. No refund unless they receive the item back. Do not bother with them

The poncho material is cheap and the construction is very poor. It does not reflect the picture or description on your website and therefore not value for money.

Total con. Was told to send my substandard product back to China (at vast expense and they mention things often get lost which is very convenient for them as then you don’t get a refund) or alternatively gift the rubbish I was sent to some poor person who won’t want it either!! Avoid this company.

Sub standard cardigan received, wrong size and with no care labels and horrible scratchy fabric which is against Consumer Regulations. No refund, address in China and completely ignoring British Standards. Avoid at all costs.

So stupid to have been taken in by the images and MANCHESTER logo behind AVERY & ROSE ?????picture of 2 ladies in front of 'shop'... order arrived today, looks like it has been washed multiple times, is the colour of a heavy smokers ceiling... DO NOT BE TAKEN IN AND DO NOT PART WITH YOUR MONEY...

I ordered the Matilda cardigan, the advert showed a colourful knitted cardigan, original price £100.00 reduced to £27.95. I checked the site for any mention of items coming from China, nothing all info implied the company was UK based with HO is Manchester. Well what arrived you couldn’t call a cardigan it was incredibly cheaply made of a polyester blend material and the knitted pattern in the advert was badly printed on it. I have been in discussion with their customer service who to be fair has responded to every email, but with the same story. I have to return the item to their warehouse in China to get a refund. I have explained I have been mis sold the item but no luck so far.

The jacket I ordered took a very long time to arrive. It was nothing like the image on their website. They portray the shop as being in Manchester but it isn't its in China. The jacket is cheap and not what I wanted. Their return policy makes it impossible to return - postage to China is very expensive and there is no guarantee that it will arrive. A scam for sure

Poor quality products. When tried to return told need to send to China. Company blatantly refuse to reply to questions in email. DO NOT USE

Appalling company. Website suggests they are based in Manchester. Payment processed in Netherlands, goods took 14 days to arrive from China despite being "in stock". Clothing was poorly put together, smells of chemical dyes, not knitted as photo suggests but printed with a "knit effect".
Website offers 30 days money back guarantee. This is not being honoured. I have been offered a 15% refund unless I ship it back to China at my own cost along with no guarantee of receipt, clearly outlined in their email.

This company need to be avoided at all costs.

Do not buy from this company! I thought I had done my research and this was a genuine company in Manchester! Nope! Goods came from china and the equivalent poor quality items are available on Temu! Shocking quality, ridiculous price and poor customer service! Made it almost impossible to return as had to pay shipping to China and basically said you wouldn't be refunded if goods did not arrive, which they often don't. I took the hit and learned an expensive mistake!

I SO wish I’d read these reviews before placing an order. If you are reading this before ordering, DON’T! They portray as a family-run business from Manchester. They are not. They are based in China, the goods take weeks to arrive, if at all. The quality is not as described. If you want to return any items, you get cross questioned via email as to exactly why. Then if they agree, you get sent an address in China. With a warning that you have to pay tracked postage and return at your own risk, as parcels may never arrive! To try and persuade otherwise, they send you increasing offers via email to keep the items and they will refund a % of what you paid (I can provide email evidence of all these claims). DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Item was not what I ordered. When I asked about returns I have been offered rising discounts up to 20%. And told that I have to return the item to China (despite all online info saying they are UK based).
Scammers - don't waste your money with them.

Sent a faulty cheap item with a terrible smell and with a visible fault. When I asked for return they don’t provide free return for faulty items and they said they are not in Manchester is not family own is a cheap Chinese company!!! SCAM!!!!!

Takes 4 weeks to deliver from a Chinese warehouse, not a Manchester based , family run company. Website pictures beautiful garments, when in actual fact the cardigan I received was poor quality, nylon printed tat! Definitely NOT the woollen item pictured on their website. There are no labels in the clothing either, nor a delivery invoice. All very suspicious. Avoid at all costs. Money thrown away

Jumper nothing like what I ordered, cheap looking, company definitely not based in Manchester, a total rip off. Will be going straight to rag bin.
