Not a legitimate business
Purchased a sauna that reflected to have 10 in stock ready to ship. First received an email that said I would be contacted to see if I wanted to pay extra for expedited shipping, it was free for the item. That was an extra $350 that I couldn't even get them to tell me for days. A week passed and still no regular shipping date. I talk to them and the order was cancelled because they said they no longer were able to get the item. After that I was still receiving the invoice for the extra shipping. I ordered the sauna from another vendor with free shipping and received within a week. Not sure this is a legitimate business.

Sketchy looking website
Sketchy looking website. I would only order with a credit card as I was unsure if the company was legitimate. Slow shipping is why I gave 3 stars. Don't think I would use the company again due to sketchy policies. Also why would you ask me to tip an online order with so many fees. Just made me lower the rating to 2 stars alone because of that.

Excellent Product
The equipment was rugged and has held up well during the season. My son enjoyed learning how to tackle using the product and I also brought it to practice for the rest of his team to use. It was a big hit with the team and they were disappointed at some practices when I didn't bring it.

Malcom was extremely professional with being most helpful, proficient, respectful, courteous, and thorough beyond those I've dealt with on past phone orders.
He repeatedly followed up and notified me with updates pertaining to my correct order, on issues of when will my new Alfresco 42" Grill be shipped along with information on the rebate plan that my purchase fell under, the form to fill out for filing, the amount I will be receiving back with the Distributor managing for Alfresco's Rebate Program dated from Feb to Sept 2024. This gentleman deserves to be addressed as a great representation for Backyard Provider and hopefully acknowledged and respected by offering him an award of recognition, as well a promotion / raise within the company, to motivate and keep this personnel onboard as a great asset to your company's future.

it took over the 20 days to ship out i had to text to see when it was going to be sent out.Setting up was a little hard the booklet gave you alot of stuff but nothing on setting up had to go to you tube for programing unit

Waste of time
Ordered a mini split AC unit from backyardprovider on 28th of May. Got a call next day asking to upgrade to priority shipping for $300, standard shipping will take 2 weeks. Declined the expedited shipment offer. No updates for next several weeks and after calling them up, received an email saying order is cancelled as item is out of stock. The item is still available and showing in stock for order on their website.
