I will note that the service I received was in 2021 and during Covid so I understand that delays were occurring this time period and I was understanding of this.

Salesman came out to my house promptly and measured up the window for a blind. I had picked out the material already in the showroom and was happy with the sales people too and the input they provided.

However, the installation/the blind itself/aftercare is why I'm giving a low rating. Two installers arrived to install one blind and when I viewed the finished article I indicated that it didn't look right as it was sloping to one side. I was informed that I would need to contact the office about this as they just install. I did and was informed that I would receive a call back. I waited as this was in the height of Covid so understood that delays due to backlogs were occurring. However, I never received a call back and I called approx 2 months later again and received the same response. Very disappointing service and in the end I had to leave following up with the company for a resolution due to a bereavement in my family.

It appears that the fault in the blind is that it was poorly constructed as it's not evenly sewn. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this company due to the poor service I've received.

I have used Baldoyle Blinds on a number occasions to have blinds repaired. On each occasion I received very prompt, helpful service and good advice. Prices were reasonable. The showroom is a haven of tranquillity as well as displaying a great range of products! Based on my experience I highly recommend this business.

I got my blinds within one week of ordering them. A very good service and I am very pleased with the blinds. I got the whole house done. They came to measure and also to put the blinds up at the time they said they would. I would highly recommend Baldoyle Blinds. The girl in the office and fitter were very friendly and efficient. Very recently had Baldoyle Blinds install some blinds for our office in Merrion Square, and they were just incredible to deal with from start to finish, from the lovely, friendly attitude of the girls in admin, right up to the quick, mess free installation of the blind itself. There was no hassle, or fuss and we got exactly what we were looking for at an very reasonable price. Would highly recommend!

Fitter was not experienced and dragged the steel roll blind off the window and marked it. Cracks have formed where the walls were drilled for the blinds. I know this can happen but these cracks are very deep obviously he wasn't a professional

It was only a small purchase, 10 euro, yet I was treated as though I was buying blinds for every window. Very professional, very helpful and very friendly. The new showroom is a delight.
We bought our blinds there many years ago. There'll be no shopping around when it's time for a change of blinds, we'll be returning to Baldoyle Blinds.

Baldoyle Blinds were an absolute pleasure to deal with.
We went with roller blinds throughout the house and curtains in the bedrooms - amazing quality product.
Their showroom is a step ahead of the rest, staff were very accommodating from the outset and throughout - we will be back!

Ordered blinds for the french doors in my house. I paid extra to have the Venetian blinds with the fabric down the centre. I also didn’t mind waiting the four weeks for them. , But before they could be installed I had to pay the balance of the money. I told the salesperson over the phone that I am uncomfortable paying for something that i do not know if it’s to my satisfaction or not. I was told that thats their policy. When the blinds were installed I noticed they didn’t have the fabric and said as much. The man installing them said oh yes they are the wrong ones.
He said he would leave the wrong knee there until the correct ones arrive and they sales person would call me and arrange as soon as possible. I was annoyed but prepared to wait for the right blinds. never received a call from the sales person, I eventually had to call her and her response was more or less dismissive and you will have to wait. A week later the correct ones arrived and the bottom part that was to be fixed to the doer was broken . I called manager and he assured me someone would be out to fix it the next day, that was four days ago. Baldoyle blinds in my opinion are unprofessional and have no respect for their customers and I will never ever use them again.

They were prompt and arrived as scheduled.

The windows were tilt and turn and inward opening. The blind designer said he would make blinds that would sit on the opening window, as the reveal clearance was not adequate to place the blind on the upper reveal above the window it would have to be placed on the window itself.

When the blind was fitted it became apparent that the blind was hitting the side reveal and dammaged the plaster work when opening the window.

The reveal had to be re-plastered and painted due to the bad blind design.

This is my second time to use Baldoyle blinds and what can I say they never fail from start to finish they are extremely helpful.
My blinds are superior quality and they were fitted within the week. I cannot recommend Baldoyle blinds enough you will see the moment you enter the showroom.

Our windows were difficult to find the right blinds for. Got good advice in the shop. They came out to measure and returned with the finished blinds. There were some problems with the blinds (not their fault) and the fitting (their problem) but the after sales service was excellent and they made a number of visits to resolve the issues.

Organised an appointment to get blinds fitted. Waited one week and took a morning off work to be told there was no one coming. This was after 3 calls over 2 hours. Organised another appointment a week later which was then cancelled on the morning of the appointment. A completed disrespect of my time. Will never contact them again.

We spent about €1,000 on blinds, had them installed (very nice guy) about 6 weeks ago, identified a problem on the day of installation, phoned the shop then and every week since. We were being ignored.
They keep promising to phone back but do not.
If they get back to me I will update this review.

The problem is that the Venetian blinds on the big windows are too heavy to be pulled up, which negates the main reason for getting them, ie, to enjoy an unrestricted view. If they had advised us when ordering them we would have bought blinds made of lighter materials.
By the way, the rest of the blinds (on the smaller windows) work perfectly, are gorgeous and a great price.
Baldoyle Blinds are ignoring us and hoping we go away.

We got a call within 24 hours of the above posting. Apologies given and accepted.
The co-owner came to our house, agreed that the blind was too heavy, took it away and had it replaced with a double-blind today that is so much easier to use and perfect for our requirements.
All in all, a fantastic outcome. We are delighted and would have no hesitation buying blinds again from Baldoyle Blinds or recommending them to friends.
