Bands in town has great support for artists

Useful enough, nothing more
Bandsintown is fine as a one-stop place to browse events, if you want to scroll through what's happening without jumping between venue sites, it does that job.
The problems show up when you try to use it more actively. Syncing with other services is inconsistent, and certain features just don't work reliably enough to trust. It's the kind of app where you occasionally wonder if something didn't show up because there genuinely are no events, or because the sync failed again.
Not something I'd recommend enthusiastically, but if you just need a single place to search for gigs without too much else, it works for that.
Useless broken thing, will make you lose tickets.
Useless waste of time that makes you LOSE A CHANCE FOR TICKETS. You spend AN HOUR trying to gain access, their worthless system failing all the time. And when you can finally get in? It just redirects you to ANOTHER website! By then, the presale is OVER. Pointless intermediary.
Inconsequential
Inconsequential, even useless. It announces artists' tours two days after tickets go on sale. Other platforms are much better informed.
Don't waste your time or your email inbox sanity
Made an account recently so I could be notified when literally only TWO artists I want to see are performing near me. Since then I've received maybe 20+ emails, multiple per day, all for random artists that I have zero interest in and have never indicated I wanted to see. I adjusted my settings to only receive event emails for artists I'm following (again, literally two people) and nothing changed. In each email, they say I'm receiving these notifications because I follow whatever artist they're pushing (I don't), and no amount of unsubscribing seems to work. Good idea in theory, absolutely trash execution. Will be deleting my account and reporting any more emails from them as spam. I'll just keep tabs on the artist's tour schedules myself.
Incessant emails and unsubscribe…
Incessant emails and unsubscribe doesn't work. Infuriating.
Persistent popups on Youtube
Once I clicked a link on Youtube, it kept giving me popups until I removed the bandsintown cookie.
No Longer Useful
I’ve used this app for years, but over the past year it’s gone completely downhill. Support has been useless I’ve opened tickets and either get no response or I have to follow up multiple times just to hear back, and even then nothing gets resolved.
I’ve reported more than once that the app no longer sends me new concert notifications, and it constantly unfollows artists I know I’ve followed repeatedly. I’ll follow them, check later, and they’re back to “unfollowed” again.
All of these issues have been reported multiple times, and nothing has been fixed. At this point, it’s clear they don’t care about the user experience, so I’m done with the app and I honestly don’t recommend it to anyone.
forced
forced, i wanted to order a ticket for a dutch band, to use this app and site. mandatory to create an account.
after reading i don’t want to make use of it anymore and
stopped my account. But emails keep coming whatever i’ll do, alter subscriptions and so on, they’l keep spamming me with bandemail and other unwanted advices.

i made a joke about Taylor Swift is garbage and i said i was playing at the United Center and they took my account down.
The Red Chord x The Number 12 Looks Like You x See You Next Tuesday x Vomit Forth @ The Brooklyn Monarch, NY
Tickets were available through The Brooklyn Monarch's individual website instead of the usual Dice or Ticketmaster that I'm forced to comply to -insert laugh here-. Many blessings to the venue. Support the venue. Bandsintown is what I use to stay updated. Hence, Bandsintown review which has a great system. Now to the reviews. 2nd time seeing Vomit Forth. They did not disappoint. Heavy Death Metal Hardcore or Deathcore vibes. Some fun dancing. Good times with their set. After them, it was just back to back legendary sets. Starting with See You Next Tuesday. Their set was amazing. Heavy Grindcore/Deathcore sounds. Everyone was grooving on the Dancefloor. I really enjoyed their set. Next up, The Number 12 Looks Like You. They started out chill and melodic. Then eventually moved into their heavier stuff for some dancing vibes on the Dancefloor. But ultimately, it was awesome and nostalgic. Good times. And last but not least, the dope ones, The Red Chord. These guys were phenomenal, yo. I enjoyed their set a lot. Words can't fully describe. You'd have to hit up their shows. Many blessings. Happy holidays. As always, Be sure to support the bands and the venue as well. If you find any of this useful and educational, be sure to tap the Useful option to let me know. Leave your comments. Share it around. Do your own Reviews as well.
Absolutely horrible
Absolutely horrible. Idk why anyone would sell tickets with this service. Bombarded by ads ads ads. I legit skipped a concert because they were more invested in shoving ads down my throat before I could even see the price of said ticket. Hope the ad revenue is worth the loss of sales.

i went on to this site once and they got hold of my email somehow i cant remember and now they are constantly sending me emails. i have blocked and unsubscribed and yet they still somehow do even through 3rd party emails. Avoid them at all costs unless you want to get constantly harassed
Spam
Spam, spam, spam. I have unsubscribed many times and blocked them, but they keep sending e-mails.
Do not subscribe!!!!
Disappointed with Bandsintown – misleading and spammy
I downloaded Bandsintown hoping to stay updated on concerts and track my favorite artists. While the app does send alerts, the experience has been frustrating overall.
It’s a great idea, but the execution is poor. I wouldn’t recommend using it for ticket purchases or trusting the event info without double-checking elsewhere
Privacy infringement
I wanted to see tickets for sale and by clicking the view tickets button it took me to Spotify and asked to connect to my account to see things such as: listening activity and account details which are way too private for a service to ask for before buying tickets or even creating an account on THEIR site..
very big red flag would stay away !
Don’t even go to this website
Some weeks ago I went on their website and now I’m wishing I didn’t they keep sending me emails about events etc and I have unsubscribed now about 15 times but they keep sending me emails I’ve even emailed them and got no reply from them it’s now getting ridiculous
