The best chocolate I've ever had.

Absolutely amazing. After receiving as a gift for my birthday I bought more for myself. Perfect. I've enjoyed every single one so far and hope that I'll enjoy more to come.

My now new go-to.

I want to support small business and even better when the focus is on quality. I bought four full size bars and four tasting sets as Christmas gifts. The tasting cards I paid extra for (!?) didn’t arrive and the impression from the website was these tasting sets were wrapped with string to identify them as a set. They were delivered loose in a box. I emailed the company a few days before Christmas using the website online form hoping I could get a pdf or something to print given the short time but heard nothing back - it’s now a week into January. I didn’t in the end give them as gifts as a result
I know Christmas will be a busy time but these things really matter if the company are to reassure the customer they are mature and can deliver quality worth paying for.

I also ordered after watching Rick Stein. Dark chocolate the best I have tested in this country. MIlk and salted not to my taste. The wrapping is very elegant, but impractical after opening. Unless you eat it all in one go! Will order again.

Beautifully packaged, I mean, exquisite! However, the marshmallows taste of nothing, fluffy texture, but no taste. I dont like dark chocolate, so i went for the 2 milk chocolate bars. They aren't milk chocolate, just dark chocolate. I mean they look incredible, both the choclate bars and the marshmallow box, just taste awful.

I am absolutely in love with Bare Bones. The chocolate is consistently excellent. I'm a very happy regular customer and orders are always delivered quickly, in good condition, and with a cute little note. I've lost count of how many people I've recommended them to now because the chocolate really is that good and they've never let me down. The chocolate is also available on Cocoa Runners, but generally I much prefer ordering from them direct rather than via Cocoa Runners just because Cocoa Runners occasionally send the wrong bar (Especially with Tosier for some reason) or send you one with a short expiry date, and if you're ordering 4+ bars...which I usually am (chocoholic, guilty as charged!) it's usually cheaper via BareBones website too.

Ordered chocolate after watching them on Rick Stein’s show. Chocolate arrived today, carefully packaged, all recyclable. A lovely card informing you of how the chocolate is made, tasting notes and flavour wheel included. I’ve only tried a few squares so far but my this chocolate hits every mark with so many flavours and is very smooth and the taste lingers.
I will be reordering as presents and yes obviously for myself.

Barebones is a lovely place with great chocolate. Sadly, we have not been able to visit the shop but we buy from them online all the time. They ship quickly and communicate. The packages always show up with hand crafted messages.
Their chocolate gets a lot of love and write ups from the Guardian as well. Someday we will make it to the shop.
In fairness of disclosure, I do work with them but I loved their chocolate before I ever worked with them. We discovered them at a craft chocolate fair in London in 2021.

Bought Hot Chocolate Flakes from this company many times, delicious taste. Service is excellent and always arrive in good time.
