Will has been fantastic in looking after our dog, Hamish. He provides regular updates and it's clear he really loves dogs!

Got the incorrect items twice and now they are not replying to any of my emails. Do not buy from them

Super pleased with Barklife - Finn our Border Terrier has now had several overnights and a 10 day stay with Will and he has been extremely well looked after. He absolutely loves his walks and enjoys the company of Eevee Wills dog. We get photos and videos everyday which gives us peace of mind while we are away..

We have two rescue whippets who have some challenging behaviours while out on their lead walks and Will has been brilliant in gaining their trust and ensuring that despite their issues they are cared for and importantly walked and jogged safely.
Will does regular drop ins and walks during the week if we have to work, and he’s done a number of house sitting jobs for us to let us go on holiday knowing the dogs are totally loved on and cared for.

We are away for a month later this year and I booked Will to look after them before I booked my flight because that’s the only way I would leave them that long!

He is also great at covering last minute requests and emergencies if he has capacity.

Will is so great with our dog. He really knows how to handle our dog's behaviours which is a huge comfort to me. I love that he always sends photos and videos so we know our dog is happy and taken care of. Highly recommend.

Will has been brilliant with our rescue dog. Patient with him and understanding his fear of new people. Giving him the time to get to know him and settle in. Our dog has a great time when staying with Will. Great walks and lots of cuddles. Looking forward to getting Oscar booked in again soon for a fun holiday with Will and Eevee.

Evee always has a great time with Will and is happier to see him than me! Kept up to date throughout stay with plenty of photos. Honestly cannot recommend Will highly enough and I wouldn’t look anywhere else for 🐶 care. Already got Will booked in for multiple stays this year 😊

Will has built a quick and trusting relationship with my two spaniels. He sends pictures and videos of both house visits and walks. Regular communication and flexibility have been great.

I cannot speak highly enough of Will. Jura has stayed with him on several occasions, and has always had the best time with him. We love getting updates, and can see that Will goes above and beyond walking our hyperactive dog - not every dogsitter will take him running up munros! Jura always comes back impeccably clean and groomed, despite his adventures with Will. We feel absolutely sure that Jura is safe with him, and that he is happy, which makes it so much easier to relax when we go on holiday. Certainly the best dogsitter that we have found, and he is our no. 1 choice when going away.

We have used Wills services to look after Bertie (Border Terrier) regularly , we always feel very comfortable and happy that Bertie is safe and well looked after, Bertie certainly enjoys his stays at Wills and is always excited to see him and Evie.. something that for me, speaks volumes.

Will is fantastic with my 2 spaniels. Always taking them an amazing walk and sending pictures with updates.
I would thoroughly recommend him.
Will has been great stepping in at the last minute to walk them when my work plans have changed. I feel very lucky to know I can count on him ☺️

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend Barklife.

Our puppy attended once a week for several months. She was always happy to go and seemed to enjoy her time there. Will was flexible with timings and short-notice bookings, which we appreciated, and he sometimes sent updates and photos. He was also very accommodating when she started her first season.

However, there were several issues that became more concerning over time, and honestly I wish we listened to our gut insticts:

On the very first scheduled day, Will overslept and did not answer the door. He later apologised and collected her.

On several occasions, our puppy came home with paint or expanding foam on her fur while he was redecorating. He did apologise but paint can be toxic to animals.

Despite clear instructions not to, he repeatedly let her off the lead, then denied doing so even though he had sent us photos showing otherwise.

Most seriously, he left our dog unattended in his car while meeting a new client, despite us explicitly stating that she must not be left in a vehicle except in an emergency. And dogs should never be left in a car under any circumstance.
Based on her AirTag, she remained at that location for over an hour. As a result, she also missed her scheduled dinner which was previously agreed that she would be given at a specific time.

When we raised these concerns, Will changed his account of events, contradicted himself, and dismissed our instructions as “abnormal.” He also made an inappropriate comment stating that our dog was not a child, which we felt was unprofessional and unnecessary. I was really disheartened when I raised concerns that he reacted in the way that he did.

Trust is essential when leaving a young puppy, or dog of any age in someone else’s care. In our experience, instructions were not followed, our concerns were not taken seriously, and ultimately our puppies’ wellbeing was not treated as the priority.

Will is brilliant with our rescue dog Oscar who is very wary of new people. He took the time to get to know him slowly and now Oscar can stay overnight with Will and has a great time when he is with him. I'd absolutely recommend Will to look after your dog and know that your precious pooch will be getting the best care.

We would highly recommend Will at Barklife. Chester had a lovely time with lots of walks and cuddles. We greatly appreciated the regular updates and photos. Will’s dog Eevee is also lovely and was good company for Chester. Will definitely use again.

Barklife was fantastic! Nutkin had a brilliant weekend with them, getting tons of walks and exercise. We really appreciated the regular updates and photos – it was great seeing him so happy. Highly recommend Barklife and will definitely be using them again!

I can't say enough great things about Will! He came through for me at the last minute to watch my dog, Luigi, and did an absolutely fantastic job. Luigi can be a bit anxious in new situations, but Will's calm and caring demeanor put him at ease right away. It's clear that Will has a natural way with animals, and I felt completely comfortable leaving Luigi in his care. When I picked Luigi up, he was happy and relaxed—something I don't take for granted! I highly recommend Will to anyone looking for a responsible, compassionate sitter. Thank you, Will, for taking such great care of Luigi!

We’ve used Will twice - once for a week’s holiday and then for a weekend away, and he’s been amazing. Jura loved his time with Will and the other dogs, and Will was able to keep up with his high energy! Would 100% recommend Will to anyone!

Will was amazing with my 5 yes 5 dogs 😂 he took them all out for walks separately and followed their schedule and personalities to a T. First time hiring Will he was easy to talk to and down to earth you could really tell he loves dogs. He kept me up to date (as asked) with all the dogs hourly. Will definitely hire Will again

Will was just brilliant. I was so worried about leaving our dog Murphy with someone as he has anxiety and has never been to any kennels or boarding before but will was great from the first initial contact with will he put mu mind at ease and when Murphy stayed he send regular updates and pictures and Murphy clearly had a great time. We will 1000% be using will again.

Will was a reall find! He’s been so good with my very active dog- lots of really good energetic walks with him - just what he needs!
I would thoroughly recommend him.
