What is there not to love about Barkmarks? First they have fantastic products with fur babies on them. Then if there’s a question about your order, they have quick response time and quick solutions. Lastly, I even love their packaging— recycled envelopes, cutest stickers and a sweet dog treat for our fuzzy loved ones!!! Plus they donate to a pet charity from their profits!! I absolutely adore this company!! Keep up the great work!!!

They do not show the material the book mark is made from. It appeared to be metal or plastic. But it is some type of fabric.

Hey Jason, we are super bummed you did not receive what you were expecting. We take a lot of pride in the cardstock we use for our bookmarks as it is made from recycled materials that do not contribute to deforestation. We have that explained under the "details" portion of our bookmark page and again on our about us page.
We take a lot of pride in using recycled materials down to our "no tree was harmed" envelopes made out of bamboo we use for shipping.
Our goal is not to mislead anyone. We've sent a special discount code to try to make up for the misunderstanding.

I had a question for the seller and they were very responsive. Easy order and super quick delivery,. Nice packaging and a dog treat sealed in a cute little plastic pouch was an added bonus. Thank you!

Bark marks order
Bark marks did an excellent job of getting my order dispatched quickly as it was to be a Mother’s Day gift for my cousin from her fur kid. I had ordered a small tote and three bark marks. Strangely enough, even though the bark marks were dispatched first, the Tuesday before Mother’s Day, I believe, the tote arrived first, on Friday or Saturday, and the bark marks have not been delivered yet . Today is the Wednesday after Mother’s Day. I know this is due to USPS, not Bark Marks. The bookmarks are adorable; I ordered Scotties for myself and a friend. They are a good company and really try to work with their customers!!

Thanks for the review! We will try to make it more clear that the bookmarks are made out of recycled cardstock that is manufactured using 100% green energy. We take a LOT of pride in the material we use as it is responsibly resourced so we in no way try to hide this information.
We have however offered you a complete replacement of your order as well as after finding out you're a teacher offered to send you out a care package of scraps for your students, so we are super bummer to see a one-star review :(
