After about three months the metal shaft of my cane broke in half. The failure occurred where the two pieces of the canes shaft failed as a result that looked exactly like metal fatigue. The cane was never used with other then normal use. I have tried to contact the company about this matter, but I have had no reply. If the product quality, and the lack of a reply from the company is any indication of Bastoni cane quality, I cannot see myself purchasing from them, or recommending them now or in the future.

My experience with Bastoni has been extremely disappointing from beginning to end.

I ordered a Copper Rhinoceros walking stick with express shipping, but the delivery process took far longer than advertised. Communication was poor, tracking updates were confusing, and when I attempted to cancel before collection due to the delays and concerns, I was told I had to receive the item first.

After finally collecting and assembling the cane, I immediately noticed quality problems. There was visible damage/cracking near one of the joints, and after only a short period of walking the head/top section repeatedly loosened and started coming off during use. The item felt unstable, poorly made, and not reliable at all.

In my opinion, this is not a quality product.

What customers REALLY need to understand before buying is the return process.

If you are unhappy with the item or receive a defective product, you may be required to return it internationally to China at your own expense before any refund is considered. For lower-cost items, this creates a situation where the return shipping can become so expensive and impractical that many customers may feel trapped into keeping an unsatisfactory product.

This is something buyers should be fully aware of BEFORE purchasing.

My advice:

- carefully read the return policy,
- check where returns actually go,
- and think very carefully before ordering from this company.

Unfortunately, based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise avoiding this website completely.

Sub standard product purporting to be European design when in fact it is made and sent from China, long delivery time and cost puportedly £110 reduced to £65 as a special deal. Same item is available from TEMU for £17.50 with free postage. TOTAL RIPOFF
Then they ignore UK distance selling law and tell you to send back to China, even though the return address is Farnham in Surrey. Email says send to China. Chatgpt.com says don't send back to Farnam unless they send a paid return label and return number, or complain to the bank where with the information you have, they will refund your money. DON'T BUY COMPLETE MISREPRESENTATION SCAM

Op 13 april een wandelstok besteld, zou 7 dagen duren met verzenden oké kan altijd wat langer duren dan 7 dagen geen probleem. Inmiddels is het 30 april en nog niks ontvangen zou al op 24 april bij de vervoerder zijn ( geen informatie wie de vervoerder is) maar verder niks , mail gestuurd maar geen respons meer. Ik ga er maar vanuit dat dit een zeer onbetrouwbaar bedrijf is en hoe mooi ze zich ook voordoen ik raad aan hier niks te bestellen dit bedrijf is zeer onbetrouwbaar en als je hier toch besteld kijk dan niet raar op als er niks geleverd wordt.ik heb 65 euro weggegooid, les voor anderen BESTEL hier nooit

Bought a cane as a Christmas gift. Placed order on December 13 because the shipping information estimated 5-7 work days for delivery. On the 22nd it’s still in China. The tracking on the website cleverly omits the provenance, but other trackers don’t. “Customer support” doesn’t reply to emails. Despite the fancy-looking website, it’s likely just another drop shipping store.

UPDATE 2026-01-03

I got a reply from customer support on the 30th explaining that my email ended up in the spam folder and justifying the delay with the high volume of orders and weather conditions.

The cane was delivered yesterday, and as I came to expect, the quality doesn’t warrant its €50+price tag.

So, although not an actual scam, I’d look elsewhere for real high-quality products.
