We kept waiting for “it gets better” when it came to sleep, but “it” never happened. We were exhausted from the multiple night wakings that were happening every 30m to 2hrs throughout the night. As a result, we resorted to bed-sharing to give us all a better chance of getting rest. However, bed-sharing became a challenge because our baby was attached to the breast the whole night and, eventually, it seemed as if baby was no longer getting good rest. Finally, at 4 months, we decided to move forward with doing sleep training.

We started with using a combination of a gradual cry-it-out (checking-in every 3m) and our soothing strategies (nursing or rocking to sleep). We not only got the WORST nights of sleep, but the gradual cry-it-out method never made sense to us — why gradually increase the amount of time (3m, 5m, 10m) if baby doesn’t know how to cope? We were desperate for a solution to getting sleep during the night.

Thankfully, we found Batelle! We started in Batelle Babies (at 4 months) which helped us establish a sleep foundation for baby, but it was not until we joined Batelle Sleep School (at 6 months) that we finally started sleeping through the night. We were surprised that their method worked! We are very thankful to the The Batelle Team, who were all very friendly and supportive throughout the ups and downs of this journey.

You are wonderful. You were our anchor during those impossible early days, over-the top, out-of-your-way, incredible listeners, and then, miraculously, you turned our stories into actionable, how-do-they-do-it miracle fixes for everything we threw at you, because you were kind and merciful enough to link every problem under the sun and moon back to sleep. I can’t thank you enough.

Batelle saved us. I was sleeping 45-min stretches up all night with our 5 month old and I wasn’t a human anymore. We needed help. But it was critically important to me to avoid cry-it-out. So my husband did tons of research and found the program. Everyone was so amazing, gentle, kind, and helpful. The Ring camera was CLUTCH. And it worked. Like a magic trick, if my daughter wakes at night now, my husband sings a mantra over the monitor and she goes back to sleep as if the sound of his voice is an instant baby sleeping pill. It took lots of slow, gentle practice and was a gradual process (intentionally) to make her feel very safe and comfortable in her crib. She knew then and still knows that if she calls for us we will respond. And yet she chooses sleep herself. Literal lifesavers. It’s so amazing how international the Batelle team is, but that part also makes me sad because I’ll probably never get to meet these amazing people in person, and I really want to hug them all. They will be a huge part of my baby’s childhood story forever. Eternally grateful.

We were at our wit’s end when our 6-month-old baby girl refused to sleep through the night, leaving us sleep-deprived and exhausted. The decision to enroll in sleep school turned out to be a game-changer, and we owe it all to the incredible team at Batelle. Their round-the-clock professional support and guidance became our lifeline, infusing us with the motivation and energy we needed to persevere.
Navigating the delicate balance between not wanting to push our baby too hard and being unable to bear her cries, we embarked on a 3-week sleep training journey which often takes no more than 2-weeks. The patience and expertise of the specialists at Batelle were evident throughout. Miraculously, within these 3 weeks, our little one transformed from waking up every 45 minutes to peacefully sleeping through the night.

Previously, our nights were filled with constant awakenings, endless rocking, and soothing attempts. Now, she’s achieved the incredible milestone of self-soothing and sleeping independently.

Our son has never been a good sleeper and after 2.5 years I was desperate. My husband was super skeptical about this program but we needed a program that would be a tiebreaker between our "what should we do now" disagreements. After completing all the steps we've gone from our 2.5 year old jumping out of bed, 2+ hour bed times, hour long wake ups in the middle of the night and 5:30am wake ups to staying in bed all night, 10-15 min bed times, no wake ups and 6:30am wake ups, a HUGE win for us!! Honestly having someone pop in on the monitor and coach you through screaming fits was the X factor, but the hug and light were HUGE components of helping our 2.5 year old get to sleep. He gets so excited about the colors of the light and I get so excited that I won't be woken up at 3am every day.

I haven’t gotten uninterrupted sleep in over 4 years. When I had my second child, I knew something needed to be done. I did EXTENSIVE research before deciding on Batelle. Loved everyone on the team, so helpful and gentle <3 With their support and encouragement, this program worked like a miracle on my 9mo!!! My 4yo was a bit more challenging but still only took the 2 weeks to get him to sleep on his own and almost through the night! If it’s working on my 4 year old boy who was cosleeping with me since he was a baby, I genuinely think it’ll work on any child!!

My child just turned 2 and was hit or miss when it came to “sleeping through the night.” He was rocked to sleep every night since he was a baby and as of recently, would wake and cry as he was being transferred to the crib which required my husband or I to either fall asleep with him in the rocking chair or unsuccessfully try every hour or so to transfer him and hope he didn’t wake. Something needed to change because obviously this was not how things should be at 2…enter Batelle… I literally signed up as I was stuck in my sons rocking chair as we were having another failed nap. To say I am blown away that my son is now able to be put in a crib with minimal fuss and put himself to sleep is an understatement. I never thought I would see the day. The app is super useful and informative… sleep school is not only for your child it’s for the parents as well, but there is a lot to learn and it all comes together.. I would recommend batelle over and over again and now with baby #2 on the way I will not hesitate to sign up again as soon as she is of sleep training age!!

The program is difficult more than you can imagine, BUT, the results speak for themselves. Before starting my wife and I were running with 4-5 hours of sleep combined, multiple wakings, difficulty in napping and bedtime, but after starting the program (our little one was about 18 weeks old) and starting to implement the teachings slowly, we gradually saw a huge improvement. I'm talking full night sleep, independent settling at bedtime, 10-15 minutes at the max to settle for the naps, and we're happier and more relaxed. I'd recommend Batelle to anyone who'd listen.

Game changing. Worth every penny. My twins went from tag-teaming each other to sleep (which meant no sleep for me) to sleeping 12 hours a night! I still pinch myself.

I fully intended to be receiving a refund at the end of our sleep school journey but IT WORKED! It absolutely worked in helping us all get better sleep! I will be recommending Batelle to everyone. At 15 months, our LO still had 1-2 hour bedtimes of needing to be held to sleep, multiple wake ups and feeds during the night, waking when transferring to crib, and just a complete lack of sleep…my husband and I were in desperate need of some help. We were against any form of leaving her to cry it out so we tried out Batelle and have been so happy with her progress!! She can independently fall asleep, can sleep through the night, and we have weaned night feedings! The investment was worth every penny. The team is fantastic, super knowledgeable and helpful. I can’t recommend Batelle enough.

Batelle is amazing and a gift! It is not easy, but it is worth every minute! My child is 8 months old and I thought he would never sleep all night. I was so impressed to learn and grow with my child each step of the way. He not only learned to sleep, but we also learned how to connect emotionally. If the steps are followed and you utilize all the tools available- chat, app content, room set up, etc- results will follow! I was able to wean constantly night nursing every hour or two, help my child sleep on their crib all night, settle himself, and stay asleep. We really didn’t believe it was possible and then step by step he accomplished each goal. Thank you to the entire Batelle team!!

Sleep had been very difficult for us and after trying so many different things, we decided to go with Batelle. Our baby almost 7 months transitioned so well. It was really really hard the first few nights, but I felt so supported with the 24-hour support and we eased into it all, centering connection. We’ve been working with the ongoing support sleep coach on and off as we big changes comes up and I feel so grateful to be able to reach out when we need. River now sleep 12-13 hours over night and 1.5-2 hours for her day time nap. It’s also helped me to just center her sleep as part of our daily routine and trust that when big transitions comes, and sleep gets tough, I really know it will all settle and we’ll find our rhythm again. Also sleep changed many times over the last almost year since doing Batelle. We went from 3-4 naps to 1 nap and night sleep went from 9-10 hours to 12-13 hours. I also kept one night nurse for a long time until I was ready to wean night feeds. Again we called in for support and while that was so tough to wean night nursing, I felt really supported. There have been some really tough moments (baby got COVID combined with travel and sleep went out the door for what felt like a month) but having the support of our one one one calls just helped ease my worry and settled back into the trust that things would find rhythm again. The focus on balancing your own nervous system as a parent is just also so helpful for all other things parenting. Now our baby is almost 19 months old and our routine doesn’t so much like it when we started, so for any parents that feel overwhelmed by needing to do it just right, I promise there is so much flexibility once baby trusts that sleep is safe place. So appreciative of the support. 🙏🏽

Batelle was a lifesaver and worth every penny. I didn’t fully my daughter would get to the place where we are now: a solid happy bedtime routine and then I can say goodnight and close the door! The round-the-clock messaging was truly such a life-line. Highly recommend!

Sleep training is never easy, but having Batelle there to help us through was what made us go from unpredictable bedtimes and 5-6 wake ups a night, to consistent bedtimes and sleeping through the night. After two weeks in the program, we went on a long vacation that eventually derailed much of our progress but when we got home and reached out to the Batelle team, they got us back on track and supported us back to our goals. They keep you part of the program and continue to provide resources without making you feel rushed. I was concerned that if we didn't reach our goals in 2 weeks that we would be out of luck, much to my surprise, we did reach our goals after those 2 weeks and then when we needed the extra help, they were still there for us. Great program and great people. Be ready to commit to the program when you start, it's definitely all-in to achieve your goals.

We recently enrolled our 8-month-old baby in Batelle Sleep School, and we are so glad we did! The program was very comprehensive and helped us to understand the different aspects of sleep training and how to implement them in a way that was gentle and effective for our child.
We were really impressed with the tools and resources that Batelle provided us. We also received some tools which helped us to create a consistent and calming bedtime routine for our child.
We also appreciated the 24/7 support that Batelle offered. We were able to contact our sleep consultant with any questions or concerns, and she was always available to help us.
Overall, we had a great experience with Batelle Sleep School. Our child is now sleeping through the night, and we are so grateful for the help that we received. We highly recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with sleep training.

The program worked just as they promised. I would just caution that if you have multiples, the program needs to accommodate this and the app is set for one child at a time. We have triplets but fortunately we just had to deal with our two girls and our son was already sleeping the whole night. I will also say that this will take work on the part of the parents/caretakers. Just jump in and push for the two weeks of boot camp. Overall the training felt like magic. It really starts to work quickly which is motivating to keep going.

Our sweet baby, Beau, loved to only sleep on us for naps and night. Batelle helped us first solve the nights, and then transition to a crib, and then naps. Beau now sleeps 7:30pm to 7:30am with an occasional visit to settle him in crib, but we never have to rock him anymore. He trusts his crib and loves it! His naps are great too. We were not one of the worst cases but Beau is now a fantastic sleeper, and we owe a lot to Batelle.

Went through the process with constant communication, support, and much needed encouragement. THEN our adorable little monster had a STRONG relapse and decided to forget everything we worked so hard to teach him. Fortunately Batelle staff were with us the whole way and worked with us from the beginning again and we've had an amazing bedtime routine ever since. Batelle personnel are always there and ready to help at a moments notice. Overall it was an amazing experience filled with lots of hard work and consistency. It was a complete surprise to my wife and I. We were admittedly skeptical at the start and still believe wholeheartedly that we have a top tier, difficult kiddo. There's a lot of progress to still be made with tantrums, reactions, eating, etc. But we now have 1 less thing to worry constantly about... and it was a BIG one. He sleeps. He sleeps all night long. It's great. Trust the process. Trust Batelle.

Worth every penny. You have to trust the process and really commit - but once you do, it truly works. We tried what felt like everything, including a lot of approaches marketed as 'gentle sleep training' that were just cry it out with a nicer name. The Batelle method truly is unique, gentle, and teaches sleep as a skill rather than a one time learned behavior. We went through both Batelle babies and the sleep school program, and couldn't have been more impressed or grateful for the support and kindness we received throughout both processes. The method absolutely requires more time, patience, and work than alternatives out there, but getting to our ultimate goal of sleeping through the night in a way that I actually felt good about was absolutely worth it. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Fantastic program with clear communication. The 24hr live assistance is priceless and creates a sense of calm over the whole process. We went from bed sharing with twins for over a year and successfully sleep trained at 18months with minimal stress on parent or child. HIGHLY recommend this sleep school!
