Great service always

Best tasting coffee in this country I have subscribed and received my coffee on time and better coffee than the big brands

I had a very disappointing experience at the Meadowhall branch due the aggressive blond hair manager!
I came to Bean to buy a coffee and was served by Matt. During our conversation, I simply said that if he was ever looking for a job, to let me know. He later came to my workplace of his own accord to ask about the role, and I gave him an email address to send his CV to. At no point was he pressured or encouraged to do anything inappropriate.
When I returned to the Meadowhall store the following day as a paying customer to buy another coffee, the manager confronted me at the till, in front of other customers, and accused me of "poaching staff," claiming that what I was doing was illegal. I politely explained that this is not illegal, but she continued to argue with me in a confrontational manner.
I found the whole interaction extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. Regardless of any concerns the manager may have had, confronting and accusing a paying customer publicly was completely inappropriate. If she had concerns, a private conversation would have been the professional way to handle the situation.
I expect to be treated with respect when shopping, and I certainly don't expect to be publicly accused of wrongdoing when I have done nothing unlawful. This experience has left a very poor impression of the Meadowhall branch, and because of the way I was treated, I won't be returning.

But I also need to acknowledge Rose who made a pretty rubbish day of mine last week special, with a little human touch written on my cup after we'd chatted over my order.

Again, I also love my chats with the witty and delightful Georgia, she is lovely and brightens my day.

Your baristers are a credit to your company, they are not just doing a job, they are creating excellent coffee, serving great food, with humour, wit and basic human kindness!

Something we all need more of in the sometimes difficult world to live in.

My husband and I have been enjoying our daily coffee made from "Bean blend" beans for sometime now. We like the taste, quality, consistency, service and etc.
We had some visitors from abroad a few weeks ago staying at our house. They couldn't praise these coffee beans enough saying its one of the best coffee they ever had. I thought my Jura coffee machine will explode:-), nearly 1kg of coffee beans were gone in 3 days. And that says it all!
