Made a "one to one" day with Shannon to fine-tune all things espresso related and the experience was great. A lot of international experience as a barista and training, so whatever is your level/skills/position you will learn and upgrade your skills!! Bonus is the fantastic person she and Nick are. You'll have a great time. Definitely recommended.

Shannon and Nick were so helpful when making decisions about what coffee to use, machines to buy and how to set up our space. They have helped us through the various stages and changes since we opened our cafe last year. We had a lot of problems in the beginning with an old coffee machine, which they repeatedly helped us to fix and make work before we decided to buy a new one. And then they taught us how to use and manage the new machine. So they have consistently been with us and supported us since the beginning. Now, as we build up our team, they have been instrumental in training our staff.

Shan and Nick are fantástic to work with, they helped train the baristas at our cafe. They also held several trainings and workshops out of the cafe that were very well organized and taught people with no experience how to pull espressos, latte art and more. Definitely recommend them!

Amazing team, learn with you guys is something special, with your patience and your teaching skills you transform random people in good baristas. Nick and Shan thank you for sharing your knowledge with me, you're the best ❤️

Shannon and Nick were great. I was worried that the level.of training would be too advanced for what I was needing at my food led cafe. My concerns were immediately put to rest as they took the time to get a feel for the cafe and ethos and really listen our needs. The training was informative and fun and resulted in all my staff have a far greater confidence and understanding how the skills behind a good coffee. They offered some really great advice on simple changes we could make resulting in a much better coffee experience for our customers.

I did the Latte Art Workshop today at their nice and cosy venue and am still totally inspired and excited. Shannon and Nick put so much love and passion into this, that it is just a wonderful time and experience above learning in a relaxed, but still focused and very professional way how to do Latte Arts. They both know exactly what they do and I can really highly recommend this workshop from the heart. Learn from, get inspired by and have fun with them, you will not regret it!

I've had the privilege to share some time with Shanon and her passion for coffee. She makes you think about coffee in depth, to experiment not only with your mouth but your brain. Knowing whats behind your everyday drink leads you to make better choices, and one's that actually go with the soul of the coffee community. The same soul and sensitivity Shanon put in my barista training in Portugal. And you can see the love she pours in every cup she makes, and how much time and care she has devoted to what her magic hands can do now. Cause coffee tastes better when it's made with love. And I'm so grateful for this opportunity, I recommend it as the amazing experience it was🩷

I used to be just a regular person like any other, sitting in coffee shops, drinking the coffee and not thinking much else after that but then one day Shan, jokingly, asked me if I would like to join her as a barista, and I thought "sure why not" so then I walked into her workplace with 0 knowledge about coffee and almost zero to no interest in it and Shan received me with an open heart and showed me her world. Shannon was the most patient and understanding teacher I have ever had, never once did she make me feel uncapable or dumb, no matter how many times she explained things to me did she ever express that she was irritated or bothered instead she showed me compassion and that my mistakes did not mean that I failed, it meant I kept going no matter what and she stood by my side and motivated me to keep trying. I am greatful to this lovely person that not only shaped me into a capable barista but also helped me become a better version of myself.

A great latte art course. Nick and Shan worked well together to give everyone in the small group individual attention. Really looking forward to another Beany Bunch event.

Usually seeing the machine from the customer‘s side, this workshop was a chance for me to switch sides and try out the barista‘s point of view. I had never steamed or poured milk before – but with Nick‘s instruction was able to create a simple latte art pattern after just two hours, so satisfying.

Nick is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to coffee, but manages to break everything down into digestible chunks, so that I and the others were able to give this craft a shot 😉 step by step – all while having fun doing so!
