Beaver Soil ‘N’ Mulch Limited Opiniones 1858

£300 worth of compost came 4 weeks after buying from Beaver, after what was supposed to be 3-5 days delivery. Every call to Beaver took over an hour to get through. They just could not handle demand :(
Eventually received weeks later
Suffice to say I had to get compost elsewhere in the interim period or my trees/plants waiting to be planted would not have survived..

No compost no refund!!!

had to contact trading standards and fraud action and my bank to get a refund avoid this company at all cost as they are ripping people off in a time of financial crisis for everyone what low lifes

Delivery should have been 2-4 days as advertised came after a week. Soil had lots of clumps of un composted fibrous material

My order kept getting delayed, eventually I cancelled it, they said it was already on the way and I couldn't cancel. I called
Palletways who informed me that my compost was still with Beaver. When I informed Beaver of this they emailed saying my order was cancelled and refunded, which to this date, no refund has appeared. A dispute with Beaver has been opened via Paypal. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!

Delivered quickly. Well packaged and the product was of excellent quality.

The manure was fine but the delivery was very slow, ordered in March, received in May

Took weeks to get the soil delivered with little to no updates. Spent ages on the phone chasing up, with constant guarantees it will be with me the following day, which it never was. Paid for next day delivery, which they refunded after it wasn't met.

Do not use this company they take your money and do not deliver your order, they will give you a number to ring when you email them and that doesn't work.
They will just take your money

Sadly this company seems to have stopped trading as previous soil orders were good. My order never arrived, and website and phone lines now down. My credit card company have refunded the cost of the order.

Very pleased with the bag sizes and the quality, delivery was quick and at a reasonable cost and I will use the again would recommend.

Great quality compost, it was a bit pricy, however this year my plants are growing really well. The next day delivery service is also great!

Our order was very late in being delivered. We had to chase up Beaver to find out what was happening. The compost itself wasn't sweet smelling as though not completely composted.

The delivery was delayed twice, once because of drivers, then they said a machine broke down. So far we have found a kitchen knife and a bunch of plastic in the compost. I mean it's ok, stuff will grow but I have definitely had better quality and fast service from elsewhere.

Ordering online on 20th April was easy. When the expected delivery window of 4-7 days was well passed I tried to phone on 29th April to ask when I could expect to receive my delivery. I waited on hold on the phone for 2 hours (yes, really) so sent an email with a screenshot of the said phone call and asked for someone to get in touch. I received an email apologising and was told that they had emailed customers re delays due to a vital piece of machinery breaking down and apologising that I did not also receive this. I was given an earliest delivery date of 11th May. I confirmed via email that this was what I’d have to go with if there was no availability before that. As it was a BH weekend I just got an out of office. I then heard nothing so rang again on 10th May and received an email telling me my compost was arriving the next day, which unfortunately it did not.I actually received the compost on 12th. Doesn’t matter how good the compost is the experience was so off-putting that I would not recommend, nor will I use again.

After a very very long wait for delivery, the quality of the product is poor. It’s full of stones. It looks like it’s just been dug straight out of someone’s garden, perhaps due to a building project. Not impressed!

This was the 3rd (and final) order from this company. During lockdown had 2 orders, communication was perfect and was kept informed what was happening. This time not so.

After paying, heard nothing, called 2 days after the expected delivery date to get told "a machine has broken in the yard" and given a new delivery date 10 days later. Then get another email saying there was an issue with the delivery company so the 2nd appointment was missed. Couldn't get anyone on the phone, so emailed to say if it was delivered withing 2 days then I'd reverse payment.

Nothing back from them, but it turned up 2 days later. Was the wrong stuff. I had ordered organic material, but got a mixture of that and topsoil - which roasted the levels of my beds....

Don't know what's happened, but this company was recommended to me. Very much won't be using them (or anyone in their group) again.
