We felt that Cindy was very clear in explaining everything that we need to do to make Our little dog a happier relaxed creature. She spent so much time with us that our heads are buzzing!! Thankfully she emailed everything to us so we can follow things through.

We found Behavet online (not via vet referral) and was assured by the team that as we had "behavior" coverage in our insurance policy these sessions would be covered by insurance. They also told us that they would take care of the claim & set up our sessions.

More than 6 months later, I hear that the insurance company have closed the claim and I have had to do days of admin with the vet, insurance company and Accounting team at Behavet to get the claim re-opened.

Behavet have not made it clear (after asking several times) if I am liable to pay for the sessions we had or if I am liable for getting the insurance coverage - they have put me under a lot of pressure even though their Ts&Cs do not state that this is my responsibility.

Note that this has happened more than 6 months after the sessions. Before this time, I had assumed it was all sorted by them as per their initial comms & advertising.

In summary, the value we got from 2 online sessions was not worth all the hassle I'm now facing in the aftermath and definitely not worth c£1k claim that's gone to the insurance company....I still don't know what will happen if the claim is not successful & if they expect me to cover the cost if the claim is rejected.

I would not recommend or use again.

Much of the information provided can be found freely online, and email support is not particularly helpful during vet appointments or challenging moments where immediate guidance is needed.
The suggestion to record videos for review is also unrealistic in practice.

Given the cost of a £650 session, we felt it would be better spent on a more comprehensive support package that offers ongoing guidance rather than a standalone consultation.

Please consider that before booking as you can have someone come to your house for much cheaper price and get to know your dog, work with your dog to help them rather than judge them from what you say about them. They never seen my dog , and asked so many irrelevant questions about his poo texture and consistency instead of helping him to be less stressed during annual vaccination... irrelevant..

Dr Ellie was so kind and accommodating, she explained things well and if I had any questions she was extremely informative. Her advice was very useful and I feel a lot more confident with learning more about my pups behaviour.

Dr. Rachel was absolutely amazing, tapping into exactly what I was looking for in order to make progress with my dog's struggles. The clinicians at BehaVet have a real talent in working with people struggling with their dogs. Not only do they provide much needed explanations and activities, but they provide a sympathetic approach that really helps me to move forward in a positive way with my dogs.

I wss very impressed with my experience from start to finish. The team were so helpful and efficient from the first point of contact. I was given first class advice from Celyn the vet and was made to feel so comfortable. This us the start of a very important journey for myself and Lottie and it will be so much easier with the wonderful team.

Good experience - the vet we spoke to understood our problems and issues and gave us a series of tasks designed to reduce the anxiety, set boundaries and increase the settled state of our dog so that he sleeps for more than the current 8-10 hours a day. We'll see how we go, but the signs are good so far.

Very useful and informative.

I was recently referred to Behavet by my vet to help with my dog’s noise-related issues, and so far my experience has been very positive. After the referral, they got in touch promptly and worked really hard to accommodate my busy schedule when arranging an initial phone call, which I really appreciated.
I’ve since had my first consultation, and it was extremely informative. I was asked very thorough questions about my dog’s past and present, as well as his daily routine, which made me feel like they genuinely wanted to understand him as an individual. I was given a lot of helpful information along with clear training methods to start our journey in helping my dog feel more comfortable and confident.
Overall, I felt listened to, supported, and reassured, and I’m looking forward to continuing working with the team.

I cannot thank Behavet and Dr Lily enough for Archie’s transformation. I initially contacted them after Archie had a difficult experience with a vet and would no longer enter any vet’s consulting room. As a result of our time with Dr Lily, Archie will now allow a vet to check him over, and so we moved on to other areas that he struggles with. These include working on his fear of fireworks where I now have the tools to help him through this fear, and a big one for me is that I can Dremel his front toes including dew claws. One other area that Dr Lily tackled was noise reactivity which turned out to be pain related. None of these changes would have been possible without the appropriate games and strategies being introduced for Archie.
At all times, Dr Lily has listened to me and guided me through all the steps that have been needed to find the best way forward with Archie.

The doctor was detailed and listened well, and went over our scheduled time by about 20 minutes to ensure that she had said everything and was being clear.

Dr Cindy listened to my worries and gave simple and effective suggestions to try. The supportive emails after are great also.

Really listened, gave great advice and excercises

Behavet has been incredibly easy to do business with from start to finish. The process was smooth, well organised, and stress-free. Dr Victoria was absolutely fantastic — she took the time to clearly explain my dog’s behaviour in a way that was easy to understand and reassuring. She didn’t just tell us what was happening, but why, and gave us practical, achievable steps to help change it. I left feeling confident, supported, and hopeful. I can’t recommend Behavet and Dr Victoria highly enough.

A responsive and professional service. Behavet was there for us when we needed support and advice for our adolescent dog. They did not disappoint in the least !

Such amazing and helpful advice and guidance. I already feel more confident and ready to help my pup with his reactivity :)

Very friendly and professional. The knowledge is excellent and makes sense and the advice on training makes it fun for myself and my reactive fur baby.
