AVOID, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. If I could take the last star away I would.... I ordered a side to my pergola and I seriously wish I hadn't..... The photo looked great and I couldn't wait for it to arrive. What arrived however was something a small child made and 100% unfit for purpose. I made contact with the company who said I could have a better quality one or a refund.... That was the last I heard, I have tried on numerous occasions to contact again to no avail...... Please avoid at all costs, no amount of emails, calls or threatening legal action gets you anywhere.... I can't understand how these companies get away with taking your money and sending shite then ghosting you when you reach out for a refund.... I have learnt the hard way that they are scammers. SO AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID and AVOID again, don't this these scammers your hard earned money.

We recently bought a Sibley 5m Traveller Bell Tent. The pre-sales service was excellent and our various questions and phone calls were all answered politely and fully. The tent and ancillary equipment were delivered very quickly. On inspection the kit looks to be of top quality. In all an exemplary service provided with helpful professionalism. We would not hesitate to buy from this company again.

I bought a canvas tent from them and I am impressed with the quality of the fabric, groundsheet and accessories. Highly recommended!

OK, some awful reviews on here, I ordered a 4m x 4m canvas awning to use over an eating area, it came within 2 days of purchase, the stitching, eyes and loops are all very good quality and well made. If anything I think it's slightly over engineered. The awning was useful as it gave me an opportunity to look at the workmanship before committing to buy a tent. But I'm happy with my product, if they make the tent to the same standard all well and good.

My 5m bell tent red and white leaks and the ground sheet has two holes in it. The whole tent is not fit for purpose. Pay a bit more and find a reputable company.

I ordered a tent then heard nothing for weeks. When it arrived, it was poorly made, with rubbish zips and guys that clearly wouldn't last and weren't fit for purpose. The material was a strange slightly pink colour, and didn't look or feel like other canvas tents. I strongly suspect it's actually a synthetic mix or some other material.

I decided to send it straight back but no replies to the email address or phone listed on the website. The only replies I got were to the Hotmail account and phone number printed on the original delivery label. However the phone only worked once, and after that they seemed to have blocked my number.

I was relieved the return delivery made it through - on the first day the address was locked up. I then waited for the allowed 14 days for a refund and heard nothing. I only got responses when threatening a credit card chargeback. Finally, over two months after my original order, I've got my money back and can order from a more reputable company.

I wish I'd checked here first - the only positive reviews for this company seem to be people who have ONLY reviewed this company...

Ordered a 5m Bell tent with flu hole and received a 4m, emailed the company on 3 different email address's, phoned the number on the website and sent a letter recorded delivery to the address on the website and had no response. Now in contact with trading standards and the consumer ombudsman who will be assessing this further. Cant be allowed to get away with this especially when there so many other company's trying hard to make a living x

I ordered a tent from these goons on December 13th and upon payment i received an email saying that they have received payment!
Since then i have contacted them several times, about 20, and i haven't received a single response, not so much as a word, from them. it's now January 20th. I have been trying to get in touch for over a month, countless emails and phone calls and nothing! i might as well have set fire to my money for all i know, i don't know if these people are a scam or not!
There are about 5 different companies connected to them...Glamaxx, glamptex, sabritex, shumaxx and several others! Why i have no idea, you would think that just one company would be enough, there is definitely something off about them, several companies connected to each other, several supposed business locations...something wrong there! I would imagine that the reason there are so much companies connected is that whoever the useless person who is running things is has something to blame his failures on or somewhere to pass the blame to so as to refuse to accept responsibility for the fact that they are all useless, with super poor customer service. That or there is some sort of money laundering or scam taking place, pfft, wouldn't surprise me.............................................................................................................a whole month of politely trying to contact and nothing but complete ignorance, someone has to pass the message on and get it know to the masses to avoid these people like the plague!

I found Bell-tents.co.uk to be 1 of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. I ordered a Bell tent but after reading poor reviews of the company & it's products I quickly emailed them to cancel the order. I got no reply so sent a further 2 emails requesting cancellation but again got no reply. Despite cancelling the order the tent arrived a while later. I inspected the tent & found it to be very poorly made with a number of manufacturing faults. I reported this to Bell-tents.co.uk & requested that it be returned. I received no reply time after time. I eventually got a reply when I threatened to claim a refund via my credit card company. I got excuse after excuse from this company & found the service to be appalling & the product not fit for purpose. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Beautiful tent just love! Excellent customer service...

The tent is beautiful though a different colour than in photo. When we put it up there are flaws in the canvas but it didn't leak despite lots of rain. However the zip around the bottom was stiff and kept getting caught so I emailed. I was eventually given a £25 discount but actually some zip glide would have been more useful as I see now that they sell that. Surely zips should have that on when they come out? After only 8 nights we unzipped the bottom past the door and then the zip stopped matching up. If you go backwards and forwards a few times it re connects but not fully. I emailed ten days ago to ask about getting it fixed before our family holiday, no answer, tried the phone line, left a message, then messenger. I then got an answer asking for my order number then nothing since. I am very concerned that we have wasted our hard earned cash and that we may have been better to spend a little more, elsewhere in the first place. Bell tents please get your act together!
Since posting this I did get a response apologising for the delay and suggesting zip glide and or a replacement zip glider so will give them a go.

I ordered a tent.
A week later still no dispatch update.
Called on phone number on website... no answer.
Emailed address on website... no response.

Found different email address and emailed that... got a response saying they had the tent in stock and they would be sending it soon.

Two weeks later, it has still not been dispatched and I have had no update about it.

Called on another number from an email and they said it had been collected by DPD yesterday. They said they would send the tracking number by email... they didn't send it!

Called again to request the tracking number or cancel my order. They said they would send the tracking number... again this did not happen!!

I am now trying to get a refund. Have to find money to buy another tent at short notice.
Not f'kin happy!!!

We ordered a tent from this website last month. It was delivered within 2 days. Me and my kids are so glad with the quality of tent as we had a wonderful experience on our camping trip recently. Canvas is of high quality, zips used are quite durable and pvc groundsheet is quite strong and soft. Therefore, i would recommend the company.

I am seriously disappointed with the level of customer service from bell-tents.co.uk.
I bought a 5 metre tent which arrived two weeks after I ordered and went to my neighbours address, which meant waiting another 3 days for the company to redeliver.
We put the tent up and it had stitching lose in two places, plus a small tear in the eyelet at the top of the door frame. I could not get through on the phone, just went to answerphone so left messages, emailed them several times before getting a response.. someone replied asking for photos which I promptly sent back... and after another two weeks, left messages and emails and have had nothing. Feel like I've wasted £450.

I ordered a bell tent from this company and the website and products are interesting; the prices are good and the website looks nice but the customer service is non existent. I couldn't get any details of delivery as I was ordering but there seemed to be information that would follow after payment. I immediately got a confirmation email saying delivery details would follow. After a few days I tried to contact the company about a possible delivery date as I was leaving on holiday ( for which I needed the tent! ) but had only a standard reply to say I would be contacted soon.
I then sent several more emails and I tried to phone but all my calls went straight to answerphone and the landline number didn't work. After 5 days of trying to contact them about a possible delivery date, I tried to cancel the order, but again no response. As I still didn't know if my tent would arrive on time for my holiday, I ordered another tent from Belle Tent Boutique ( which was delivered the next day on their standard delivery without any problems)
Now, even after trying very hard to cancel or return this order I was contacted by a delivery company to say that my tent is going to be delivered, 11days after I paid for the tent. I will already be away on holiday, but as I can't contact the vendor, the delivery can't be stopped.
Its been a stressful and unpleasant experience, and I recommend to stay away from this company. I tried to work out where this company was based or who it belonged to, and the name of another company, Sabritex is also linked but I still couldn't get in contact with anyone
