As first timers to India we could not have used a better holiday company. Bespoke were brilliant throughout, Himanshu and Anshi were excellent organisers and all the BIT reps were exactly where they were supposed to be at all times. The guides were all professional, knowledgeable and engaging and our driver Mr Kartar was a complete delight. His driving skills and calm demeanour enabled us to relax and enjoy the crazy traffic of Delhi! We enjoyed his snippets of information and his engagement with our bird spotting attempts!
We would definitely use this company again and would 100% recommend them.

We trusted our holiday to Bespoke India based on other reviews and Responsible Travel’s. We are so glad we did. Our three week holiday, with a complex and unusual itinerary including Kolkata, Varanasi and Lucknow as well as South India, was meticulously planned and executed for us. Excellent locally- owned hotels and homestays, as we had wanted. Splendid and professional guides and drivers, and a mix of lovely train journeys too. The level of knowledge and care which Anil and his team offered, as well as their responsive communication at all times, was exceptional. We would recommend Bespoke India to anyone contemplating a trip there.

We travelled to Kerala at Christmas and the agency recommended the 'Authentic Kerala Tour' to us.
From the moment we arrived at the airport, everything was perfectly organised, and we were assisted in changing money and buying a SIM card. Soon after, we went on a fantastic guided tour of Cochin. Every stage of the tour was perfectly organised, so we didn't have to worry about anything. We asked for additional activities, such as visiting an Ayurvedic spa, seeing a doctor, visiting temples and watching a Kalaripayattu show, and our guide and driver Vinu were more than happy to oblige. We would also like to recommend this company for the great hotels and homestays included in the tour. All the staff were kind and ready to help at any time! In particular we want to thank Anil Chauhan for the perfect organization as everything went smoothly and exactly as described in the tour programme.

My two children and I decided to go to India over the Christmas holidays, and we reached out to Bespoke India Travel less than two weeks prior to when we wanted to start our trip. Despite the holiday period being an extremely busy travel time, Anil was able to plan a trip that included everything we wanted to do, even Tiger Safaris that book up for in advance. From the time we arrived, every detail was seen to, with guides available to us for all of our stops. Our guide in Agra at the Taj Mahal was truly excellent. Additionally, our driver was phenomenal-he gave us suggestions, accommodated any requests we had and even kept a snack basket full in the car that my kids took advantage of frequenly. Overall, the attention to detail made this one of our most memorable trips we've been on, and excited to come back to India to travel more. We would definitely work with Anil and Bespoke India Travel again for future trips in the area!

Himanshu Joshi was my representative at Bespoke India. From the very beginning I was confident that he was the right person. After an initial discussion he put together an amazing itinerary based on our requirements. He was really helpful in making the changes I requested and kept me informed always. My husband and I used their services, not for a tour but to book a backwater rice boat cruise in Kerala. Something which was part of a tour but as we’ve already been in Kerala we just wanted the cruise.
Their advises were excellent and helpful to choose the right boat and cruise length. We decided on a 3 nights with Lake&Lagoons.
A taxi was organised to pick us up at our hotel in Kochi and an agent from Bespoke India Travel was also there to greet us and gave us a welcoming pack including a rack of spices. Soooo nice and professional.
As for the cruise, it was above and beyond all our expectations. Magical! The staff, the food, the overall experience,… Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a trip that will change your perspective on the world, my three week journey through northern and southern India would Bespoke India Travel was it. It was a trip of a lifetime. When I first contacted Himanshu regarding this trip, he began months of working with me without me feeling like I was putting him out. He was incredibly helpful to make this trip happen.
I started the trip in southern India. The landscape was a vibrant endless green. It was relaxed and spiritually rich. Drifting through the Kerala Backwaters on a traditional houseboat was absolutely awesome. The views and the food were incredible.
The temples were architectural marvels that felt “alive” with tradition.
The people were so friendly and helpful.
The guide and the driver were exemplary. The depth of knowledge regarding the architecture and history was something else. They were both a joy to be around – patient, helpful, always willing to answer my questions, and protective. The driver navigated the roads expertly, especially given the winding roads and chaotic city traffic. I felt safe as a passenger. The car was always spotlessly, clean and stocked with water. They both were always waiting for me with a smile, often arriving early to ensure that our schedule stayed on track. Being an on-time person I appreciated this. I actually didn’t have to worry about a thing while I was with them. And I left feeling like I had two new friends. They even remembered my birthday having the restaurant staff on that morning bring a cake to my table and sing happy birthday to me.
After southern India, I flew to northern India for the next part of my trip.
It felt as if northern India was where ancient history met up with a fast paced modern heartbeat. In northern India, we traveled the golden triangle and definitely the spiritual heart of India. The Mughal architecture was incredible. Jaipur was a must see, especially the Amber Fort. In Old Delhi we got masala coffee in little clay cups that was delicious. We went through a spice plantation where a guide told us all about the plants, which was very interesting. We went to tombs and masks where our guide who was incredibly knowledgeable made each of them much more interesting to go through. He explained everything we were seeing for which I was very grateful. The Agra, Fort, Taj Mahal, and city Palace were also much more interesting with his knowledgeable information regarding each. In Jaipur, the Chai masala became my new favorite drink, which we would get at roadside stands freshly made.
We followed the Aravili mountains for much of the trip which added to the beauty of india traveling from one place to the next. The guide took us to the. Gataji temple that was built into a mountain that was not on the itinerary and what is one of my favorite places we went.
I can’t say enough about Bespoke India Travel as a tour company. I would highly recommend you using them if you want to travel to India. They were exemplary.

The level of service from Bespoke India Travel was excellent, really enhancing our holiday. We toured around Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore and Jaipur with a safe, friendly driver and knowledgeable guides. The hotel staff at each stop had been contacted by the team to welcome us personally, including special touches for my wife's birthday. We will definitely go with Bespoke India Travel again if, as we hope, we get back to India in future.

We came across Bespoke India Travel at a travel show at Olympia in February 2024 and were instantly impressed by how we were made to feel welcome at their desk.
Sanjay and his team came across as very knowledgeable and passionate about India.
The attention to detail and choice of Hotels and Home stays were excellent and we enjoyed our 2 day trip on the House Boat, all our guides were excellent and everyone we met or stayed with were most hospitable.
We had a very varied menu and tried some foods which we hadn’t tried previously, all very good.
The two safaris we went on in the Ranthambore National Park enabled us to see a varied selection of animals including a crocodile and the star of the day the Bengal Tiger, please note that the drive through the park is extremely bumpy !!
The itinerary that we had for our trip covered all the usual sites the Taj Mahal, Red Fort etc but also included some very interesting places you would not ordinarily visit.
In summing up, everything went smoothly the organisation was terrific and we can’t thank Sanjay and Ritika and all the drivers guides etc enough for making our first visit to India very special.

Our holiday was brilliant from beginning to end. My husband and I wanted to visit some places that are not on the main holiday itineraries so we contacted Bespoke India Travel with the list of 11 places we wanted to go to and within days, Anil came back with a proposed itinerary for us. We had several communications both in writing and by video and ended up with an amazing holiday. This company is superb. I am already recommending it to friends who have an interest in visiting India. We had a private tour with our own guide/driver wherever we stayed. They could not do enough for us. The hotels selected were just the type we asked for (we wanted locally run as far as possible).

India Magic - writing a review for Bespoke India Travel (BIT) is easy as from start to finish was just perfect. Travelled as a family of four with two kids (18&21). From planning the itinerary with Sanjay his knowledge and local contacts were clear to the assistance we received with BIT representatives at every destination we arrived at to answering and responding to queries whilst “on the road” was first class. The organised guides at each city were great, knowledgeable and responded to our family and preferences. The hotels recommended by BIT were excellent the extra small touches (being our silver wedding anniversary) was extra special. The vehicle we travelled in was a modern large luxury minivan (with v comfortable seats, bottled water, snacks and WiFi!) with a very friendly driver who stayed with us from start to the end (very early morning drop off at the airport). A wonderful trip full of memories and experiences. India was an overload for your senses but so enjoyed. Highly recommend BIT (and their competitive pricing) who will listen to your requirements, plan the perfect holiday based upon in depth knowledge and expertise supported by a great network “on the ground”. We have just returned from the most fantastic holiday in India. We contacted Sanjay, and other travel providers some time ago, choosing Sanjay and Bespoke India because of his knowledge, understanding and the fact he listened to our wishes and was willing to create a truly bespoke package. Sanjay gave suggestions for accommodation and activities which supplemented our requirements. He took the time to answer even the most trivial questions and we felt as if nothing was too much trouble. The whole holiday was seamless, from perfect accomodation to fantastic drivers and knowledgeable guides, ever single think was beyond our expectations. We cannot thank Sanjay enough, would recommend Bespoke India Travel whole heartedly.

Bespoke India were wonderful hosts during our recent trip around India and we'd recommend them wholeheartedly, especially if you have more individual or special needs.

Throughout our travels, across 1000 miles of Rajasthan, the reps from Bespoke were there to guide us and make sure everything went smoothly. This was especially important given my wife uses a wheelchair, and accessibility at some places in India isn't the best. Bespoke took away a lot of the worry for us, so we could focus on enjoying the wonderful sights and sounds.

From the initial booking, where we chatted with Anil Chauhan extensively to help us choose the right itinerary and hotels that worked for us, Bespoke could not have been more helpful. And nothing seemed to much trouble for them when we travelled - they met us at the airport, gave us welcome gifts at the first hotel while going through our itinerary, and met us along the way at hotels and when travelling. We also had a contact on WhatsApp available if we had any questions, not that we did because so much of the planning had been done already and there were no issues. They also selected brilliant guides in each location; a shout out to Rahm in Agra and Mr Kamlendra Singh Chundawat in Udaipur for special praise - they were so kind and accommodating, and had so much knowledge.

They also made my birthday even more special - we were travelling in India partly to celebrate my 50th birthday and they alerted the hotel to this, and also chose a personal gift themselves. Additionally, Mr Chauhan also took time out of his day to meet us that morning, as we were in his home town, and we had a great chat over breakfast. It was like meeting an old friend!

But we especially want to call out our driver Mr Karter Chand for special praise. It was our first time experiencing Indian roads and driving, and he was calm, patient and professional throughout, putting us at ease from the first time we got in the car. He was also very helpful, and must have helped me get the wheelchair in and out of the boot dozens of times! On the long journeys between cities he also gave us some fascinating insights in Indian rural life, and we learnt a lot from him. He is a credit to the company, and a wonderful ambassador for India.

It was great to see some fantastic sights in India, but Bespoke India and the people they employ made our trip an amazing, once in a lifetime experience. Even more than that, they became our friends along the way.

We have just returned from a great trip to India. We already had a proposed itinerary, which we gave to Anil and he booked everything we wanted to see, whilst also suggesting some good alternatives. The booking process was smooth and once we were in India our tour worked like clockwork. We had 6 days in Kerala and then flew to Rajasthan for 10 days. We had good guides and drivers throughout. Anil was ready to assist and checked in regularly. The local Bespoke India representatives in the places we stayed were also attentive and met us throughout our travels. For first-time travel in India, it all worked very well.

We came to Bespoke at quite short notice having been let down by another company. Anil quickly sorted out an itinerary for us and from arrival in India to departure everything went smoothly. We were welcomed at the airport and had excellent drivers, guides, accommodation and experiences throughout. Anil and his team regularly communicated with us during the holiday to check that everything was going well. Highlights were many - the Taj Mahal is astonishingly beautiful - the most perfect built structure I have ever seen. Being welcomed and fed by a couple in their simple tea pickers’ home was lovely. Exploring the Keralan backwaters on an old rice barge was great fun and the food prepared by the crew delicious. All in all a wonderful holiday.

Anil was instrumental in the planning of my trip to India. After taking the time to get to know me and my interests, he proposed a very exciting itinerary. I would be a solo traveler, and Anil guided our conversations accordingly on the best fit in lodging for me, train vs. plane vs car, and balancing time with a guide and time on my own. The overarching theme of the planning was enjoyment of the **experience** of India, such as visiting Varanasi on the Ganges, and riding the subway in Mumbai.
Together we planned an epic adventure. Unfortunately, I needed to cancel my trip months before the departure date. But I am happy to have had the meetings with Anil for his depth of knowledge and love for his home country, and I will get there eventually!

We did the Golden Triangle plus Ranthambore with BIT in April after talking to Sanjay at a travel exhibition. Bespoke India Travel deliver a personalised service which I could not recommend the. highly enough, particularly for those considering a first time trip to India. We spoke to Sanjay a number of times ahead of the trip who tailored the holiday exactly to meet our needs and it is this personal approach that makes them stand out from other operators.

The transfer service and excursions were seemless, very well organised, and made our multi-stop trip effortless. We usually like to organise our trips, transfers, and excursions ourselves, but we werevery happy to hand that over to BIT which allowed us to focus on the experience without the stress of negotiating travel and entrance tickets. All of the hosts, home stays, hotels, BIT transfer staff, and our driver were excellent. When we next go to India we will go with Bespoke India Travel.

We were 3 siblings meeting up from all corners of the globe and Anil from Bespoke India Travel organised a fantastic trip for us in both Kolkata and Bhutan. The accommodation, guides and drivers and meals were marvellous. Our 6 nights in Bhutan were wonderful with a mix of historic sites, Buddhist temples and hiking. Hiking to Tigers Nest followed by a hot stone bath, visiting the wildlife rescue park in Thimphu and the fertility temple near Panakha were highlights. Almost everything was covered in the tour price and the daily arrangements were seamless. The guide went out of her way to ensure local events were not missed.
